Is anyone else having issues getting compensation from EasyJet? Our flight was delayed by 3.5 hours and I am entitled to compensation for my ticket and also refreshments. EasyJet have been sneaky. The historical flight tracker states they took off only half hour late which is incorrect. The plane simply pulled back from the bay and then we sat in that position for over 3 hours before taking off EasyJet are saying I cannot claim refund of my refreshments as I dont have a receipt. They didnt give receipts. Ive given them my bank statement but they say it doesnt prove anything Any advice would be good. The company and its staff are currently coming across as a bunch of fraudsters!

Hi, absolutely sick to death of EasyJet and their lack of customer service care. Booked a few different flights in 2019 for 2020, being kind rolled these flights on and on. Now due to change of work pattern, I have had to make some changes and accept I now have to pay a fare difference and the admin costs. BUT! Second time now I have tried to change a flight to a new date. Same issue as before, booking overpaid error on mobile app or on the website, error price increase. On the app it says to change £50, £2 fare difference, total £52! Directly below enter card details here, do that and it comes up booking overpaid and won't work. Let me do our return flight no issue and was just the admin cost. Rang customer services and no help. Told me have to pay £130.47 to change even though sent screenshot, apparently more as they add taxes! WHAT! That costs more than I can book the flight as a new customer! I've already paid for the * flight! How do I get around this? Apparently they don't report website faults when customers complain as they don't deal with maintenance! To top that, I cancelled my daughters flights on 18th July and 22nd July as she tested positive for Covid. I spoke to customer service who said send the positive fit to fly certificate and you can get a voucher. NOPE! Won't sort anything as its not a PCR certificate! Well won't be booking future flights to Europe with these. The thanks you get for supporting them through covid and not taking a refund. Lesson learnt.

I booked a flight months ago to Prague for the 5th August with easyjet. Now they've just cancelled my flight. All my hotels are booked and my return is through Ryanair. They've offered me a replacement flight on the same day, but is an awful flight - 8 hours stopping at Amsterdam instead of 2! I have no alternative to take it. I was wondering if anyone knew if there was any way to be compensated for this. I've complained to easyjet but I doubt I'll get a reply.

Please help,we are due to fly on sunday , we paid for seats together as a family of 2 adults and 3 kids. We have been emailed today to be told we are sat no where near each other on the plane. My kids are 9,12 and 14 . They say i have to raise it with the staff on the aircraft when we get there has anyone else been in this situ and did they put u together ?

Our flight has been changed to earlier in the day - we had already booked parking at Gatwick through Easyjet but having awful trouble trying to amend the slot to earlier. Can't do it online - just get an Error 404 message. Have called customer services several times - get different advice each time, none of which has resolved the issue. Any ideas please?

Hi lovely peeps Hoping someone has encountered a very similar issue as me and might be able to provide some info/insight on how they dealt with the situation I left my cabin luggage on a flight last night at Gatwick airport (at least I think it was on the flight as I didnt have it with me when I went through customs). Apparently no one (cabin crew or cleaners) has handed my luggage in. If anyone has lost anything on a flight - were you able to retrieve it and how long did you have to wait for? Any other similar experience or tips/advice to share would be more than welcome :)

Easyjet Hell. As a family of 6 our flight home from Naples to London was cancelled 2 days before it was due. The 1st flight we could get was 4 days after our cancelled flight. After many hours of phone calls easyjet told us to book a hotel ourselves and claim the money back. I was somewhat concerned at this as they gave us no idea of what sort of budget we should be looking at and later, when we claimed, would they reject the claim and state that we had booked something too expensive this ending up with us being out of pocket through no fault of our own. After many arguments easyjet agreed to find and book a hotel for us for one night. Asked if they could book us for four nights they said no ,you have to ring back in the morning and book again.After a long can ride and 200 euros out of pocket we arrived at our hotel at which quite a lot of other people from cancelled flights were staying. In fact so many that they opened a hall for us to eat in marked as sky flights. No choice of food. It was a chicken cutlet and some pasta that night and some bottled water that was it. You can't really unpack and settle in because easyje t make you ring them the following morning to see if they will pay for the hotel that night so you don't know if your moving on or staying put. Again you can be on the phone for up to an hour and then they say we will email you with confirmation within 2hours. So you can't really go out in case they say you can't stay here you need to move to another hotel so your pretty much confined to barracks. This has gone on for 3 days and God knows what my phone bill will be now. Yesterday my son was given 5 minutes to pack and leave the room as the hotel stated that we wouldn't be staying here as they have no availability for that night. Booking.com shows plenty of availibillity Over two separate calls both lasting in the region of an hour to easyje t by my wife and myself we were promised we would be advised by email within 2hrs of a new hotel. Nearly 24hrs later and nothing has been done. So we will be packing up and going to sit in The lobby with all our luggage this morning and once again will be spending hours on the phone trying to sort accommodation for a problem not of our making. Quite frankly I think we have been treated appallingly and easyjet have made it so much worse than it needed to be.

hi looking for anyone who had their Easyjet Birmingham - Edinburgh flight cancelled on Friday 10th June 2022. We were due to fly the day before but our flight was cancelled. We have put a claim in for the train fare we had to pay but EasyJet have responded to say there was a flight the next day. I am pretty sure that it was cancelled as i remember thinking at the time we were glad we got the train. If you can help out with a copy of your cancellation message from EasyJet that would be fantastic. thanks

Can anyone advise please what to do? We are due to go on holiday on the 7th August. London to Lanzarote We have 6 adults and 2 kids on one booking - on Sunday 7th 4 adults and 2 children will travel and on the 11th August 2 more adults will fly out. We then ALL fly home together on Sunday 21st August to LGW I want to pay for hold luggage one 23kg piece per person but when I try to do this it charges me to take 8 pieces of luggage on all three flights. Which of course I do not want to do. Easyjet help team say they can not change this. And this is the only way we can book luggage. PLEASE HELP!! We want 6 pieces of luggage on the 7th August, 2 pieces of luggage on the 11th and 8 pieces on the 21st - The amount of luggage is the same as the amount of people flying. It really is as simple as that. What should I do?

Guest : Steve B : Really upset, shocked at them - Easyjet just cancelled my flight from Belfast to Luton on 26th December - put me on a later flight, this now means I can't make my Easyjet flight from Luton to Faro (booked at the same time) . Easyjet said they would refund my disrupted flight but not my flight from Luton to Faro despite it being completely their choice/fault to cancel the flight to Luton meaning I would miss it.....any advice welcome - Am I being unreasonable ??? I will complain to them, the CAA and anyone else who will listen. A similar thing has happened to me- have you found a solution yet?

Our flight has been pushed back a day, meaning we have had to buy another nights accommodation. I am unsure if I am entitled to compensation as the flight was changed in advance (I am still yet to go on holiday), but I've already had to pay unexpected costs.

Hello! You should arrive 2-3 hours before the flight. Id say be earlier than later to anticipate any delays. The first thing you should do is go to the flight desk (look for the airline you booked with) with your bags, where you can drop off your checked luggage. Note checked luggage is luggage which they take straight away, and goes at the bottom of the plane. Cabin luggage is what you take yourself onto the plane and goes in the overhead cabinets. Here is where you can check-in for your flight (but you should be able to do this online as well really easily!) This will give you a boarding pass, to let you in to the flight. Make sure you have your passport as well! After your luggage is sent off, you can go through to security where they check your bags which go with you on the plane. Make sure you put any liquids in a clear bag and dont have any above 100ml each! Then youll be in the duty free shopping area. Here you need to check the board which has your flight times on it - keep checking until it tells you what gate you need to walk to. Usually you need to be at the gate at least 30 minutes before the flight is - better to be earlier than later! Then after the flight, you need to go through passport control at your final destination. I got an email saying Wednesdays flight to Hurghada was cancelled When I went onto their site to try and get s different it state no flights out to Hurghada until August 03/22 We were informed 4 days before we flew which was too late to cancel our accommodation Hope everyone who is due to fly after Wednesday has been informed to enable them to either rebook with a different carrier or cancel the holiday

Got email from easyjet about an hour later with instructions to make our way to a hotel for the night and they would fly us to Gatwick following day with further transport to get us back to Edinburgh. Wow to little to late and very inconvenient. Put a claim in for expenses REFUSED because they say they sorted accommodation and flight back for us. If they were quicker getting info to customers and we were not alone in sorting alternative arrangements ourselves they have showed a lack of customer care. Wouldn't be surprised if they try and get out paying the standard compensation per person they are legally bound to pay. And by the way they would have paid more for their solution than expenses i claimed we were returning from Greece 24th 25th May 1.40am had a text from easyjet flights was delayed for 2 hours the day before departure. 5 minutes from the airport 75 people on the coach get a text saying flight cancelled. Go to check in station easyjet staff shut up shop and we were told skyairways will sort the problem. I got to the desk and asked next flight to Gatwick please. She replies Friday 23 40 OK I hand her my phone ,30 seconds later she hands it back to me and said all you have to do is check in as normal so i did. All done. My insurance will not payout because I have no proof of being on that flight. Everything from easyjet app dissappear, the boarding pass the whole trip , no record of it. What the hell. This must be a scam . Insurance companies would of been told about all this disruption months ago so they don't have to payout as 30,000 people are stranded all across the scorchio parts of unripe and the cloudy cold UK.
