We are now being put up in a hotel in Kos over night, being picked up at sometime in the morning to catch ferry to Rhodes, then have to travel to Rhodes airport to be picked up by a bus that will take us to our hotel. Instead of arriving at 3:15am on Sunday 23rd June we will now lose a whole day travelling and won't arrive until approx 5pm Sunday night. Anyone else got the same issue? We are all inclusive at our 5* hotel in Rhodes but no one can tell us what hotel or if there will be food available!

Sitting in th departure lounge at Gatwick. Flight P7 0353 to Skiathos was to have departed at 07.35 but on checking in we were informed the flight was delayed until 13.10. No apology. No explanation. Bring on the EU denied boarding regulations.
MAN - LCA. £103.00 return. Small plane, left time, yes the service was slow but friendly staff. Didn't get charged for an excess in baggage , 1.2kgs. Return from Larnaca delayed by 40mins. Service slow again but medical attention needed for a customer. I would ise again as really great late booking price and good flight times.
Just returned from a week in Kos flying both ways with Small Planet from Manchester.Both flights were on time leaving (A320) and early arriving.Clean, pleasant and no problems whatsoever.Would fly with them again.
I travelled from Manchester to Kos on 6th June and returned today and had no problem with small planet airlines at all. Our flight was changed by Monarch and I was concerned after reading reviews on the Internet but I didn't need to worry. The plane was an airbus and was clean and in good condition. The cabin crew were foreign but the pilot was English on both journeys which is surely the most important thing! The crew were friendly and helpful. They served drinks and snacks and hot toasties very similar to Easyjet or Ryanair. Both flights went on time and the return one got us back to Manchester early. Hope this helps.
I flew on the flight from manchester to chania 11th june to 18th both went more or less on time about 17mins delay going out that was all was a good overall flight, planes old but all fine service and drinks fine, nothing to complain about so for people who are reading horror stories, not all are, hope this puts some peoples mind at rest

I can't see why people complain about this airline so much I love it!. Went to Kos last year with my parents with this airline. We had a slight 2 hour delay due to the wind but we ad no delays on the way back and the plane took off almost instantly. The food is delicious and the seats were so comfy even I fell asleep on them and I never normally can fall asleep on planes unless they're on the ground. The crew was so friendly and helpful. there was a bit of air turbulence problems on the way back and There was a little girl behind me kicking my seat but you can't blame the plane for that so I would give this airline a great 10\10!
Anyone got any further with their compensation for P7371 LGW - LPA on 2nd June? I have had no luck at all!! Complained the day after the fiasco after much needed sleep - only just had an acknowledgement from Monarch stating 28 days to resolve!! yet nothing at all from Small Planet. Have even tried to contact the CEO via linked in and not even a response from him. Crazy really seen as were in the 21st century?!!? Small Planet = BIG RISK. Companies such as Monarch, AVIOS, BAA, etc should be ashamed of doing business with this SHAM of a company

The delayed 13.50 flight to Gran Canaria on 2nd June 2013. Small Planet Airlines may now be attempting to blame an unexplained technical fault, but at the time they put passengers up in the Hilton, the Serviceair staff handed out letters, from Small Planet Airlines Customer Service Department, indicating that the delay was due to a "Crewing " issue. They can't have it both ways!!! I have also written to the Airline but as yet have not received a reply. I have also written to Monarch, as they took my original booking and have advised them that, in the event that Small Planet fail to comply with the terms of EURegulation 261/2004/EC, then I will pursue Monarch for the costs incurred due to the delay. I have not yet heard from Monarch despite writing to their Customer Service and to their Press Office.
We flew to Gran Canaria 9/6/2013 and were suprised not to be too delayed having read reviews beforehand. However service was awful, staff very unfriendly and plane was old an tired. Return journey however was a different story! Delay as no Small Planet plane available so Titan airlines were called into assist and take us home. Staff were brilliant, very friendly and somewhat embarassed thet they were only able to serve a cheese & ham toastie, pepsi, pepsi max or water because they were given nothing else to offer us. The plane was great and very spacious, and even with the limited options the staff made it a far more pleasant flight so cant priase them enough. What was more shocking was that we had been given no explanation prior to boarding and there was no rep to meet us to explain or apologise! I would never ever go through this company again, but should i ever fly from stanstead would definately explore Titan!
Flew to gran canaria 9/6/13 with about a 35 minute delay plane old quite dirty the two female cabin crew were ok quite tolerant really as two kids where driving them mad constantly pressing the call buttons there was also a male crew member who didn't know how to smile.return journey 16/6/13 we were told of a small delay which turned out to be an hour reason being there was no small planet plane,small planet had to get another plane from stansted which happened to be a different class (Titan airways) which I would recommend cabin crew friendly comfortable plane apologising for the plane being delayed.we were told a small planet representative would explain why the plane was delayed and why another company was used dont think I would use small planet again but defiantly titan

Can only speak from personal experience. Flew from Exeter to Verona on 2nd June and returned on 9th June. No problems at all with SPA. Flights on time, cabin crew most efficient.
We flew to Malta with this airline and had no problems at all. I had read posts and bad reviews and was worried about our holiday. We even got home early. Like all airlines even the big ones they all have delays at times.
Looks like we may be flying Atlantic Airways instead of Small Planet on the 21.15 Gatwick - Rhodes. Hope it's on time and as good as you say!
Flew back from Skiathos yesterday supposed to be Small Planet but found was now Atlantic Airways. We had a fantastic flight loads of leg room, free toasted sandwich , free bar drink and free tea/coffee . We also arrived over an hour early at Gatwick as no refuel stop So who knows what happened to Small Planet as they never took us to Skiathos either that was Enter Air! So all keep your fingers crossed they keep substituting with Atlantic Airways
Got an answer from Small Planet today, following my claim for compensation. Guess what? and I quote directly "The aircraft assigned to operate the flight suffered an unexpected flight safety shortcoming. This flight safety shortcoming appeared due to sudden technical failure of a component of the aircraft's fuel system, that could not have been predicted or forseen. The aircraft was regularly serviced and checked in accordance with the approved aircraft maintenance program and there was no indication of the problem during the preceding weeks flights. Whilst our engineers worked on resolving the issue, alternative options to operate on schedule were sought. To mnimise the delay the Airline searched for a replacement aircraft with several Brokers. An alternative aircraft was sourced from another air carrier, which positioned into Gatwick to operate the flight. Despite taking all reasonable measures to operate on time, there was unfortunately a (sic 6 hours) delay to the schedule. In the case of extraordinary circumstances, the airline is released from a duty to pay compensation to passengers.... They also go on to state that they gave us welfare vouchers - untrue. How on earth can they claim that the technical fault was not predictable, when this seems to happen nearly every day? Exrtaordinary? No - extremely common. See you in court Planet Airlines. My humble advice - steer very clear of this bunch

The NIGHTMARE begins firstly delayed until 14.35 no problem at all with that.We all were called to the gate the plane was in view on the tarmac cases loaded ready to go or so it seemed we couldn't have been more wrong.At 1500 we were told there was no cabin crew available this changed after 15 minutes to no 1st officer at this time we were also told to leave the gate and return to the departure lounge.So arriving back there we were told by a airport working that a rep from small planet was coming to meet us all and explain the problem at 16.20 well ive got more chance of shitting in the queens handbag than that however at 17.25 after countless phone calls from passengers a swissair rep appeared and started dishing out £6 vouchers to everyone on the flight also he dished out sarcasm rudeness and no one was now in the mood to take grief off someone who clearly didn't give a monkeys about us !! 1730 came when we were promised another update this never came but at 1845 the police did because the rep now couldn't handle one lad who was clearly getting to him rather loudly !! Anyway the police seemed to get the ball rolling a bit as tensions were rising.More vouchers then appeared this time to the value of £10 a decision was promised at 10pm which we got about 9pm a night in the Hilton and a flight at 6am.Checked into the Hilton about 11pm and was up to check back in for the flight at 3.30am ouch !! On arriving back into the terminal the flight was delayed until 8am this time no plane no I ain't joking ! People now were tired and sick to death of the lies and * so descended on the desk at the departure lounge again !, same thing happened police called etc someone was about to explode there were young lads with family's who wouldn't have been out of order in lumping people quite frankly but seemed to keep cool considering the situation !! Now this is wh ere gatwicks terminal manager said enoughs enough and tried to sort something out for us which isn't really in his job description anyway miracles do happen we got a plane and a crew which was due to take some other poor people to Corfu at 950 we took off at 1015 and arrived to our destination 21 hours late god knows what happened to the Corfu lot please don't ever use this company you've got more chance on red rum winning the 2014 grand national !!

Iat check in for my 05 30 flight," I was told ,therwe is a 6hr delay to the flight,and was given a £10 pound voucher for myself and my girlfriend.Si hrs passed by ,still no sign of being allocated to a gate number Again,told ."Sorry the flight is delayed by another 2hrs due to a technical fault on the plane. This went on at the same interval of delay. Given another lot of vouchers. Eventually our plane arrived after a delay of 12hrs 40min. All the passengers by now thoroughly pissed off,and very * .ZMMWF No price list for refreshments on the plane,hardly any apology for the severe delay either Iwas charged £11 50p for two small bottles of red wine.What a rip off !! IT is currently on it's way back from Kefalonia to GAtwick and is due to land 15 mins early. Never ever fly with Small Planet. We booked with Olympic holidays and although I has never heard of small planet we paid and were happy. On three occasions before the holiday started Olympic Holidays phoned to say the airline had changed the flight time and we were given a final departure time of 05.55am from gatwick to santorini at check in we were told of three and a half hours delay due to the airline not having available crew. We were given meal vouchers. We finally got called to the gate and placed in buses which took 12 mins to reach the plane, there was a gasp and looks of horry when people saw the plane it was awful, it was not the plane or colours that small planet advertised. Since arrival I have e mail Olympic holidays, Facebook messages small planet and ask in the resort rep several times about the flight home and no one will answer the question. All our rep can say is I will let you know "of the amount of delay" on Monday ..... Not much confidence there then. The flight was terrible, the seat broke mid flight, the staff tried but did not have much grasp of English language, the captain was not understandable. Before people think I am just a moaner I booked with Olympic al the while and had great flights with Strategic airlines and Tor Air on many times and never needed to complain once. Before booking I suggest you try and read the questions being asked of the airline on its Facebook page and think carefully. Pay more and fly with someone reputable. Sadly the whole saga has put me off holiday again with Olympic ( before anyone says that this is not the fault of the Olympic holidays I would like to point out that - Olympic choose the airline to fly their clients on and therefore they are partly responsible for the shambles.) Horrific!!
I was due to fly out of Skiathos on 7th June 2013 with Small Planet. When I got to departures there was no indication of the flight anywhere. When I asked what was happening I was informed that 'due to a problem' the flight had been transferred over to Enter Air - apparently a Polish outfit. The aircraft arrived late and we had to fly to Thessaloniki to get more fuel - Skiathos airport is small and fully laden aircraft cannot get off the short runway. So with a light fuel load we flew to mainland Greece. We were told that we would be on the ground for 15 - 20 minutes before taking off for Gatwick. That 15 -20 minutes became nearly an hour and we eventually got to Gatwick at around an hour and a half late. The aircraft a 16yr old Boeing 737 was a bit tatty inside but the staff were pleasant enough. There were no alcholic drinks on board and nothing to eat. The change in flight was not mentioned on any public address at Skiathos and caused a lot of confusion with several passengers getting on the plane very late
Has anyone had confirmation that the Las Palmas to London Gatwick Sunday 9th June 2013 is still happening? I have tried emailing and phoning small planet but have had no response! I have just looked at their flight out of Gatwick today and it just says check with airline instead of charter flight! Be grateful for any info!
Sorry, misread your original note thought you were flying fr om Gatwick on the 9th. We're due to flay to Zante on the 9th, but not holding out any great hope! Wh ere are you stuck.
