Hi there I have 6 flights booked for this Saturday morning and unfortunately may need to postpone our holiday. We would like to reschedule for another date. The flights cost me almost £2500 and on the new dates the equivalent cost would be approx £600! I realise I would have to pay an fee of £49 per person per flight to change but am trying to work out if I would be due a refund given the reduced flight costs? I cant find any clear answers on the EJ website and would be grateful if anyone is able to clarify? Many thanks. Michael

Once over , if you wanted you could pay about £7 to put your large cabin bag in the hold, it use to be called "hands free" , it's no longer available as hands free but on the web site it suggests you can still do it starting from £5.99. Does anyone have any idea 8f this still can be done and roughly how much it now costs?

When we booked flights to Crete recently the only option to include a large carry on bag was to buy an “Up Front” package which included Speedy Boarding, an assigned seat in the first three rows and a large cabin bag allowance. I did not particularly want Speedy Boarding or an Up Front seat; I simply wanted to take on board a large carry on bag that met Easy Jets carry on bag dimensions so bought the package. When I checked in online I changed seats to move to a quieter section of the plane. At boarding, the gate agent informed me that having moved seats our “Up Front” benefits had been cancelled and that we would need to pay 58 Euro to gate check our large carry on bags. When it became apparent that we would not be allowed to board with our bags I agreed to pay the gate check fee and our bags were consigned to the hold. On our return I contacted Easy Jet to request a refund of the gate check charges and was repeatedly told either that Easy Jet terms and conditions do not allow refunds or that my bags must have been too large to take into the cabin. I wrote to Johan Lundgren, CEO, with the same request and received a similar response from an executive assistant, with a “goodwill” offer of £25.64. It was impossible to ascertain how this figure had been calculated. I paid for benefits I did not want and was denied the carry on bag benefit I had paid for. I then had to pay again to have the bag put into the hold, which was what I was trying to avoid in the first place. When we eventually boarded we found that most of the overhead lockers were empty, which was not surprising as we were part of a long line of passengers also being charged to gate check their carry on bags. There was no warning when I changed seats that I would loose the “Up Front” benefits and despite numerous requests to Easy Jet, they have been unable to show me any reference to this in their Terms and Conditions. I have given up any hope of receiving a refund but would like to publicise what seems to be a rather cynical pricing policy.

Bonjour, Mon vol EZY6433 dep 17:20.was delayed . We were supposed to be given more info at 21:15, nothing happened. My husband back in Nice watched the arrivals screen on line wich said this flight was cancelled. I left Gatwick for the Hilton Hotel. Our daughter back in Londonfound out the next day that the flight had actually left Gatwick after midnight and supposedly landed in Nice at 3:00 am. I really would like to know what really happened. I was fortunate to get a flight to Nice the next day.
We were flying to Corfu yesterday on a 6.25am flight. I recieved notification that the flight was delayed to 7.00am. We arrived at the terminal 5.20am and as we had paid for hold luggage joined the que for baggage drop. As the line was busy it took some time and we asked an assistant for advice as time was starting to run short. We were told that baggage drop for our flight had closed at 5.45am as the departure time had reverted to 6.25. We were not informed of the change and as clearly stated baggage drop closes 40mins. before departure. We missed our flights. The cost of all this was over £1300 plus car parking and fuel. How do I get this back?

On 16/08/22 I booked a hire car via easyJet for collection at Malaga airport. The booking process included entering the flight arrival time at Malaga. On the next screen I noticed that the time had changed to the flight departure time from Gatwick. I back-tracked and repeated the process, but the same thing happened. I didn't think it would matter much so completed the booking. On arrival at Malaga airport I was told that I had arrived too late and the car had been rented to somebody else. I had no choice but to accept and pay for an upgrade. I have pointed out to easyJet the bug in their booking system and suggested I should have the upgrade charge refunded, but they have refused any liability. Has anybody else had this problem, and if so what date did you make the booking?
Just curious. Paid for two seats to be sat together so we was closer to the front. I’d had an accident causing a Haematoma, ripped tendons and chipped bone. We got to the desk at Greece when boarding the plane to be told we had been reallocated seats as the seats we chose was broken and couldn’t be sat in, I thought ok fair enough happy to not sit there. They were further back which is the price you pay for your safety but when walking past our seats other passengers had been allocated them! I find this rather strange for them to lie after we paid for them! Am I being a little over the top for thinking this is wrong?
Angelq : Anyone know when flights for August 2023 will be released? TODAY! The flights seem really expensire to me this time. I only need a cuple of flights out to Dalaman in July, and it would cost me £100 more than the flights cost, to take an Easyjet holiday, with flights to the sdame airport, stay in a hotel (with breakfast) for 2 weeks and have my transfers included. So this shouts to me that the flights are massively overpriced this time.

I'm having loads of problems trying to get through Easyjet's "Welfare Claim" form after they cancelled our return flight & we had to come back a day early. The form seems straight forward, but its impossible to "continue" after the CAPTCHA. I have emailed "customer support" twice, & had no reply. I have phoned the chat number & been told there's no problem with the form - but, by coincidence (?) if I try to phone while the form is open, I can't get through. I've used Easyjet loads in the past, but if they don't respond to this, I will not be using them in future.

I think asking for bank info to be sent via email (with a threat of your claim being dismissed after 5 days if you don't) is a 'scare' tactic...who is going to send bank details by email? Either that or they have lost your original data which is even more worrying. I have asked them to send me a cheque...if they don't I'll be reporting them to the UK's ICO (our data protection agency)...it is an extremely irresponsible practice or tactic.

Hi, absolutely sick to death of EasyJet and their lack of customer service care. Booked a few different flights in 2019 for 2020, being kind rolled these flights on and on. Now due to change of work pattern, I have had to make some changes and accept I now have to pay a fare difference and the admin costs. BUT! Second time now I have tried to change a flight to a new date. Same issue as before, booking overpaid error on mobile app or on the website, error price increase. On the app it says to change £50, £2 fare difference, total £52! Directly below enter card details here, do that and it comes up booking overpaid and won't work. Let me do our return flight no issue and was just the admin cost. Rang customer services and no help. Told me have to pay £130.47 to change even though sent screenshot, apparently more as they add taxes! WHAT! That costs more than I can book the flight as a new customer! I've already paid for the * flight! How do I get around this? Apparently they don't report website faults when customers complain as they don't deal with maintenance! To top that, I cancelled my daughters flights on 18th July and 22nd July as she tested positive for Covid. I spoke to customer service who said send the positive fit to fly certificate and you can get a voucher. NOPE! Won't sort anything as its not a PCR certificate! Well won't be booking future flights to Europe with these. The thanks you get for supporting them through covid and not taking a refund. Lesson learnt.
I booked a flight months ago to Prague for the 5th August with easyjet. Now they've just cancelled my flight. All my hotels are booked and my return is through Ryanair. They've offered me a replacement flight on the same day, but is an awful flight - 8 hours stopping at Amsterdam instead of 2! I have no alternative to take it. I was wondering if anyone knew if there was any way to be compensated for this. I've complained to easyjet but I doubt I'll get a reply.
