Guest : It is appalling that people aren't being informed of changes & we are only finding out by checking online ourselves - even worse if the airport is changed. Have you been moved onto Germania? If so, on the positive side, I have only read really good reports on them so, like Cyprus Airways, are a much better option than Small Planet. They should continue with flights from Bham though, it's not right that they aren't providing what people booked for. Does anyone know the legality of what they are doing if we hadn't looked on lone we wouldn't even know also work is affected as its a day over can we get a refund I'm sure they are not legal.

I am a travel agent and there are no flights to Greece available to sell from Birmingham past the end of August so it looks like all the flights are cancelled past this date

I have been watching the flights from Bham for the past few weeks as was worried about Small Planet. Cyprus Airways started operating them a couple of weeks ago & so I checked my booking on line & my flight has definitely been changed to them. Cyprus Airways are definately operating from BHAM until the end of Aug but I'm not sure what is happening from September sorry Guest : How do you know Cyprus airways have taken over from smalllanet from Birmingham do hope you are right , we fly out on the ninth September so fingers crossed.

So so relieved that Cyprus Airways are currently operating what should have been Small Planet flights from Birmingham.........now I can look forward to going on holiday on Thursday instead of dreading it. One thing I have learnt from this stressful experience is that this has been e first & the LAST time I ever book with Olympic Holidays. Back to Thomson & Thomas Cook for me from now on.

Got to Gatwick to fly with this airline I've never even heard of in my life. Only to be told at the check in desk that we're not on the system. Picked at random they downgraded there shitty little plane and picked people at random who wouldn't be flying out. The most we got was £30 compensation each which I'm still waiting on! We then had to fly out to Bristol the following day. BRISTOL. 18 hours taken away from our holiday. Thank god we flew out with easy jet and not bloody 'small planet' shocking dickheads!

The reason Small Planets have improved is because they are apparently no longer serving Olympic Holidays. Therfor, they are no longer overstretched. We were due to fly with Small Planets to Skiathos from Gatwick through Olympic Holidays on 2nd August. Our tickets had not arrived on time so we had to collect from the airport on the day. Our flight number changed a few days before we were due to fly out. We were not informed of this by Olympic, but discovedit when looking up on our online booking page! We flew with Livingston on the way out and Travel Services on the way back,both fantastic flights. There was confusion at the airport on the day as the departure board showed both our original Small Planet Flight number and also the Livingston flight numbers, and staff at Gatwick didn't seem to know what was going on! However, all was sorted and we only had a 1hr and 30 minute delay outbound, and no delay on return! Mr Burt : Olympic holidays have changed our fights to Rhodes Greece 3 times since booking , Livingston airlines JN ? , Small Planet and now with Travel Service . We are getting very worried as we cannot find any reviews about this airline from people' who have travelled with them especially the delays and comfort of the flight . Please can you help Thank you

Steve : Guest : I wish he was on the both delayed flights I was on, and the return flight plane STANK!!! You were one of the lucky ones!!!!98% of people cant be wrong. Peter : I would just like to say that after reading other reviews my wife and I flew with Small Planet with some trepidation to Prevesa in Grecce on the 1st August returning on the 15th. Most of the reviews I read were terrible infect one of them mentioned being in Gods hands. Another mentioned the planes being old and smelly and the staff being rude and uncaring. All I can say is what a load of rubbish both flights were as good if not better than some we have been on. Whilst the plane might have been old it did not smell and the air crew were all very nice. Admittedly the pilot was a bit hard to understand he did communicate quite regularly where a bouts we were etc and coming home we landed 25 mins ahead of schedule. I am writing regarding delayed flights P7 371 and P7 372: Outbound flight P7 371 on 26/05/2013 from London Gatwick to Las Palmas, Gran Canaria with the scheduled departure time of 13:50hrs. This flight arrived 12.5 hours late at Las Palmas, Gran Canaria. Also return flight P7 372 on 02/06/2013 from Las Palmas, Gran Canaria to London Gatwick with the scheduled departure time of 18:50hrs. This flight arrived 21 hours late at London Gatwick. Anybody had any luck with claims or more information regarding the above flights as my claim with Small Planet has been rejected due to "extraordinary circumstances" what rubbish, I understand from other forums that letters were issued to some passengers detailing staff shortages, anybody got a copy they could forward please. Have referred my claim for outbound flight to the CAA, but not had any luck with the return flight as this has to be referred to the Spanish Authority (seguridadaerea.es)

To be fair that wasn't any fault of Small Planet. It would have been an aborted landing or "go around" caused by another aircraft failing to clear the runway in time. Air Traffic Control would have given the order to go around. It happens every single day and is completely normal. We have just returned from Crete with small Planet. I have to say I was very worried having read these reviews. But our flights from Manchester to Chania were 20 mins early both ways, yes the plane was fairly old but was clean and the staff were friendly, food and drinks etc were all fine. I would use this company again ( Monarch flight on same date 13th Aug, was delayed 7hrs!!!)

We flew LGW to corfu 9th aug, return 16th aug. Only 1 hour delay going out and arrived back 15 mins early. Planes were fine, seemed a bit older but clean.Staff were ok.

I have exactly the same issue found out on here that my flight on Sunday has changed from Small Planet to Travel Services.Phone customer services told need new tickets put through to ticketing dept told don't need new tickets. Phoned again today and spoke to ticketing dept again who say they will email new tickets tomorrow. This is an absolute joke I fear that Iwill end up at the airport on Sunday with no tickets. Olympic seem to have no idea how to run a business.Has anyone actually recieved the correct tickets or have they managed to travel using their old ones after a flight change? I have been advised that new tickets will be required for any flight changes, however on Monday was told that new tickets would not be required. What a crock of * Olympic are. Matt : Small Planet Airlines are definitely still operating. I'm due to be flying with them to Kos in September and having seen this forum I was getting worried about the flights. (Not scared of flying, just scared of my holiday being messed up!). Having looked around the web I found and downloaded an app on my iPad called 'Flightradar24 Pro' (only about £2) which shows virtually all the planes in the air right now. You can search by airline and see all the Small Planet planes and where they are right now. As I type this there are 5 SPA flights/planes showing up. One flying from Manchester, one on the ground at Gatwick, one from Turkey, one from Athens and another one.Me too !! I hope they're still operating in September or they'll have to find us a different flight ! Doesn't guarantee my holiday is ok, but it is at least reassuring to know that they are up there!

Sister's flight back from Rhodes on Sunday is apparently going to be Travel Services... not Small Planet! I know they lease planes to other airlines...

[Hi we have just booked on the P7387 Gatwick to Palma for Sunday 25th August at 1400. Is this the flight you are talking about? I don't even know which airline this is with as booked via 'On The BEach'. Do you know? Anyone on the flight p7387 from Gatwick to Palma Majorca? Cannot see it listed anywhere..

Small Planet Airlines are definitely still operating. I'm due to be flying with them to Kos in September and having seen this forum I was getting worried about the flights. (Not scared of flying, just scared of my holiday being messed up!). SPA flights seem to be being changed at Gatwick and not Manchester... I thought SPA only had 2 planes in use in the uk? A 737 and an Airbus?

SPA still flying - right now one of their aircraft is on its way back from Crete to Manchester. SPA flights can be prefixed with 'P'which is the IATA code or 'LLC' can also be used - it's the ICAO code.

My sister booked a holiday to Rhodes with Olympic - her airline changed from Strategic, to Livingstone, to Small Planet and eventually flew with Privilege. She's heard rumours that Small Planet have ceased flying. Find it interesting that the airline code listed on Gatwick site for Small Planet is LLC but their flights arriving there today are prefixed with a P. trying to find out if she will be returning on Small Planet or swimming back!

Flew back from Corfu with Travel Service Airlines this morning. Was supposed to be Small Planet (who we flew out with) but were told on the bus to the airport that our flight has been changed to a different operator - times etc all remained the same. No new tickets were issued. The rep said there were "operating difficulties" in the past and that Olympic holidays had cancelled their contract with Small Planet. Plane took off when expected and landed slightly earlier than scheduled. We then had to sit on board for 15 minutes before they could find someone to drive the bus at Gatwick as we parked miles away from the terminal. Aircraft was a 737-800, not an Airbus 320. Appeared to be slightly more leg room. Cost of services on board were about the same. Crew probably a bit more friendly. Prebooked seats were still allocated. No fuss really.

I received our tickets for our holiday to Zakynthos 1st September last week. Thanks to this forum I have just checked our booking and our flights have been changed to Travel Service Airlines. I have checked them out and they seem to have a younger fleet, but no feedback. As expected Olympic have not informed us of the change! Have just spoken to Olympic and apparently they are not issuing new tickets (although they have time to email them), the original ones will be accepted. Has anyone flown with them yet?

Correct its a Smart Wings flight scheduled to leave GTW at 09:10 this morning ( 13th Aug ) . Lets see what time it finally gets off ground from Heraklion Guest : In Crete and due to fly to GTW tommorrow . Had email from Olympic Customer Services that our flight will be handled by Travel Services and will be Inbound to Heraklion 50 odd minutes early

Guest : I think everyone flying now has struck it lucky, Olympic are no longer using small planet and the flights that they have changed to seem to be scheduled and taking off on time - Hope I still think this tonight! WRONG,SPA doing corfu run from Gatwick twice today

I have just phoned Olympic as I am due to fly to Zante on Sunday and the airline and flight has been changed and I have been told that new tickets will be emailed to me as the old ones are no longer valid as the flight is with a different airline. Apparently as the change happened over the weekend they have not had time to notify people of the changes. Another thing to worry about now as I had been relieved to have tickets at least but now they are no good and will have to wait and worry for them to get round to send out new ones. Just hope that my holiday is worth all the stress and worry of the last few weeks looking at this forum!
