Terrible airline all around. Avoid at all costs. Flight was 12 hours late due to their rickety old airplane being deemed unfit to fly. That's just the way it is, they said. Backstory: Needed to make an important afternoon meeting in St. Petersburg and bit the bullet and bought the ticket on the morning flight that cost twice as much as all the others flying later in the day. We boarded. The plane looked ancient and terrifying, but ok, whatever. It goes out to the runway, and then some men come out and start fiddling around under the wing, open up the engine. We sit there for an hour on the runway watching them. Then they inform us the plane cannot fly. We're brought back to the terminal to wait for another 5 hours while they find a plane that can fly. Then, due to missing all earlier connection flights in Minsk, another 5 hours in the airport there. End result: spent twice as much on a ticket only to be 12 hours late. No compensation offered. Rude staff. They don't have numbers (except ticket offices that don't provide any information except for ticket purchases) outside of Belarus, so if you want to call you have to pay through the nose to call to Minsk. If you want to complain, you have to send a regular letter to Minsk. In my case, they then sent a letter to my home address saying "oh well so sorry, looking forward to your business next time." I didn't even have it so bad--I just lost a couple hundred dollars and 12 hours. Others on the flight had connecting flights in Moscow to Central Asia on different airlines that they missed. I can't even imagine how much time, money and grief Belavia's rickety old planes and abysmal customer service cost them. Beyond that, the airline is mediocre in all ways--the seats, the food, the whole experience. From what I can tell, they make most of their money based on the fact that there are no direct flights between Russian and Ukraine right now and know they can do whatever they want. The whole experience is similar to a very cheap discount airline in the EU except without EU passenger protections and at the price of a regular airline. I'm avoiding them at all costs in the future, even if it means paying a bit more or a slightly longer flight time.

I would like to write about my experience with Airserbia. On 11 sept 2017 my flight was delayed from Beirut tp Paris for more than 1 hour, I have lost my connection to Paris in Belgrade.
However, I have been transferred to Slovenia with more than 6 hours of delay. I have also lost my train in Paris, and had to pay for another ticket.
My baggage were also delayed and they arrived after 4 day to me. The surprise I got ws that my baggage was also damaged.
I asked the company for a refund of my ticket of my flight and I also asked for an attestation from the company for the delay of the flight and the damage of the my bagages. Till now the company did not even answer.
However, during the flight, if you ask for a pillow or a blanket, you will get an aggressive answer from the personal telling you that it is only for the business class. When the person beside me asked for a cup of water, he also was answered by an aggressive way telling him that they need first to serve the business class and come back to him.
This is the last time I take this flight and I never recommend.

Just a follow up to my message sent octobre 2015: after two years now I confirm that SAA has no policy to compensate for lost bag and is not willing to proactively respect international laws by doing so. They simply don't care about passengers. I have finally fill a case to oblige them towards my country law authority.

Azul damaged my suitcase and will not take responsibility. I complained at the airport when i reached Vitoria and a pretend report typed I was told it would be sent to me by email. never happened so I did an online report which stated numbers I should contact and they do not work at all. If this Airline is covered by regulations, what are the regulators doing about this CRAP airline and why is this airline not providing correct customer service numbers for English Speakers!!???

PLEASE HELP ME!!! my name is Alfred Famiano Jr. I was on flight L6112 on Monday, October 09, 2017 from Nouakchott Mauritania to Dakar, Senegal then to Lagos, Nigeria. My Mauritanian Locator is: M9XTQ, my Recoerd Locator is: W8J297. When my flight from Nouakchott was late arriving in Dakar I was greeted by ground crew on the tarmac. They had my boarding pass for the next flight to Lome and then on the Lagos Nigeria. They told me I had no time to get my bag that the plane was waiting for me. They were very kind and said we will drive you to the plan, don't worry about your bag it will be in Lagos when you get there. I thought WOW THIS IS GREAT that they are going the extra step to help a customer get to his connecting flight especially when you read about all the bad press airlines are getting these days. Well when I arrived in Lagos my bag was nowhere to be found. The baggage people in Lagos took a report and said it would be there the next day. Today is the 12th and still no bag. I'm just being told everyday to come back to the airport tomorrow, I just don't know what to do. Nobody seems to care at all, they simply say it's not their problem it's the airlines problem. Spending three days in Lagos going back and forth the the airport is very frustrating especially when I was suppose to be on a pre-paid tour of the country and wearing the same cloths, plus I have eye medications in the bag as I have them taken away from my carry on the past at certain security check points. I really can't go too many more days without these drops (there for glaucoma) and keeping the ocular pressure down. I'm suppose to be in Lagos for another week, but not sure if I will be able to go that long without the drops. The tag number on the bag is L6358548. With today's technology and bar codes I can't believe it taking this long. It may just be sitting in a room in Dakar only an hour or so away. Can someone please help me. I travelled Hop air yesterday and inside the airline and checking in at the desk it was perfect. However I have a walking stick and walk well with it. I was more than surprised to be told at the boarding gate that I could not enter the aircraft early with other passengers who might need longer. I am a silver member of flying blu and this has never happened to me before. They said if I wanted to board early I should have asked for assistance but why inconvenience people like that if I can still manage. I dont want to travel with Hop again

My husband and I are Christian missionaries in PR for almost a year. We evacuated the day before Marie. We had to leave our car in the parking garage. I would like to know if the cost to park in the garage will be forgiven when we return. We have tried to get back to PR but our flights have been cancelled. It would be nice to have this bill forgiven due to the help that everyone is giving to PR. To help someone that wants to help others is needed. I was CONFIRMED with my husband on the flight Nice Rome August 28 to September 1st (confirmation DL792X (Blu-Express - Ref Booking : P1SWLZMX)
Arriving at the airport, impossible to be checked because the code booking our our flights (DL....) was different with the booking codes if the company Mistral Air (codes 365...) that was in charge of this flights
After 2 hours and half speaking by phone with your company (I tried to resolved the problem by phone and the responsable or the airport did the same), the place finaly took off, without us....
The booked hotel of course was debited on our bank account, the ticket was pepaid, the taxis to go and to go back the airport paid.... etc.
It is now more or less 3 weeks that this append and.... nothing !
Let me know what you intend to do to refund AT LEAST the air tickets (415 euros) the hotel (150 Euros), the taxis (80 euros), and our holidays that..... we didn't had !

They treat passengersas they see fit and appear to totally ignore EU rules on compensation for late flights or passengers who are refused boarding.

Upon arriving at the Hosea Kutako Airport last night, we joined the long queue for Namibian Citizens in the customs hall. A security guard approached us and asked that we join the much shorter Visitors queue as the entrance to the hall was being blocked. When arriving at the counter, though, the female officer was reluctant to take my passport and told me there is a separate queue for Namibians and asked if I can read. Upon explaining what happened, she retorted by saying that the security guard was not an official and did not have the authority to reallocate people to wrong queues. At that point I was getting quite annoyed - I informed her that there were a dozen or so Namibians behind me in the queue and whether she is saying that we in future should ignored security instructions. When she responded by saying in a loud voice: Why are you getting angry, why are you getting angry?, I decided not to say anything more. However, I do think that such behaviour is deplorable, disrespectful and derogative. This lady should be working at an isolated desk as far away as possible from the public: she is a disgrace to the Namibian Immigration authorities and the Namibian nation.

Amicus travel booked us on a flight for august 29 from uln to murun at 1 pm. On aug 26 they said the flight just changed to 545am. As we were staying 2 hours away from uln that was not acceptable to us to travel during the night on the roads etc . In the United States when airlines change schedules passengers can accept the change or not accept and cancel the reservation we were told we had no option but to go at 545 am or lose everything . I left Niue on the 8th August, the staff were rude when I checked in my luggage my carry on bag was 8kg and was told to transfer some of my items into checked bag, went back and it weighed 7.4kg and was told to transfer more items into checked bag.
I asked how much will it cost to just allowed it on and the customs guy said $120.
So I transferred more items into check bag and it was cleared.
I then went to get my ticket stamped and informed the people I did not have to pay the $80 to depart the airport and showed them the papers of my ticket.
They said they need prof that I purchased my ticket after july and that the paper ticket was not good enough. after speeding money on internet and showing bank statement and emails of after purchasing tickets online and 45mins later they stamped my ticket receipt of $80 paid. After boarding the plane my sisters friend who was sitting in front of me so I said hello :) , she told me that her carry on luggage weighed 12kg over the limit and the man at the airport who was her uncle told her don't worry about it, you don't have to pay anything just bring it on the plane.
I was shocked ! and couldn't believe how wrong it was....
There are so many people who pay for extra luggage and extra weight and to hear this is observed !
The attitude that these stuff members showed and then hearing they break rules to suit themselves is not on and will be making a formal complaint.

I have been waiting over 2 months for a refund of a holiday and I get the same automated email over and over again. I have tried to reach management. They have effectively stolen money from me after putting in writing that I am due the refund as the holiday was cancelled.

I booked my flight drom London to Larnaca on 11/05 . Somehow the booking was doubled and they took out twice money from my account. The other booking ha been canceld, i flew and come back from Cyprus but i still dont have refund on my money for the other booking. I am talking with their customer service team every single week and they are saying that in the next couple of weeks i should have the money back into my account. Thats been going on for 2 months now.
Be careful when you book your tickets and if you can pay by credit card. They are tottal scum !
