yup just had same cancellation for june 2021 to lanzarote. Promised refund so gone back on site and booked earlier date in June 2021 and booking accepted, so far - fingers crossed

I over a period of 7 years have had quite a few time now to have travelled with Jet2, I have been delayed at Manchester 2 times coincidentally both of those times were when Monarch and Thomas Cook went bust, so i my opinion Jet2 were making money while ruining my holiday but making Health and safety excuses, which if were even true were totally an issue with their own parts logistics but they are trying to worm their way out of both, but this isnt my main issue, my main issue is when they cancelled my holiday to Turkey and Hayes found me another Holiday in Rh0des, that was £710 dearer making the holidiay for 2 nearly £2.700 for 1 week all inc in October in possibly one of the worst hotels I have had the misfortune to stay in, it was given a 4+ star rating, I wouldnt give it 2, the food was poor and seemed to be rationed, the room was very poor our view was a wall, there was queue for everything I found I paid £1500 more than a guy who booked the same week as me with Jet2 same room type everything, nothing in the description actually was true, NOTHING, I feel I have been stolen from, and will never travel with this firm again, I have only one small peice of satisfaction, I will have a job in 6 months, I have nothing but contempt for them.
Time-off work sorted. Flights booked and now checked in. PCR test booked. Hotel booked. Car hire sorted. Drop-off to airport sorted. - Just need to know if the flight is going ahead. Clock is ticking and a statement from Jet2 would be appreciated. What are we waiting for? Are we hoping the Government changes its mind and says foreign holidays can go ahead? I just need to know one way or another. Its the uncertainty that makes this more stressful than it needs to be.

We have used jet2 alot .but we should have be flying to Cyprus on 24 October 20.20 but both myself and partner are to I'll to travel .we tried to change dates but was told we could not. So we have lost the cost of the holiday. I will never use them again .they were very unhelpful
got flights booked to canaries 5th November, they were booked in January. would not be able to go now because of quarantine, will jet 2 refund?

Jet2 whilst are a good airline absolutely disgraceful that they cancel flights from Izmir for October and then hike up the price of return flights from other Turkish airports. Why don’t you support your customers rather than charging 450 euros per person. Not everyone has that sort of money. Totally unethical and outrageous ....IreneSwietnicki

Turned up Faro airport on 3/10/20 only to find flight cancelled, no notification sent although they have my mobile and email contact information, no one to contact at airport or by phone, left in the lurch. Checked phone for boarding passes, they changed detail on return flight to an earlier flight, even though I have original passes, absolutely, despicable. How do I get in touch , with head office?

Hi guys booked a holiday literally 1 hour before they announced you had to quarantine on the way back from turkey, will they cancel the holiday how can I get my money back as I will not be able to get the time of work and I’m stressing.

Guest : Got the same. Telephone number text came from not visible. Card used for all payments hasn't changed be is valid. Previous texts were from Jet2 this us supposedly from Jet2.com. Certainly not using WhatsApp to provide updated details. Everything about it screams scam. They did have correct contact details.
Had an email from Jet2 to say we need to fill in a locator form 24 hrs before going to Turkey. Does this need to be uploaded somewhere or do we print out a form to take with us on flight? Thanks

Today my wife received a text from a mobile number saying that Jet2 have had trouble paying our refund and to get in touch with them. This sounds dodgy to me.. What do you think? Can't get through on the phone as no one is answering. I had the same, like others it was because my card had expired since booking. Filled in a secure form with the booking details (but not enough detail for a scammer to access it - they don't ask for DOB or date of departure, which you'd need to access someone's details via Jet2holidays website). They then told me the correct amount I was due and I filled in another form with my bank details. Two days later I received the refund. I was apprehensive though, because the phone lines were always busy and I would have preferred checking. Also, you can't navigate to the SMS page of their website without using the link in the text you suspect might be a scam. Jet2 need to sort that and have the SMS service link displayed clearly on their website.
It looks like Jet2.com have cancelled my flight at the end of Oct 20. I did not ask for this cancellation but their email suggests I did. I replied to Jet2.com customer service and was told their reply to me may take 21 days. My plans are up in the air (metaphorically speaking). Unrequited cancellation and no way to communicate to Jet2.com Help

Hi Tricia We too were flying out to Fuerteventura but on the 27th September . Jet2 contacted us today to cancel and to either offer us alternative holiday, credit note or cash refund. hi we are due to fly out on the 9th october to furteventura to florida apartments i contacted the florida yesterday they said there closed till new year due to covid jet 2 have sent our tickets and hotel voucher via email i cant get through to them to query this any advice do i just wait for them to cancel it if they do i have emailed them but no reply as usual

We had exactly the same happen with us. We didn't for a minute think Jet2 would behave in this way. Both of their staff I spoke to regarding our flights said they hadn't been informed of a change in the FCDO rules, which as you know made any insurance you had,null and void if you knowingly traveled to Portugal after 10th September.Basically told us if you don't fly the only option was to rebook and then they decided to give refunds on the 15th September. Their reason was,they said. Due to the change in the FCDO advice? Really disappointing they decided to treat their customers in this way.

Jet2 tell us the flight is still scheduled and they expect us to go against the govt advice and to travel without insurance. As a result we are not entitled to a refund of our £500+ flight costs. That sounds like 'robbery' to me!

Had two sets of flights booked with Jet 2 this year. Got a refund credit note for the first and a cash refund for the second when first Portugal did not get an air bridge and the Spain’s air bridge was taken away. Due to my experience I booked further flights to Portugal in the knowledge that if they lost the air bridge Jet 2 would give me a refund or credit note. Despite cancelling flights to countries with no air bridge, they have decided to continue to fly to Portugal against FCO Advice, leaving their customers with no adequate travel insurance. This means that many loyal customers like myself will just lose their money. Shame on you Jet 2. I thought that you were different from the likes of Ryan air ect and could be trusted. Clearly I was wrong.

Crystal : Please can anyone help Jet2.com have changed our flight times and as they’re not suitable for us we’ve had to cancel and have been advised by jet2.com that a full refund will be given We’ve received confirmation email over a week ago but today I received a text from Jet2 saying they’ve been unable to refund the card i paid with and I will short receive a SMS from a number (they give the number) so they can finish processing the refund. Now we’ve recently got new card but i’m sure any credit refunded back to original card would be transferred to new card. I have checked with card company who confirmed that they would never refuse any payment even if it was an olde card and they would transfer it across. I’m hoping somebody can advise if this has happened to them or do you like i think it’s a scam ? When and if any one rings me shall i just ignore and join the thousands waiting to get through on the phone to jet2.com or is a sms service operates bu jet2.com genuine? Thank you
