Piece of * airlines,don't book with them.charged £50 for being 1 kilo overweight on hand luggage that was only 5 kilo,which they didn't tell us.also on way back had 2 wait 2 hours 4 our bag back with no telling us what was going on or given us a time.

I think everyone flying now has struck it lucky, Olympic are no longer using small planet and the flights that they have changed to seem to be scheduled and taking off on time - Hope I still think this tonight!

Have just contacted Olympic holidays regarding changes to my flight for my holiday to Zante from gatwick on 25th August. I spoke to a customer service rep and expressed my dismay that i only found out about these changes by checking my booking details on-line at the advice of someone else on this forum. She said that Olympic are in the process of informing everyone of these changes as a number of flights have been changed in the last few days and will take time to notify everyone. I also asked her if my tickets are valid for the new flight to which she replied they were not and that if i did not receive replacement tickets that i should contact them again and arrange to pick them up at Gatwick. When i expressed my anger and concerns about arriving at an airport without tickets she put me through to their ticket agent who then advised me that new tickets were not going to be issued as the current ones would be accepted at check-in. Olympic are useless, have booked with them before but now never again.

NEVER AGAIN Actually, you are really VERY fortunate! I fly to Cyprus on business on a regular basis and ALWAYS fly Cyprus Airways...they are superb! Looks like Olympic have accidentally struck lucky here!

Dear All Have just returned from Larnaca, Cyprus to Gatwick having booked through Olympic. Small planet Airways were due to operate the outbound flight but it was rescheduled for 13HOURS later with Cyprus Airways and on the way back, the delay was 4 hours, again with Cyprus Airways. That makes a 7 night holiday only 6 nights and all for the amazing refund of £30 per adult. I wouldn't trust Olympic Holidays as far as I could spit at them and for those of you travelling in the next few days, I would check your itinerary online right up until the last minute. Change travel company if possible as total shambles and they couldn't care less about their customers. Its blatantly obvious that Small Planet airlines cannot cope with the contract they have with Olympic and its you the passenger who will suffer.

Just checked Olympic Holidays and their flights to Skiathos are now with Cyprus Airlines instead of Small Planet? Has anyone been told the reason why by their travel agent or Olympic Holidays???

I haven't contacted them as they aren't available today, I have printed off the new flight nos, and will give them a ring on Monday to see what they have got to say - if I can get through that is, but I do think it's ok and perhaps it may even be better than relying on small planet.

service was amazing on the 737-300. an old plane though, window seems were worn, seats were nice, leg room was great. service was exelent. however, we had quite extreme turbulence and through a thunder storm. hot meals were served during flight and food quality was good.

Just spent a week in parga and was dreading the flights after reading the horror stories about Small Planet airlines. However I am pleased to say the flights both ways were absolutely fine. No delays either way and the staff were friendly and helpful. No complaints at all.

Guest : just noticed that Olympic have changed the flight from Gatwick on the 12th at 21.30 from small planet to Smart wings flight no QS 3052, only found this by just checking the booking, if you were on the flight P7465 check you booking on line and see if it has been changed.

Thanks for your advice to check my booking as i have just found out that my flight from Gatwick to Zante on 25th August has changed from Small Planet to Smart wings leaving 25 minutes late which i must say i am happy about having read these appalling reviews for the last few weeks, however i am not happy that they Olympic have not contacted me regarding these changes also i am apprehensive as i am sure that they operate different aircraft therefore carrying a different number of passengers.

they haven't described it as anything only found it out by checking the online booking I made. Don't know where to check in though as there is no Smart Wings desk at Gatwick I assume the check in is still the small planet desk - who knows - what fun!

Hi We were telephoned at 5.30 the night before we were due to fly to skiathos from Gtwk with SPA thru Olympic 19/7/13 and told that there were problems with greek airports and our flight was going to be delayed. Would we mind changing to Monarch which was due to leave 2 hrs earlier. Not really an option so agreed and turned up at Gatwick to find no one knew anything about us, eventually got seats and then that flight was delayed with technical problem and the SPA flight left on time. We had to go via the mainline too so even later getting into skiathos. No rep to meet us, but to stick to SPA issues and not holiday (of which there were many!) Our return flight we were told was going to be at least 3 hrs delayed. It was and we went for the scenic tour via the mainland again on a spanish airline (who were very good and roomy). Finally got a response from Olympic rep at airport who said that SPA were supposed to have delivery of 2 airbuses in April but only had one to support its 2 other smaller planes. They were expecting it 'any day now'. Basically 1:3 flights will therefore be delayed and we were bumped off our original flight as it was too small a plane. The rep didn't think it a problem as none of the delays were more than 8 hrs. When suggested they should address this issue now and not wait for the plane I was told it would be too expensive for them to do that. So great consideration for customers who are unwittingly booking non-existant flights to Greece. To hell with the fact that we have saved our hard earned cash for this one week a year to sit at an airport most of the first and last days. GET THAT COMPENSATION ALL OF YOU DUE IT OLYMPIC SHOULD PAY.

Booked a holiday with Olympic via Secret Escapes to Crete not knowing at the time what airlines would be used. On the outward flight on Tuesday 30th July the plane didn't turn up so after a delay of four and half hours Gatwick managed to get a contract signed to charter another plane from Sam airways which had to be brought from Milan. Problem was this plane was smaller than the first so the last 35 passengers to check in couldn't be accommodated on the plane and had to be flown on another route to the opposite side of Crete and endure another 4 hour taxi journey to get to their destination. On the journey home another airline was used and thankfully there was only 10min delay. I would steer clear of Small Planet and Olympic. I will be making a complaint against our rep at the hotel as she was a nasty piece of work. HEQ8C

Must've been lucky. Flew Gatwick/Larnaca 24/7-7/8. Took off half hour late landed early. Return took off 15 mins late landed early. Was bricking it before going to the point if getting tranquillisers because of what I read about unsafe planes etc. All fine but good luck to those travelling! Not sure it's worth the worry of booking Olympic next time.

Sounds a nightmare. We are due to fly to Kefalonia at 5.30 tomorrow morning. I will tell u smth: im working in handling at gtw: Small planet has only 2 a./c here, the rest flights on their codes are not operating by them, and charterer - Olympic are just liars and telling ppl they will be flying on Small planet even if they know that its not true! small planet has some delays, but more problems are with olympic and meridiana - they are those who are selling 190 seats for flight which actually has only 180 seats available!

Flew with them yesterday fr om lgw to Kos, i have been following this forum since June and waS dreading this flight. Pleased to say it went really well. Would of left early but 2 passengers wh ere late-why do peoPle do this, everyone else manages to read the info screens! Anyway, all good, food and drinks trolley went round twice and sweets on landing. Wouldn't use again out of choice due to worry beforehand, but for everyone on this flight- it does the Manchester leg to it is fine. Julie.

Been told that our P7486 small planet plane will actually be a HRM9879 plane. Leaving 6 or so from HER to LGW. This shortens my holiday by 9hours, with a 4 hour delay coming out we actually lose a days holiday. Thanks Olympic !!! Will never book thru you again. Sod your ?60 discount on future holidays. I have NEVER had to worry about flights on a holiday before like I have on this holiday. Its been the subject almost everyday. Olympic you need to do something about this before you go under........ I count your days as nobody will be booking with next year for a holiday.... Your days are numbered!!

Just returned from zante 1-8 August from birmingham. Airline grand cru outbound were fine although plane rather scruffy. Inbound to birmingham on Cyprus airways which. Hae to say was a lovely flight with complimentary in flight meal and a film to watch! ..................no delays.........................

We flew to kos from Manchester with Small Planet in June and the flights were fine they left on time if not a bit early and the plane was clean. This was a replacement for a Monarch flight and was nothing to do with Olympic. After reading this thread it seems like the problems are with Olympic Holidays rather than Small Planet.

Having been delayed for 20 hours and the way in which we were treated and how the situation was handled i can't think of a worse airline. Even when we did get on the flight they were less than willing to give us any sort of complimentary treatment. I will certainly not be considering using them ever again, disgraceful service all round Guest : Reps are the last to get information and what is given to them is almost always wrong so dont take it out on them. Dont shoot the messengers. As for Small Planet - Ive seen worse, travelled with and worked with. The rep at the airport represents the tour operator, not the airline.........and they rely on getting info from their operations department. Which often amounts to both halves of naff-all. Take it up with Olympic - the more people that vote with their feet, the better the chance they wake up and do something about it!

Just found out from the rep that we are now flying with cyprus airways but should be same time etc. Guest : Anyone heard of any problems with 15.55 from zante to birmingham tomorrow? Had a missed call today I didn't recognise but can't ring it back. Probably nothing but just wanted to check. Thanks
