Hi, Jet2 have cancelled my holiday to Gran Canaria, stating they’d provide me with a full refund in 14 days, this was the 16th of July. I have now received an email stating my booking is cancelled with a refund of £0.00 - and phonelines are closed - has anyone else had this issue?! Its absolutely disgusting.

To cancel your booking, all you have to do is log in to Manage My Booking and choose 'Cancel booking' on the menu. If you have any issues or need to speak to one of our friendly advisors, please call 0333 300 0702. The above is pasted from the Jet2 website. What a load of rubbish!! You are unable to cancel online and it's impossible to get through on the phone. Are they deliberately trying to take the full balance for holidays by denying the right to cancel?

Hi All, I have recieved an email from Jet2 stating that they have cancelled my holiday but there is no explanation to as why, I was due to fly in less than 2 weeks, frustrated is an understatement!! Has anyody had similar?

Christine Douglas : Hi You have just sent a message with regard to my flight, booking reference 27VTCY, but I have already e-mailed you to say I want to change the flights to May 2022. I have tried ringing you but no one answering , don't know what to do as the flight is a week Sunday 8th August. Please acknowledge my email Regards Christine Douglas seems like the only way to talk to them is by heading to the nearest airport.

I appreciate you guys are busy, but I cannot get through to anyone!? When I last rang in early July one of you call centre staff said that even if Turkey went to Amber, you would still not be flying and full refunds. I am due to fly Aug 26th and you have sent me all my vouchers ready for the holiday? Can Jet2 confirm their current position with Turkey holidays?

I had 3 phones runnimg the longest is 1 hour 14 minutes and still going. On the 3rd phone i dialed Option 1 (new bookings) they picked up within 10 minutes.

Have you been informed why yet? We’re due to fly in under 2 weeks and wondering if it will be cancelled Guest : Jet2 have just cancelled my holiday to Lanzarote with 3 days notice and no reason as to why. Booked and payed for all PCR tests money lost on that. Plus parking.

Hi....I have been trying to get in touch with Jet2 for the past month about changing dates of my holiday with no success..so I cancelled my card and had a new one and guess what...my payment for the holiday I booked for September is due and now Jet2 want to talk to me because my old card is invalid..I said I would be happy to pay any monies owing if I can change my dates to next year...I'm waiting for a phone call to rearrange my holiday...they don't like it when you owe money...hope this helps

Booked to go to the brand new chrysomare hotel in Cyprus late September. Is it open yet? The hotels website is taking bookings from November and says coming soon. Has anyone been? Or had anyone booked to go and Jet2 changed the hotel? September is a way off but as the chysomare hasn’t appeared on trip advisor just wondering if anyone knew if it’s up and running yet. Cheers.

Guest : thanks everyone for the tips. option 1 sales straight through and full refund from majorca. Never been so pleased not to go on holiday ! How did you manage to get a full refund? Is this due to yourself not wanting to go or government guidelines? Im wanting to cancel my holiday to Tenerife, due to fly on 30th august and have just found out they have gone into level 4 restrictions again so wont really be an enjoyable holiday.

TRYING TO GET HOLD OF JET 2 IS A BLOODY NIGHTMARE!! I want to do some add on`s to a holiday and pay some money but the manage my booking is not working! It keeps saying there is an error and to ring a certain number, when you ring and go through the options it sends us back to manage my booking!!... Losing all faith with Jet 2!!

I’ve never had a problem with Jet2 before and have used them for short haul destinations for years with no complaints. Having said that, I find the current situation incredibly frustrating. You can’t get them on the phone (I have spent hours hanging on over the past two days) and the website has a glitch, which means you can’t make changes. Come on Jet2, fix something!!!!

Mallorca is no longer on the green list, I want a refund or even amend to next year and the CEO promised everyone could get this free yet on their website it states it'll cost you £35 to amend. Are they deliberately ignoring customers calls or have they gone bust? Why aren't they answering their phones?

Today we selected the option of make a payment when calling and were put through to an advisor within 20 minutes of being on hold and have managed to cancel the booking!! Have Jet2 gone bust or are all their staff on strike. The time spent on the phone waiting for a response is ridiculous and costly. There is no way I can cancel a 2nd September without speaking to an advisor.

Similar to the previous post, I am in the exact same position with Jet 2 have already changed my holiday and now as it is again at risk for October want to cancel. They ask you to do so online but when I go to Manage my Booking, ask to cancel for a cash refund they ask you to call. How can you cancel when they will not answer your calls, have you hanging for hours and hours, don't respond to WhatsApp messages and are nearing 70 days before any costs are incurred to your refund....I am not hopeful of getting anyplace soon with them but kept all my communications as evidence when I first made contact

Jet2 cancelled my flight told me Ile get a full refund, it’s been 4 weeks and still not received anything (which they said is the maximum it would take). Can’t get through to them on the phone, email or WhatsApp. What’s the best thing to do?

I’ve been trying to get through to Jet2 for over a week now one call I spent two hours waiting to pick up before giving up. I need to either cancel my holiday or move it to next year. Now they’ve taken the final payment without my permission from my card and I still can’t get through to them to try and get my money back or cancel / move the holiday.

I have been on the phone to Jet 2 today for over 3 hours nobody's answering. Due to go to Spain mid September but want to change to September 22 why is nobody picking up. Appears staff have been instructed not to answer. Poor show Jet 2 very unprofessional.

I have received an email telling me that I can push payment of my holiday balance back by 4 weeks. However, I have spent the best part of the last two days trying to find the darned 'button'!! Where is it? :(
