Why are EasyJet cancelling flights and Ryanair isn’t? Is it because Ryanair have already purchased cheaper fuel?

Guest : Easyjet just cancelled flights to Egypt at the end of June- so they know they're gonna be short-staffed in 12 weeks time-great proactive management!?! Just had our cancelled in 88 days time no notification I checked the app .next flight is the 3rd July but hotel booked for 1st thanks so much sleazyjet

I was told via my group of friends that our return flight back from Berlin had been rescheduled. I had received no email from Easyjet, when I checked my online booking it did say cancelled, but when I tried to book onto the same flight back as my friends, which they had all been automatically moved to, there are no seats available. The only thing Easyjet could offer when I spoke to them was a flight the day after, this is no good to me. I have had to cancel my whole trip and am absolutely gutted and disgusted with them. They have refunded my flights but this is little comfort when I am missing out on a trip away with friends.

Just checked my flight Bristol - Faro on 27 April already showing “sold out” but when I check I can still change flight/seats/add bags etc. if they know it’s going to be cancelled they should let people know NOW !! I have been getting really tired of easyJet for a while now. Has to be time to find another airline if there is one that’s any better !!!!!

Will I be able to be transferred to another flight if I turn up for my cancelled flight at the relevant time. The flight is part of an easy jet holiday booking

Had my Easyjet flight on 30th to Bordeaux cancelled with three hours notice, I was about to get a cab to the airport. And now just four days later my return cancelled. I was only offered a return to Luton on the 4th (no option to rebook to the Gatwick flight tonight...obvious why,they want you to pay the high price for the short notice flight but give you a refund on a flight you booked weeks ago. Come on Easyjet your London customers are largely agnostic of the airport so stop stuffing about

Guest : Had my flight Luton to Nice on 31st cancelled at short notice, re-booked for the 1st April, again cancelled at short notice, re-booked for 3rd and cancelled once again. Easyjet not shy of taking your money then hanging on to it. Bloody annoyed!!!!!! Might have to switch to BA in future?

Anyone booked on easyJet flight from Liverpool to Lanzarote next Saturday 9th April and knows if it's still going. I've just done dummy run to book and it says no flight available on Saturday 9th april does this mean it will be cancelled?

Had our flight cancelled at Manchester to Mykonos at 2.30am, flying at 7.05am. Luckily not set off to airport. No explanation, no flights til next Saturday. Nightmare getting through to oeopke but easy to cancel on app, get a voucher of refund.

Several easy jet flights cancelled out of Gatwick today. No explanation given, no warning until I got to check in with wife and two children. Very Disappointed Back to the days when easy jet started, no customer care.

My flights to Berlin have been cancelled last two days not giving me much time to organize first flight to Berlin was Edinburgh to Berlin on the 2nd of April 2022 cancelled on Thursday the 31st of March spend hours on the phone and changed to for Sunday the 3rd that’s just cancelled as well given me no time 😡

Just received text and email from Easyjet saying my flight from Gatwick to Bordeaux on Friday 1 April 2022 has been cancelled - no explanation or reason given. Seems this is happening regularly? Does anyone know the reason?

Hey, I'm also trying to figure out why Gatwick>Stuttgart isn't a thing anymore - used to be a really convenient route for me so I'm really hoping it'll come back, does anyone know anything?

Was anyone caught up in the Easyjet cancellations from Geneva on Sunday 20 th Feb. We were due to fly on EZY8485 at 21:35 to Gatwick which was cancelled after we had gone to gate C56. The official reason was bad weather to stop you claiming EC261 compensation but this to me was a scam because the aircraft was at the gate and many other flights we leaving for destinations across the UK from Geneva and nearby Airports. Interestingly, on checking flights, an Easy jet flight left for Bristol from the same gate !! at 23:08 Flight U2 6160 (21:10) Devious? Clearly Easyjet cancelled the Gatwick flight and re-routed it to Bristol. Must have needed the aircraft in Bristol, but deny us compensation. To me devious business practice shrouded with lies? Any thoughts?

Having a terrible time. Flight cancelled so took the refund after a long history of cancelled flights / charges. They have refunded most of the the amount but am short. It might be because of their glitch systems charging me 3 lots of various amounts for extra legroom. Just tried to call and then they cut me off as they had no explanation of the mischarge. I'm using BA more now as so much easier.

My Easyjet flight to Marrakech on 21st March has just been cancelled. No email, no customer contact to inform me and no reason given. Hope they're not canceling the tickets and re issuing them at a higher price!!

My Agp-Brs flight on 20.01.22 was cancelled by Easyjet, I had no email to inform me of this. Easyjet have still not refunded me the 2 cancelled flights and to add insult to injury are not prepared to cover the extra costs involved.

I dunno what's going on, but they cancelled my flight to London from Stuttgart and back for the 4th time now, it's making me not want to go, after last cancellation I booked at Ryanair but they cancelled 2 times also, it's getting uncomfortable..

Does anyone has any info why easyJet is canceling so many flights lately? I had a booking from Amsterdam to Pula and from Vienna to Amsterdam and they both got canceled and they have taken off all the flights until October.

I had booked to fly to geneva in December 21, but changed flight to April 22 instead. However, the travel insurance that I originally booked through easyjet is still showing the december dates..how to change this so i am covered for April instead?

We are due to fly from Edinburgh to Venice on 18th February. However, it looks as if Easyjet keeps cancelling flights on this weekly route and this coming Friday's flight has now disappeared as a booking option. Does anyone have any experience of this on this route and more generally, are people finding that Easyjet is cancelling flights less than 14 days before departure? Thank you

Beware booking easyJet flights as part of a package holiday as had flights cancelled twice now and each time have to go through a very lengthy call with TUI to rearrange our holiday. Flying to Rhodes in April. Booked with TUI in September flying from Luton. Told in December that flight cancelled. Rebooked to fly with EasyJet from Gatwick. Told yesterday that rebooked flight has also now been cancelled !!

Hi, does anybody know the route they take when dropping guests off at their hotels only asking because if my hotel (Best Tenerife) is last drop off i will probably cancel the coach and order a taxi from the airport to the hotel in Playa De Las Americas, many thanks Bob.

Just had EasyJet advise they've cancelled the Bristol to Sharm El Sheikh flight for 5th Feb, with no explanation or apparent reason. Something clearly going on!

Guest : I've just been informed my Egypt holiday 2nd February 2022 from Bristol is cancelled, they did this at Manchester Airport too. Prices have dramatically gone up. Seems a good interest free loan to tide them over and get prices up. DISSAPOINTED easyjet to say the least. Going to loose credibility. Me too!

Just beware the old days of taking oversized luggage on for free are gone. EasyJet are checking luggage very thorough and making people pay. I’ve seen a lot of arguing between customers and staff and in the end the staff say pay or your not flying.

Hi. We are flying with EasyJet and there are 3 adults and a 14 year old. We would like to have extra legroom seats in row 29 which is a fire exit. Will the 14 year old be allowed to use this seat?

Happened EXACTLY the same thing to me and my family in our way back home from Bordeaux to Lisbon (flight 7658) in the 31st of December! My daughters were crying out loud and we had absolutely no help to fill the PLF. And when I asked the names of the staff members, to file a complaint, they refused to give it to me and didn’t show any ID badge. Is this even legal??? Disgusting attitude! Alice : They sent us an email in the days before our flight with everything to remember , no mention of passenger locator form! We thought it would be paper forms like our flight into Egypt, nope! Only online. No help from staff at desk, one employee just looked away as we begged him for help… refused to let us on. Closed desk as we were racing to get the online form done. Booked a new flight, received an email about preparing for our flight - mentioning the passenger locator form! We’ve had to spend money on hotels, rebooked antigen tests, and flights. No help from easyJet! They scammed us on the luggage, extra £100 spend there for carry on luggage… Will never fly with them again

On the Gatwick to Marseilles flight 9 January, EZY 8727. Nothing heard yet about being cancelled but no bookings being taken. When telephoned was told they might be full! Any news?
