Guest : This morning I amended my holiday for 3rd July, had to pay £75pp to amend, 2 hours later they cancelled flight and put free amendments up, where do I stand as I’m very annoyedId phone them surely they will refund your amended fee as you done it just before the announcement came out! Keep on at them, hope you get it sorted

Guest : Guest : Is anybodys flights still going as normal to Cyprus from 1st July onwards? Any information from jet2 Jet2 told me on Friday that all flights and holidays are going ahead from 1st July, regardless of the 14 day quarentineCyprus are not allowing UK citizens in so don't understand how jet2 can still say we are going??

We were due to go away on the 17-6-20 but the holiday with jet 2 was cancelled all paid up in full impossible to get in touch tried to amend booking site will not allow this several emails no answer and a lifetime spent on the phone with no answer how long before I get my money back in full???

Amanda : Why have you doubled price flights for year 2021 when noone can fly 2020. Surely this is pricing you out of the market????my flights if to to change for next year have doubled!! Ridiculous

Guest : we were due to go on holiday to majorca on 10th July with 15+ people . We are having to cancel and accept our loss on deposits due to covid-19 . One party out of the group transfered £300.00 to the total cost of the holiday via Jet2 website. Would they lose this along with their deposit ? TIAmy son was due to fly on 26th July but decided to change until next year,had to pay £80 admin fee for change (him and girlfriend) but they moved his deposit over to new holiday

Guest : Has anybody had there flights cancelled after the 1st July or any information? Fco still saying none essential flights,14 day quartinne I got through yesterday for our holiday on 7th July to Menorca and the guy said we were still going! Not sure how but they won't refund it.

Jane : We are due to fly to Cyprus on the 4 july. Cyprus not accepting flights from the uk. When will Jet 2 cancel our flight? We are also due to fly to Cyprus 3rd July wanting to know when they'll let us know if its cancelled? Also do we get a cash refund

Sue hol to Majorca : Holiday 24th June cancelled, got text message 22nd May saying watch for emails. Got phone call on 27th May but missed call, then email sent by default I guess, with refund invoice. Balance of holiday refunded on 28th May but not deposit. Will wait and see if deposit comes my way and chase later on if need be. Know it’s difficult to make contact but they will get to you if your hols are cancelled. Read jet2 terms and conditions so you know what’s what if you yourself choose to cancel before they do! If you cancel before 12 weeks then you lose deposit only, closer to the holiday you get, the more you lose. I have another hol reserved for September and am pondering logging on to cancel before the final balance is due and lose the deposit as I don’t fancy Benidorm with any kind of restrictions ;) I’m so glad I’ve travelled with jet2 only for many years (dread to think what prices they can demand in future), well done jet2. we had the same email then phone call holiday cancelled part of money refunded still waiting for the £120 deposit , spose we just got to wait .

Robert McMaster : I am having trouble getting through via telephone and I want to cancel my holiday. I am within the time frame where I will only lose my deposit which I am fine with. My concern is that I can’t get through until 70 minus days and I lose 30% if my money. Does anyone have an email address or physical address I can write too to cancel?hi know frustrating but I kept ringing was on hold for over 2 hours yesterday but got through an was able to cancel holiday 👍 was very helpful

We were told flight cancelled 26th June but we could move flight at NO CHARGE we did this,moving it on 1 week but have incurred a charge! Emailed and KEEP ringing Jet2 but no one ever answers (have tried 3 times on hold over one half hours eveytime)!!!! Still not heard from them...anyone any help ideas to get to speak with them. Poor service, given lots on here saying their good :-(

we where due to fly to zante on the 20th of june . got phone call of jet 2 asking what we wanted to do as holiday now canceled.[gave 3 options.1 move holiday.2 credit note .3 refund. choose refund. all money back in our account in 3 working days. Guest : hi I have a flight on 19th june and they cancelled. So my problem now is What should I do? If i amend my flight on July I'm gonna pay the difference? Because the flight is more expensive. If I ask a refund how many years i have to wait?we had the same they phoned me i cancelled my booking they said i would be refunded in 14 days and i would get 2 refunds the deposit then the rest so im just waiting now

Hi. We had our flight cancelled by JET2, we were supposed to fly to Kefalonia on 17th June. We received an email on 22nd May confirming cancellation by them. We received another email on 27th May with attachments saying that the flight had been cancelled by us and that the total refund was £0.00. How is this right we paid upfront for the flights last August. In the statement on JET2 website it states that if they cancel the flight then they give a full refund. We cannot get through by phone and the email came back saying that they are not being monitored. How are we supposed to get answers?

Guest : Marine309 Hi, Has anyone else received an email from Jet2 saying the balance can be deferred until 6 weeks before departure in July. The last paragraph states the full terms and conditions still apply at the time of booking. We were due to pay in excess of £22k on 14th May (wedding in Greece that's been cancelled) if we were to take Jet2s advice and then cancel in June we would still be liable for 70% of this balance according to these terms and conditions. Is this yet another unscrupulous way of getting every little slice of our hard earned money into their coffers to then gain interest on it until they finally decide to refund anyway. Can't take the risk so cancelled all the bookings on the day the balance was due although it took 2 hrs to get into My Bookings. I'd rather lose our deposits than risk them taking our money when we all know that there is no way anyone in their right mind would want to go anywhere at the moment so why are they being sneaky and not cancelling all holidays this summer and refunding customers deposits.we have also received a email saying same thing for holiday mid August.not sure if we cancel with six weeks to go if we just lose deposit.very suspucious.

Guest : Hi we are supposed to be flying in August but want to change flights to 2021, this is possible on Web site but not possible when we want to change airport! This can only be done by phone and they aren't answering the phone. Any solutions?

Michael Shergold : We have been refunded £700 which was the deposit amount on our holiday but the remainder £824 paid in February 2020 is nowhere to be seen No contact at all From Jet 2 and no way to contact them and the holiday has since passed . Shocking that you can’t contact them to sort out what is going on with your outstanding money that they are earning interest on Same here but no insurance value , JET2 paying everyone in small bits

I have had my flight cancelled by them and that's great and everything seemed to be going okay but now I find they have just returned the £40 I paid later to reserved seats and the price of the flight £446 has not been refunded. Unable to get in contact with them. Everyone saying how good Jet2 are and I am sure it is a mistake unlike Ryanair's policy but it seems that I might be losing this £446 not good enough.

Liz adair : Just been told by jet 2 they can cancel my holiday but would lose my deposit, due to fly out on the 19th July, but know this will not happen, just asked if I could move my deposit for next year, awaiting reply. I enquired about doing this & they said No. Can't use deposit I have paid to re-book the same holiday for next year.

Just got a call from jet2 about a refund, very quick to reply as I only emailed them on Monday, they had returned the balance but not the deposit, the problem was sorted straight away and the amount will be back in the account in 4 to 5 days. Thank you jet2, none of this was your fault but in my opinion you handled it very well.
