We booked extra leg room seats for a flight. We boarded the flight and were seated in our allocated seats when the flight was cancelled due to a technical issue and were transferred to a hotel for the night. A new flight was arranged for the next day. On check in we were told all the extra leg room seats were taken and we were given standard seats. My question is, will EasyJet refund the money, nearly £50 for seats we paid for and were not allocated?

So EasyJet refunded me with a flight voucher last year. They extended the voucher until 31/01/24. However when I tried to book flights on 31st, the voucher had "expired". When I contacted EasyJet they said it actually expired at midnight on 30/01/24. Anyway, it made national news as this had happened to many people who had vouchers, EasyJet admitted responsibility. However, after calling EasyJet multiple times, contacting them via online live chat and filling out forms online, I'm still none the wiser as to what the result will be. I've been told by an advisor for EasyJet that 'it's our fault and we will extend all vouchers, check your email in 3 days', that was 8 days ago, to fill out this complain form and you'll hear within 28 days, as well as 'this isn't our department, call this number'. Did this happen to anyone else, if so, what was the result?

Warning regarding Easyjet baggage policy. I recently travelled on an Easyjet flight from Jersey to Gatwick and was travelling with a small cabin bag (a half-empty soft backpack). At the airport I was asked to put my bag in the size gauge to show it complied with the maximum allowable for a small cabin bag. My bag fitted in perfectly but, being a soft bag I folded it to do this. I was then informed that I wasn't allowed to fold my bag to make it fit anymore (I have been using this bag like this for about 8 years) and had to keep it unfolded at which point it was 5cm too long and I was charged £48. This seems to be a ridiculous policy so I contacted Easyjet to complain and ask for a refund but have subsequently been told by them that this is now their policy. So be aware, just because your bag fits in the bag gauge and complies with their policy it doesn't mean you won't get charged an extortionate amount anyway.

My husband and I recently flew with Easyjet to Corsica and Sardinia on two seperate holidays. Both times, there was no room in the overhead lockers for my husband's rucksack, so he had to rummage through all the lockers until he managed to squeeze it into one several rows behind our seats. Upon landing, he could not reach his bag due to the aisle being crowded with passengers waiting to get off the plane. This problem was created by the change in hand baggage rules, allowing wheeled travel bags to be stowed in the overhead lockers. Bad move Easyjet.

Just had the worst experience in 50 years of flying! The ground staff on the easy jet flight out of Faro to Gatwick. Left hand right hand and speedy boarding!!!! This lady didn’t know which lane was the speedy boarding and confused everyone. So much to say that the entire flight were then ushered into the speedy booking lane. I will be taking this experience all the way. As this operative was the rudest, most ignorant person who sadly reflects the worst customer service on easy jet. I will not be the only person reflecting on this experience. Quite possibly this person is not contracted to easy jet. But this person needs to be fired!

Checked in some time ago on our return flight back from Split to Gatwick, then received an email saying the whole flight was cancelled and we had been moved to a flight the following day. Now new flight login details but we already checked in!! Website does not allow us to check in with new details. Worried about being bumped off the flight (again) because of no check in but maybe we have been moved automatically checked in? (My assumption). No way of knowing or finding out. No helpline number, no human being to ask but just going round and round in circles on the managing your flight site which still shows us as needing to check in. Any advice?

Keep getting this same error message from Easyjet website. I've had this issue several times, every time I try and book a flight, using different email addresses etc. I cannot book a flight. Has anyone experienced this before? Any advice? Calling easyjet customer service is am absolute * of time because they keep telling me there is no issue.

Hi, Need some advice, long story but Easy jet delayed out flight. It took off initially then the captain announced we had to return to the airport as they didn’t have the correct safety paperwork signed off. Very very odd! So we were delayed for 4 hours Ona flight that’s over 2500kms long. They refused our claim and lied about the reason for what happened, but 2 weeks later emails us saying we were eligible for compensation. There were 4 passengers and easy jet accosted our claim but for only £220. Now this between 4 passengers is a joke. They are con artists. We emailed them denying their settlement and stated our rights under the aviation act etc….. What’s the best way to tackle this? Kind regards

I am absolutely fuming had a flight cancelled and change on my inbound flight I had originally paid for certain seats and a large cabin bag now I have been moved to another flight without what I had originally booked. You cannot reach easyjet by phone as you get cut off. My outward bound journey i had cabin baggage with one in overhead and one underseat and an upfront seat and now I don't have that on my inbound flight and they are wanting me to pay more nit my fault they cancelled the flight

We booked a flight several months ago and paid for extra leg room which gave us speedy boarding and a large cabin bag plus a small cabin bag each included in the fee. Easyjet have today cancelled this flight with three weeks to go and have booked us on an earlier flight. They have refunded the extra leg room fees. However, since we booked they have apparently changed their terms to standard, standard plus and essentials, so to get what we had before will involve us paying a lot more money, not to mention that two of our party can’t even get extra leg room as these seats are all booked. Can Easyjet be allowed to cancel our flight and rebook another and then charge us more?

My sister booked large cabin luggage on a european flight months ago but this isn't showing on the booking. They say its a change in policy and wont engage in discussion. They say it was booked before the change in policy but the flight is after the change in policy. As the booking only shows the total amount paid, I dont know how we prove that it was paid for?

Hoping someone can answer a quick question for me - flying with a friend in a few days time, had already checked in online but I wanted to double check my previously entered api/passport details etc. Used my friend’s app to go to where it shows names with Complete/a tick next to them and clicked on my name - a pop up appeared saying any changes would result in having to check in again. Didn’t make any changes/enter any info at all and just clicked back out of the screen - will going in just to view my details have undone my online check in? My name still showed Complete/a tick next to it afterwards but the pop up made me panic a bit. Also, has anyone ever had the check in/passes button disappear before from any of their flights, and if so what did it mean?

I had a cancelled flight and easyJet got me an another flight the next day. Completed the online form for compensation and expenses. I have received my expenses but not any compensation. Is this normal? Do I get expenses first the compensation after?
