Ryanair pop up tells when checking in that I have to pay uk airport tax for my 11 year old child, which is not true, as children under 12 are exempt. How frustrating. By ignoring it, I was able to print my boarding pass BUT first I had to google it and find it all out.. Boo Ryanair, yet another customer fed up with your lack of care

Guest : MY SON TRAVELLED WITH RYANAIR TODAY FROM STANSTED TO PRAGUE. HE WAS MADE TO PLACE HIS HAND LUGGAGE IN THE HOLD LAST MINUTE. HIS SPENDING MONEY £150 WAS IN THE BAG' WHEN HE COLLECTED THE BAG HIS MONEY HAD BEEN STOLEN. SHAME ON YOU RYANAIR. YOUR SECURITY IS A SHAM AND YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE A JOKE. I WILL REFRAIN FROM ALSO USING CAPITAL LETTERS FOR MY ENTIRE REPLY AS THIS IS A * NUISANCE! You raised your son as a fool. One carries cash money on his/her person. Airline policies clearly state that you are supposed to keep all valueables in your hand luggage or on your person. Also, to assume that Ryanair is to blame, is nonsense. It could have been the security staff at the airport as well. Never heard of a lock or hardcase suitcase?

Ryanair has an incredible scam going on. I recently made the mistake of flying with them from London to Franfurt. I went online to confirm my flight, three days prior, on 8/7. I was able to enter all of my documentation information; however, at the end your web site said, "an error had occurred." I then attempted to call Ryanair's office for the next three days Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It was closed for the weekend. Finally on Sunday, August 9 I was able to successfully use the website to confirm my flight. However, though the website stated the flight was confirmed and I was sent a confirmation email to that effect, when I attempted to print the boarding passes the website kept saying, "an error has occurred." There was nothing wrong with either my printer or computer as I was able to print other boarding passes for another returning flight on a different airline. The next morning, the morning of our flight, we left early in order to address this problem at the airport. One of the agents directed us to a machine to print out the passes. However, the machine would not do so without an additional ˆ45 per person. When I explained this to the agent she said that it must be a mistake, to go up to the customer service agent. After waiting on line for quite a long period of time, I then met the rudest human being I have ever encountered. The customer service agent looked at his screen and admitted my flight was in fact confirmed, but he insisted I pay the fee. When I objected he then lied and said my flight was not confirmed! It was in fact confirmed. I have further evidence saying I paid the day before for two bags! He delayed so long and gave us such a difficult time that my husband finally paid the fee so that we wouldn't miss our flight. The agent then refused to give us the boarding passes! He rudely said, "you're going to miss your flight anyway." I left that line in tears and found another of agent, Chantel, who was wonderful. She printed my passes and directed us to the flight. She recommended that I contact the office for a refund. WhenI returned to the states I filed a complaint and was told that I did not follow their procedures. They admitted a confirmed flight with no boarding passes should only be charged ˆ15 each, but I had been charged ˆ45 each. Despite the fact that I attached a copy of their confirmation email dated the day before my flight which clearly states "Status: Confirmed" right under my reservation number, they refuse to refund me even the ˆ30 each. This is a scam! This is why they sell such cheap tickets so that they can scam customers out of more than double the ticket price! Our flight was from London Stansted airport to Frankfurt, Hahn, Germany on August 10, 2015. Confirmation # CNHVFQ.

Couldn't check in online last night as the website was down from 10pm until 7a.m. this morning. Can't print boarding pass as website appears to have problems. Website also told me that 'freely allocated random seats were available' (even though Ryanair doesn't allow you to check-in outside of 7 days from your return flights for these) but when clicked on, predictably a new message comes up saying the seats are not available. The entire website appears to be in freefall. An absolute shambles even by Pirate Air's normal standards. Went on Pirate Air chat. Was number 35 in a queue.

I have recently bought a return ticket to Marseille from Stansted with Ryanair for a long weekend 7 - 11 August 2015. When I went to print off my boarding pass, my return date had been logged at 6 October. I initially thought this was an error on my part, but while away, someon else had a friend who had travelled to Turkey and had their return flight incorrectly down at 6 October. Has anyone else had this problem? It looks like some sort of computer glitch their end, and if so I would like a refund for having to re-book my return flight.

Can't get any further than first page of site after choosing a place, so I can't complete the check-in process. I've been trying for 30 minutes now.

David : Trying to check in online via Ryanair's website. All goes OK until I reach the "Add Services" page - that's the one that asks if you want insurance etc. I duly sel ect the "Don't insure me" option and hit the "continue" button - nothing happens at all! Have tried three times now with same result. Any suggestions? Just to add that I finally made it past that * 'Add Services" page but I'm not sure how I did it. I changed browser fr om Safari to Chrome and although Chrome didn't work first time, it did eventually. Not the best way to spend an evening - but at least I have checked in now and I've got my boarding passes.

Guest : Help me please if can! I've booked flights for my partner, son and myself using first and last names however the advanced passenger information used these names automatically to be used yet all 3 of us have middle names on our passports. I've read the API must be exact to your passport but the option wasn't available to amend names. Now it says I cannot amend names as I've entered the passport numbers etc. I have not checked in just in case. Anyone know if this matters not giving a middle name? Ryanair forum says no they do not require middle names but I'm more worried about security upon scanning the passports. Hopefully I'm reading too much into it but travelling with a 3 year old we could do without being stopped. I'm sure will get stopped like last year as he has his fathers last name and I was not to go with him through security. Any help much appreciated! I'm in the same predicament. Unfortunately I only noticed when I printed out the boarding pass. I've sent them a message, waiting to hear back. How did you get on?

Guest : My wife and I with our 7month old baby have just been denied boarding of our 6.30am flight we were unable to check in online despite all of our details being 100% accurate we used the app and the website and various devices but there is clearly an error with the system. So we arrive at the airport in good time have to que for ages to then find we have to pay for check in. Thankfully we took a screen shot of our details and customer services agreed that there is an error with their system and waived the fee. Sounds like another Ryanair money making scam to anyone else? Anyone else experienced this? After this was all eventually resolved we were then informed we had now missed check in for our flight! The next flight being 5 days later! We now have to wait 10hours in the airport nothing offered in compensation and then fly to an airport arriving late in the evening to then drive 6 hours in a foreign country as well as pay £200 for switching our flights and the cost of a hire car which has to be returned 3 days later due to Sunday as well the transfers to the airport. The biggest factor being the stress this has caused for something which is supposed to be the only opportunity I get to wind down from a stressful job. And the lost time, I will be interested to see what value Ryanair put on this and shall post on social media this shower of a situation and shall also follow up with what Ryanair do about compensation. Choose Ryanair be very careful you don't get stitched up! This is my holiday well and truly ruined! #ryanairruinyourholiday #ryanaircheckinscam Dont fly with ryanair then! You chat a complete load of rubbish. They are either the cheapest airline from your airport or the only airline that fly to your destination! Nobody's bothered about how happy the customers are with service, the reason people fly with ryanair is the price and ontime flights, so if you dont like it, good job finding an airline who can match the price. I guarantee you will fly with them again. See you soon on a ryanair flight!

My family and I just returned from Ireland. We initially booked Ryanair to travel from London to Shannon Airport. I booked the 8 of us online. I paid by credit card. When in Ireland we were unable to check-in online so we went to the airport two hours early on June 21st to find all automatic checkin stands were closed and there were 3 clerks at the ckeckin counter. All looked tired and dispirited. The ckeckin line moved at a snail's pace. Several people in the line tried to explain to the clerks that they had tried to check in via phone apps but could not get them to work. Ryanair staff were brusque and disinterested and just kept repeating demands for more money. We finally arrived at the front of the line and were told that we had to pay 45 Euros per person to check in at the airport. I tried to explain that I had no idea that it was mandatory to checkin online but she showed me the small print on my reservation form that stated the requirement for online checking. We paid 45 Euro per person for a total of 558 Euros above the ticket price. At the end, we ran for what seemed like miles to catch the flight which was just closing its doors when we got there. Our kids were crying and my husband, who has knee and back problems, was hobbling. There was nothing free onboard - no coffee, juice, tea. Everything was very overpriced and the food looked days old. In the end we paid the following in Euros: 340 for total fair; 55.25 for reserved seating; 318.50 for one checked bag each; 13.89 credit card fee; 558.56 for boarding pass issue fee for a grand total of 1267.00 - for a one hour flight to Heathrow. We have traveled all over the world and been on dozens of airlines, low fee airlines included. We have NEVER encountered such poor service and such greed. Just horrible. We will never travel that airline again.

Just to try to help ,I couldn't find my return boarding pass, however I tried, two on line chat,s and ignoramouses couldn't help either. By pure fluke I went onto my history, and there it was my outward and inward booking reference, clicked onto return for booking reference, hey ho, sorted by my own self ,,after hours of struggling easy when you know, but it should be made simpler, and helpfull if advisers were more knowledgeable, I'm sure they sit with manual in front of them, and if the answer is not there you get" it's up to passenger and sorry for inconvenience, "
