Thanks for that, me and my wife and children where going to Fuengirola and flying to Malaga for 10 days, I will not be looking for a pc and printer I,m on Holiday. It good bye from me also.
Yes I totally agree,Don't use them, I have several Villas in the south of Spain and I fly all passengers to Malaga return, Last year I flew over 456 flights with Ryan Air return, But now its impossible for me to be sorting out return boarding passes. Money making scam. So its good bye from me also O'Leary.
Hi, Disgraceful, if you book longer than 7 days you have got to go and find a computer and a printer to print your return boarding pass. NOW if you are like my mother who is not computer savvy how the hell can she get her boarding pass. We print all this out usually for here before she travels, But from now on we cannot book with Ryan air. How many other air lines do this I do not know of any. MONEY MAKING SCAM OLEARY. DO NOT USE THEM MAKE OLEARY LISTEN. It should tell you all this before you pay your money, then you can make the decision or not to book with them. Never again for me and all my family O Leary.
Flying to Tenerife with Ryanair 27 April. Website won't allow unallocated seat allocation checkin until actual date of flight. Thought I could do this up to 7 days before departure.
In order to check-in WITHOUT paying for allocated seats, you have to check-in 7 days - 2hours before the flight. If you want to check-in and pay for allocated seats then you can check-in anytime from 30 days before the flight.
Guest : I am trying to do my online check in, which I have done many times before. It seems that I am forced to pay for allocated seating as the option for random free allocated seating is not available until April 24th. Is this correct? Let me just confirm we are speaking about the same problem. If your return flight is more than 8 days after your departure you cannot check in without paying for a seat on the return flight. Seems to me we should be permitted to check in just for the outward flight, if they wish to play this silly game of trying to force people to pay for a service they don't want. Otherwise its another scam from Ryanair to extract extra money from the people who keep them in business, otherwise known as "customers". I wonder if it is illegal?
Last year I was flying from sanstead to Sicily to visit my father who was terminaly ill. I had a small case that was smaller than the size allowed. I had a small hand bag with my tickets, purse etc in, I had a duty free carry bag with two box of chocolates roses in . I was told I had to put everything in the case. I did put my hand back into the case. However I did not put the chocolates in the case (I did not want them to squashes them) the young man at the gate told me as I had disobeyed I would not be flying that day.( I handed the chocolates to the ground staff at the gate and left them behind) When I got to the entrance of the plane had to unpack to get my tickets out. Once on the plane it was apparent they had over booked and one person was left standing. After a lot of arguing they found the gentleman a seat (one that had been sectioned off at the front) Then the guards came on the plane and asked me to get off. (Their only reason was the young man at the gate wanted me off) I refused. Four armed policemen came on and took me off . I did not fly that day. I did not fly for another two weeks. Fortunately I did get to see my father just before he died but it could have been a very different story. Ryanair throw me off the plane because I had tried to take two boxes of roses on knowing I was going to visit my dying father.

Why do they target older peeps ? I'm 63. Booked on-line. Found them very cunning. On the bit ... 'Travel Insurance ', i couldn't see the 'drop down box' for ' NO travel insurance. Seems it was hidden in the 'Country of residence ' list .... under DENMARK !!! My daughter found it. I am non-plussed why they made that important question sooooo hidden . & although I am a British Citizen , I'm not allowed to negate that transaction. So, in one fell swoop, we have ' ageism.... & European person -ism !! Struth . !!
Last year in August l was flying from Edinburgh to Kracow.l have never experienced something like that before. The stewardess, young girl, she was the most rude and agressive person l have ever seen.Cant give you her name cause she refused to give it to me.She said confidently ''l dont have to give you my name''.She forced me and my husband to put our hand luggagses undeneath our legs,l am a tall person so it was a pain.l said to her l paid for the space over the seat and that the seats are uncomfordable enought so maby she would like to put it under her seat. She said she can't cause of safety reasons.Than she said she will take it to the load with suitcases. We were travelling only with hand luggages so we wouldn't have to wait at the airport for all the suitcases to arrive. So l refused cause that would be very inconvenient for us.She was shouting and arguing with us and left our bags in the midlle of aisle so everyone could step on it.Than she just left so we had no choice but to squeeze ourselves with the bags for all flight. But the most shocking was how she treated us,total lunatic. She behaved like she had a rabies disease.lt also surprised me that despite everone witnessed this scene, not evan one person stood up and said to her to just stop being so rude. All of them, passengers and the rest of the crew pretended their are not there.l just stopped to believe in people.
Thanks for this useful feedback Rebecca! I have been working on a mobile app, called Flying with Ryan. It gives plenty of advices and tips when traveling with Ryanair, the source being all my travels with them plus the testimonies of travelers I met. But I was not aware of this point :) FYI, if you want to have a look at the app, and maybe avoid future mistakes thanks to my tips, the app is now available on Google Play (and in about 2 weeks on app store!) Rebecca : I felt cheated. I have been given two return vouchers having spent £3000 on Ryanair's credit card. I tried to book the flights this morning and have been advised that there is no seat available for any of the 5 places I wanted to go. There are some availability for 1 seat but not 2, unless I pay to buy one myself. I felt like a fool having focused my spending on Ryanair credit card. Lesson learnt, DO NOT go for it no matter what they say.
I am currently (unsuccessfully) trying to get them to refund my son's flight when he couldn't travel (under RYANAIR terms and conditions) as he had chicken pox. Sent the doctor's letter and all the email correspondance that I had with them to cancel the flight. After hearing nothing for a month I emailed them again (through the website) and was send a mail back along the lines of "we replied to you on the 14th of February, check your junk mail". If they want letters to their customer service then they should send letters in reply. I am not holding out much hope of getting this refund without having to take it any further. Does anyone know what the next step is as I am 100% entitiled to this refund.
I really dislike Ryanair. They try hard to push the limit between milking you and scamming you. European law states that all unavoidable costs have to be included in the price. They state a price for payment with a debt card from eindhoven, but you can only pay with a credit card with extra costs. They finally have listened to EU regulation that forbid the automatic turning on of extra insurance etc, but it is still very difficult to turn it off (you have to Find 'don't need insurance' in the country list). An then the baggage surcharges... Basically you need to go through the entire booking process and stop right before payment and then compare with other airlines. I hate the process and i hate the feeling of constantly having to distrust a company I am giving money to. Transactions should be enjoyable and mutually benificial. They should not feel like war or haggling with a bad faith partner.

Have just books 6 flights, reserved seats out and back, should be £5 each way, total £60 but the account which I paid was for £120, How can I get this corrected?
I know Ryanair operates out of Manchester Airport so I thought you might find this interesting. It's an article fr om Manchester Evening News, UK: www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/gre... In this case, Manchester Airport passengers could have claimed £63m over delayed flights, but only applied for £1m. It really seems as if the airlines (in general) are exploiting people's lack of knowledge over their consumer rights, especially in the EU, wh ere a lot of the regulations are changed or adapted over time. The general thrust of the debate is that if you suffered a delay or flight cancellation in the EU over the last few years, you may be eligible for compensation. There may be a few hundred pounds in it for you if you can make a successful claim. Also it's curious to see the rise of compensation claims companies in this area, like Airhelp (www.airhelp.eu/en/). I don't see the problem with these firms if they're experts who know what they're doing and are able to make the process quicker or easier. It looks like it can be difficult and long-winded staking a claim on your own, because there's a chance you may have to go to court. Anyway, just a tip to anyone on here who may stand to benefit. Not specifically just to do with Ryanair, of course, although I know Ryanair have been involved in some high profile delays and cancellations recently, and a lot of people were complaining about that. So this section seemed like a good place to raise the issue.
Taking good money from us but does not provide good service please don't choose Ryanair
Worth less flight and customer service in my life and do not flight from Ryanair
I used to like Ryanair. I honestly did, but that was before I had to deal with their customer service. It was alright if I had to pay for the phone call to fix the problem, but my problem was never fixed. I would call, and after I had explained everything but before there was any resolution, there's a disconnect. Weird, but it happens, and it did over and over again. There is no other way to resolve an issue than with the call center, but the call center doesn't offer an resolution. Plus you have to pay every time you call. Great scam Ryanair. You lost a customer today and an advocate for your no-frills, low-prices air travel. I would pay someone double what I paid for my tickets to * your CEO in the face.
I am trying to arrange a trip to Rhodes in May for a group of about thirty people travelling from various airports in the UK. People will be booking individually over the next couple of months. I have booked flights already with Ryanair but these flights no longer appear on the Ryanair site (they have the crossed out airplane symbol). I have phoned Ryanair on three occasions and got three different answers, the last of which was that there was no flight. I have since received confirmation details for my flight. My question is very simple. Has the flight been cancelled or is it now full or thirdly, do Ryanair release seats in tranches and more seats will become available (at a different price) at a later date. Anyone any ideas if Ryanair do release in tranches?
just a quick comment to say well done ryan air. Not used you as no need as not flying at the moment but big shake hands and thank you for listening to us Vapers and allowing them on your planes. hope other airlines follow suit.
Very rude airline. I called customer service 3 times - 3 times they hang up after 5 sec but charge me a fee. My problem is technical and i do not want to pay for fixing the issue when it is not my fault. I do not know what to do now. To trow my ticket and hate the company i guess.
I flew from man to alacante i asked on l asked on live chat if i could add one case to my booking and paid30 pounds only to find out when travelling home i had to pay another 60 pounds to bring back my case . I am an oap and really could not afford this but was told i had no choice . This ruined my experience from ryanair as i was very happy with the flight but feel i was wrongly advised and have paid 90 pounds for one 15k suitcase . Wud appreciate a refund
Never again! Our plane arrived late and missed its window to depart. Two hour flight ended up leaving 1 1/2 hours late. Adding insult to injury, the flight attendants still charged nearly five dollars for a bottle of water while we waited on the runway.
Ryanair have cancelled my flights but only issued a refund for one of them. Unbelievably rude woman on customer service told me to be quiet and listen, insisted that both refunds had been issued and then sent me a flight confirmation for the flight that is no longer taking place. I can't email Ryanair, customer service won't help, I am beyond frustrated.
Ryanair is the most deceitful airline and the worst in terms of public relations i have cme across.....it rips off customerswith an extra E70 tax for a boarding pass , the latest incident came on a plane load of media of travel and business and sports journalists who had the misfortune to to booked with them on a return flight to London from Biarritz
Started from 2002 to the end of 2010, I have always traveled with your airline and i was pleased. My trips were towards all directions, but especially to Rome and London. It's like you are among the best airline, I would like to understand why you aren't enlarged even in Albania. I do lawyer by profession and I think if you're going to start well here your service, i'll be useful .Best regards, att.Sokol HASANI
Dear CEO of Ryanair, I am a customer of Ryanair who experienced some trouble because of a double booking. It cost me a lot of time to clarify with the service center how to deal with this situation. One of the costomer service people confirmed me the costless stornation of one of the bookings. Another person from the service center told me later on that the found solution is not possible. Whom can I trust when I have questions which have an implication to my booking and costs? The result is, that ryanair skips the lower cost booking and I have to pay the much higher price for my flight. Is there an idea from Ryanair Management to give me a chargeback?
For the attention of Ryanair, I, the undersigned, Sabrina Ghelfi, born in Rimini, Italy, on 22/02/91, with reference to the flight Dublin-Bologna of 07/08/2013, declare as follows: a surcharge of € 60,00 due to the exceeding cabin baggage, has been applied to my father Ghelfi Gabriele Ivo, to whom I booked the above mentioned flight by prepaid card No. 5267 4173 4096 8745, security code 020. Since he was not in possession of the the amount required, my father had been allowed to board the plane only after the issue of the card details to the land hostess. At present, I verified that many unsuccessful attempts to charge my card have been made by your company, but, despite the two calls to your call center (for which I incurred a further expense of €30,00!) made the day after, and despite having provided to your operators, Mr. Rossano and Ms. Elena, all the required details, I verified , once again, that the amount of € 60,00 has not been charged yet. Given that the only way to pay is by your withdrawal and not having the least intention to pay any further amount because of your call center, I beg you to contact me at the following addresses: sabrina0291@libero.it +353 086 070 0413
I Magandeep Singh had traveled to Europe with us in the month of July. Attached is the ticket of RYAN AIR which i got issued from cox and kings india LTD jalandhar office . I want to bring it to your notice that Mr. Magandeep singh was harassed so much at the airport by the airlines. When i approached the filght counter at the airport at clampino with my e -ticket i was told by the counter staff that since i have not done web check in and does not have a boarding pass so i cannot board the flight. After lot of argument i was told to pay 70 euros per person if i want to board the flight, since i was left with no options i agreed to pay 70 euros per person. Now when i approached them i was asked to pay the same amount by credit card not cash again the counter staff told me, that if i want to board the flight pay by credit card since i did not have a credit card they told me to move away from the counter and they cannot do anything about it. i asked them if i could transfer the money via families credit card from India they refused it and asked me to pay at the counter with a credit card or just stop troubling them. This was the attitude of the staff of RYAN AIR at the airport. Then me along with my wife started approaching people for help. After asking 10 - 15 people one person an Italian agreed to us use his credit card for payment but he took 200 euros for the same. Finally they gave him 200 euros and he paid 140 euros through his credit card. Please look into this matter AND REFUND the said amount or stop issuing tickets from RYAN AIR>
worst airline ever...flew ryanair several times as some routes are simply just operated by them and/or other REAL airlines are just simply so expensive that i wouldn't be able to effort a flight for just a few days. The website is definitely a scam..not only that they force you to listen to their adverts to get through to the booking site..but also they simulate errors on the website to be able to increase the price in the next few seconds when reloading the page. suddenly the price rised from 140 to 190 pound in just 5 seconds...all other points have been mentioned yet..like the bad service..the annoying adverts on the plane, systematically leave the bright light on so no one falls asleep, and the general uncomfortable seats and so on and so on...i am waiting for that day when they forbid you to take your own drink or food which you just bought in the secure area on board...
Ryanair is without a doubt the worst, most profit-grubbing, greedy airline I've ever flown, not to mention that it's also dehumanizing, frustrating, uncomfortable, and possibly unsafe. Its service is terrible, many of its flight attendants don't even speak the language of the countries they're working in, and it's business practices are unethical and unjustifiable. My list of the indignities and outrages I endured on my one and only Ryanair trip is too long to describe here, but if you fly with them, you will most definitely experience them for yourself. I've traveled all over the world on dozens of different airlines (many of sketchy quality), but only Ryanair treats its passengers so shabbily. This is especially true for overseas travelers, since Ryanair penalizes them heavily for having any baggage at all, and especially expensively for large, heavy bags that overseas travelers frequently carry with them. Unless you want to repeat my unhappy experience, don't fly Ryanair. They are, in plain terms, a rip-off -- they lure you with low prices, and then slam you with exorbitant add-on fees that they don't tell you about until you get to the airport.
Ryanair defiinitely run a tight show but I have to say I dread the plane landing, especially the Dublin to Liverpool flight last Friday afternoon. I got a shot of pain up my back when it hit the tarmac with severe force.....very bad at landing planes, and also quiet scary for most of the folk on the plane except those who had been drinking, I guess.
the workers at the gate stole MY Laptop. what is THAT for an airline?????
way im twaif peiment for ticket?????? my number is 0894162841
To President Ryanair I read about your cheap tickets When i buy ticket from Stokholm 02.04.2013 Skavsta to Riga latvia flight fr 1962 at 12-55arrive in Riga(rix) 15-00 your company ryanair charge me 3.329.00 sek and I was senior for this price I travel all europe with train and you guys tell that is cheap, noway. Please reply I wait for explanation, thank you.
Guest : do i need a boarding pass for my return flight Yes you do. If you have a Smartphone you can get it with an app or you can check-in online. But if you show up at the airport without a Boarding Pass the company will charge you a fee.
ReplyIf you want to fly cheap, pick Ryanair and don't complain. If you prefer comfort and a nice meal, fly other airlines, but pay more. It's as simple as that!

This has got to be the worst airline company the world. and all due to one man, Michael O`Leary. He treats his employees like dog dirt on his shoe, and his customers like cattle. With O`Leary, customer care is non-existence. He brags about his low fares, but Monarch Air some time is cheaper and a better service. With Monarch your holiday starts when you get on the plane not when you get off and with Monarch they do have customer care and they do have telephone numbers so you can contact them. O`LEARY YOUR THE PITS.
Sorry I do not agree just had several trips to Ireland from the UK for £12 each way. Everything was on time and if you play the system its the best airline in the world!
They do no refunds, there is no real corporate office with real staff, it's a booking website that is run by a man from Spain. Ryanair is a SCAM! Avoid at all cost. Tell your family and friends.
Why don't I see anything about Ryanair's CSR on their website? The CEO makes so many claims. It's confusing.
