Guest : What has been going on with etihad airlines nowadays? I travelled from abu dhabi to manila dated 01 july 2016 with two checked in baggages. When i arrived at my destination, i got only one from the carousel and the other one is missing. Today 04 july we cannot be able to contact the number they have provided. Sometimes it is ringing but nobody attend to it. I only have until 08 jul here in manila. I cant enjoy my holidays. What should i do now? Guest : Arrived in Sydney from Abu-Dhabi on the 1st of July and they told us the bags will be here in 48 hours. After many unanswered phone calls we finally get a call to say they would be at our apartment yesterday morning. Still no bags. Now we are told that they are having trouble tracing the bags. The airline is lacking accountability in that the number provided by them nor the E-mail address is being attended to. A colleague and I were travelling fr om Rome to Mumbai via Abu Dhabi and have lost 3 baggage pieces. Apart from containing branded clothes, expensive jackets and gift items from Europe for friends and family , it contains electronics including hard disk drives with years and years of data, photographs from family trips et al. Etihad - wh ere is the accountability and assurance tostand up and tell your customers that atleasr there is all effort to find our luggage. In such times, the least you could do is keep the Information leg continuous by answering calls and emails. High time you do that lest some of our customers take up this matter legally am through the media.

Arrived in Sydney from Abu-Dhabi on the 1st of July and they told us the bags will be here in 48 hours. Corinna doyle : Hi, my husband and I landed in Phuket a few hours ago, but our bags did not arrive with us. We reported this and filled out forms in the arrival hall at the airport but they couldn't give us any information on when we might get out bags. Flight was: EY 430 Etihad Airways (AUH) Abu Dhabi to Phuket on July 2nd Bag Tag Number(s) EY277460 EY277450 Reference number : HKTEY12554 There were 30+ people there who also had no bags arrive on the same flight. So this seems to be a real issue. Also when we arrived at our hotel we discovered lots of other passengers who have flown the last few days with Etihad Airways (AUH) Abu Dhabi to Phuket have also had their bags lost and still not been found 3 days later. Needles to say we're a bit annoyed having paid to fly business with Etihad for our honeymoon but ended up with no bags. Can you assist in locating the bags? I flew from Dublin to Perth via Abu Dhabi last Thursday 30th June. 5 days later I still have no luggage , first time and last time I will use Etihad !!

Hi everyone . I was travelling Melbourrne - Moscow. Arrived on the 2nd of July. No luggage has arrived. Tried to call the airline- and was told that "no one is here today" because it was Sunday. Very disappointed. And my bag is still not traceable.

I arrived yesterday in Chicago and after waiting at the baggage claim carousel my luggage was among many other passengers who had their luggage lost as well. This is a very serious mistake. I was told that the airlines would deliver the luggage to my home after filling out a claim form. I have tried to call the number on the claim form and left a message with no response. This is very unprofessional and I will not be flying this airline. My stomach is sick, knowing that all my belonging is at a status of unknown. No one from the airlines has tried to call or apologize or ensure that they are doing their best to locate lost luggage. It is as no one cares. There should be someone responding to passengers concerns.

Hi, I have also lost both of my luggage in the flight EY027 from Abu Dhabi to Edinburgh on 2nd July 2016 and reported a complain at the Edinburgh Airport. I tried to contact on the phone numbers for the update but no one is picking up the phone. My Baggage Ref Number is : EDIEY12055. Please help

Hi, I have also lost both of my luggage in the flight EY027 from Abu Dhabi to Edinburgh on 2nd July 2016 and reported a complain at the Edinburgh Airport. I wasn't immediately provided with any PIR and was promised to recieve a call with the PIR reference the same day, but its over 30hrs now, I have No calls from Etihad till now and the lost luggage department number is not answered. I had important personal belongings including medication for my 2.5 year old child and perishable food items. Please someone from Etihad deal with our lost luggage asap. We are in need of our items.

A lot of people have been lining up at the baggage claim area in Prague. In several instances, it was always a flight by Etihad. Based from the comments below, it seems there is a problem at Abu Dhabi airport. I also lost my luggage with a lot of personal stuff.

our baggage has not been reached to MCT. same issue from others. our flight was on july 2, 2016 around 3am. they have delayed our flight by 2 hours because they are waiting for our baggages as the Pilot explained. since yesterday morning we are calling the etihad number provided to us thru report they have made, but no answer nor feedback coming from them. Such a hirrible experience. We came to their offices yesterday and the staff on duty cant barely give us any ecplanation nor even apologies from their airlines mistakes. he even told us that "accordingly to their policy we will be compensated" if within 3 weeks they couldnt find our baggages. Excuse me this is not right for us. we have perosnal belongings there that is ireplacable by any amount of money. forget about the perishable foods we have but the way he answered as if he dosent have and care to us "Customer" it is really jndeed disappointing and stressfull for me and im sure for others as well. i hope their management help us to lovate it as fast as they can and inform us!.

My luggage has now been lost for more than 24hrs. After many unanswered calls to their lost luggage I reached a live person in one of their country offices who confirmed they are having issues in Abu Dhabi airport and many customers are suffering lost luggage and they could not confirm status . As I am in a foreign country with no personnel effects they informed me I could buy any necessary items till my luggage arrives and claim back later.

Is anyone from Ethiad even following this thread? It appears thousands of passengers for the past few days are going through this major problem with Ethiad. I flew from NEW DELHI to Frankfurt on 2-July for a business trip for 22 days. Have no clothes and basic toiletries too. FLIGHT NO. EY211 & EY7. There is no update yet on wh ere the baggage is and when I can get. Please trace it and update asap.

Hi I flew in from uganda entebbe airport then transited in Abu dhabu to Shanghai but wen I got here yesterday my luggage was missing so l reported to the baggage claim ad al they gav me was a form ad said they will stay in touch,flight no was Ey 862 ad the tag no is Ey306953 ,lm so disappointed in u etihad but l blam it on me cz this is the second time this is happening but l wanted to giv u the benefit of the dought,u e lost urself a devoted client but please try try my luggage cz l only hav 3 days in Shanghai

It appears there are numerous luggage going missing on Etihad flights. Yesterday I took business class (reservation number VXQGWE) , unfortunately my luggage has not arrived. There were at least 20 others on the flights who's bags were missing. There was no airline representative in the arrivals hall. The lost luggage was logged at the lost luggage counter but there has been no information or assistance 20 hours later. I tried calling Etihad 24hour help desk but no information or assistance was offered. This was my first time flying Etihad and is likely to be my last.

Hi, I arrived in Jakarta on July 1st on EY 472. Unfortunately, my luggage didn't arrive. I have called the CGK baggage service office and also traced my luggage on WorldTracer but there is still no information of my missing luggage. My file reference number is CGKEY25239 and my luggage tag number is BE148770. This is my first time flying with Etihad and I am hugely dissapointed as I have not experienced this issue with other airlines before. Prior on leaving the airport, I noticed a large number of passengers also lost their luggages, so it is clearly an alarming issue. If you get information, please email me on nandirazafira@gmail.com. I arrived in London today morning on EY 11 already delayed 2 hours due to missing luggage and found both my check in luggage missing as well. This contains important stuff including medicines and clothes I need in London. There is.still no update in the tracking website. Good day. I arrived in Manila from (RUH-AUH-MNL connecting flight) and arrived here last July 30 via flight EY 424. I lost four (4) luggages under the name of Jennifer Deluyas. Pkease kindly help us locate those bags coz they contain important documents.

Sir,. I am Jayadeep.C.Sekhar who booked to travel in Etihad airways from Riyadh to cochin on 01/07/2016. Flight number is as follows (EY) 316 and Jet Airways India (9W)-575.But due to one hour delay of flight (EY) 316,I missed Jet Airways India (9W)-575.So,I complained about this at Etihadoffice,Abudhabi.They told me to wait in queue and I waited in the queue for at least 1 hour. Then they allowed me to travel in the flight EY 248 to Thiruvananthapuram instead of kochi. After reaching Thiruvananthapuram I only realized that my lagguage did not arrived.I informed about it to the Etihad officer and they made a PIR about this.Now it has been 24 hours after this incident.Till now I didn't either get my lagguage nor I didn't got a favorable reply from Thiruvananthapuram office. My daughter and I flew into Madrid on 01 July Flight EY75. My File reference number is MADEY11044. We move on fr om Madrid to Malaga by train tomorrow and still no baggage and depart from Barcelona for Abu Dhabi on the 12th. Our friend's bag turned up but not ours. I have checked the WordTracer website and it seems you still have no idea wh ere our bags are. This is best described as a fiasco.

Experience with EY has been worst because baggage did not come with us on arrival and tracking does not even provide the latest status. I will avoid this airline in future and is the last time I am flying

I sent my aunty uncle sisters family to london on 1st july to London. My Uncles baggage is missing in London which contains my aunts medication which he needs to take them everyday. They are panicking there in london and so am i here. i tried to call the numbers possible to locate the baggage with no sucess. nobody is picking any phone even the emergency ones. My suitcase has been missing since June 29 too between Abu Dhabi and Bangkok. It's almost impossible to call the office in Bangkok, the line's always busy and they answer, they just have no information about the missing luggage. I had a wedding to attend yesterday and suit, shirt and shoes, etc.. were in the suitcase. No compensation at all has been offered. What shoud I do? File reference BKKEY42420

And once we checked in the morning today, they were unable to find our luggages till now. We are not even at home. We had no compensation unlike those American and British fellows. I had my baby car seat delayed for 2 days now!!! imagine you get off the plane after 16 hours of flight and you don't have any car seat for your 12 months old baby !!! no call so far!!! no answering phonr

We had a luggage delay from Abu Dhabi to Dallas. We had three baggage delay. We are two passengers. We are given 40 USD per day. That is very low and I need formal proof from Eithad about the official compensation per day.

Hello Etihad Airways, This is to inform you that I, Sisir Kumar Basu, could not find my luggage at the destination airport in KOLKATA(CCU,INDIA). We boarded on flight AA1404 on June 27 from Boston Logan Airport to O Hare International Airport,CHiCAGO,USA. I tracked my baggage last time that it was in CHICAGO and after that we had flight EY150 and EY256 to reach KOLKATA. I left the bag on the over head cabinet and forgot to take when we were rushing for connection flight to JFK. How can I get it back. I have the tag on my bag but no name.

When I landed in Calicut and I have received 5 bags , i was able to trace one tag but unfortunately i have lost the luggage slip of the last bag which was droped later , Is there any way to trace the luggesges from PNR OR at least get the luggage slip again
