Guest : Guest : I have just completed online check in ... but not once did it ask for my passport details ... is this correct ? When I flew at Christmas, I had to enter my passport number etc..., but this time it has gone straight to me printing the boarding pass without me entering anything. Anyone had the same thing? It happened to me as as well... Kind of worried:s

Hi, I have just booked my seats online for my outbound flight, but I did not see an option to book the return flights. Can i do this before i set off and print the return flight boarding passes? Apparently you can't unless you buy an allocated seat which costs £10.99 minimum. Free check-in and printing only possible from 7 days the scheduled flight up to 2 hour prior departure. I know..it's sucks. This is Ryanair irritating its customers again!

Ryanair always manages to irritate people. With its user unfriendly web site and this thing of having to buy allocated seats if you want to check-in and print your tickets is just an absurd and appalling idea. I just say why???? Shame on you!

Will never book with Ryanair again. Too many hidden costs and un-helpful help line. Hope we don't get charged for using the toilet during the flight - wouldn't put it past them the robbing ****ARDS

Help me please if can! I've booked flights for my partner, son and myself using first and last names however the advanced passenger information used these names automatically to be used yet all 3 of us have middle names on our passports. I've read the API must be exact to your passport but the option wasn't available to amend names. Now it says I cannot amend names as I've entered the passport numbers etc. I have not checked in just in case. Anyone know if this matters not giving a middle name? Ryanair forum says no they do not require middle names but I'm more worried about security upon scanning the passports. Hopefully I'm reading too much into it but travelling with a 3 year old we could do without being stopped. I'm sure will get stopped like last year as he has his fathers last name and I was not to go with him through security. Any help much appreciated!

I checked in online early and didn't pay for seats on the outbound flight We are all sat together. It doesn't help with your children but you might want to try it. Having said that I've only checked in online 1 week in advance

Guest : Hi! We are a family of five travelling in a month with ryanair, does anyone know if the free allocated seats mean that the children (3 and 5) can be separated from the adults? The infant will have to travel on his fatherslap, but I'm guessing they are not allowed (for security reasons?) to allocate a seat for the other two (again, only 3 and 5 years old) that is not next to me, their mother. Has anyone ever had that problem? We're not keen on buying seats to be honest, because we kind of hope they HAVE to put us together (at least the two older ones with one of the adults) Thanks a lot!

Funny how there seems to be problems booking in unless you pay for an allocated seat £10.99 each way. As I'm with 16 year old I have booked allocated going out and was going to go for the free seats on return. Then I noticed that you cant check in the return flight until 7 days before - when we are on the outward flight with no printer. Of course a I can check in early if I pay for allocated seats - I think I preferred the free for all we knew how that worked, now its another £44 extra for them!

I'm trying to go through the online check in on behalf of my parents (and add a bag to their booking, but I haven't got that far yet). They fly on Tuesday - but although I've got as far as adding their passport details, whenever I click the check in button, I get a slight pause then "server error". I have tried in different browsers and on different computers - which doesn't make any difference. Not surprising if it's a server error. That means the problem is at Ryanair's end.

Guest : Hi would anyone be able to help...I have 3 flights to check in for Ryan air but for some reason it won't let me check my husband in? It says check in now (with a cross in the box) but it won't let me do it...is it because I originally clicked on check in later? When is later? Arghhh!! myself and my son are allocated seats ....helpline closed?!! I tried several times on different computers to check in and get boarding pass - choosing not to pay for seats as I always have done - but it wouldn't check me in nor allocate seats! In desperation I booked seats on outward and inbound journey and finally it let me check in and produced boarding pass! very strange and worrying after many years of Ryanair travel with no problem

Guest : Guest : I can't check my 14 year old son in online as it says his date of birth is invalid and that he registered as an adult, what can I do? Hi, just wondering if you sorted this as I am now having the same problem for my 12 year old Son and we are flying tomorrow. I can't check him in and there isn't anyone there until the morning and we will have already left for the airport. Having the same problem, just wondering if you got this issue resolved?

would appear allocated seats now cost £10.99 minimum! each way.. Family of four would be charged almost £88!! When did rates go up?? does not agree with their current info on their web site.

All children regardless of age so including i Guest : can someone help me I cannot print my boarding pass because I've got an infant without a passport . It keeps asking for details of his passport. I thought infants did not need a passport when travelling from Dublin to London. Any help would be grateful . All children regardless of age need a passport yes even a 1 month year old baby. You need a passport to fly with Ryanair and most airlines even on domestic routes and to/from Ireland. Ryanair may refuse you travel without a passport or a kids passport. Guest : I think I've given the incorrect date of birth when booking What will happen? You need to call Ryanair and get them to change it as if you details do not match you will not be flying. Ryanair will charge you for doing this.

Guest : I booked flights with Ryanair one for last week and one for two weeks time. Both to Malaga from Glasgow Prestwick. When I checked in online and paid for a seat last week's one was £5.99 - when I checked in online for the flight in two weeks time the cheapest fee I could pay to reserve a seat was £10.99. That is a steep increase even by Ryanair standards. Has anyone else found this to be the case. Maybe the costs go up after a certain date but almost 50% seems incredible. Hi yes this is normal it also applies to baggage which jumps up. You save money by paying for everything when you book the flight not later or when checking in online.

looked at flights for dublin to luton return to match my aer lingus flight 128 from toronto to dublin. Initially looking for flights dublin to gatwick costs prohoibitive used change selection and found reasonable flight dublin to luton return @ 49 euros. 10 mins after processing payment info etc printed out itinerary. The itinerary was not for the times I had booked meant I would have to sit in dublin airport for 15 hrs to get to luton and my return would get me to dublin 8 hrs after my dublin to toronto flight had taken off. Tried using live chat and customer service within minutes like 15 minutes after booking was made and read print out. 5 hours later and numerous alerts from my credit card fraud alert department an online chat with customer service changing flights unable to confirm details despite fare now doubled. Have instructed citi cards to dispute charges / no service. Additionally 82Kg passenger 49 euro return + a 20kg check in bag 90 euro return (baggage costs 7+ x more per kilo than a passenger, rip-off or what?) obviously this company a con artist hence no direct line to ireland. Never use Kayak or ryan air website to book flights is my conclusion. Credit card will dispute bill this dispute will hopefully cost ryan air more than the 49 fare. I will never ever use ryan air or fly to ireland to access europe ever again. Suggest france spain and uk far better entries from USA.

Well what a nightmare I have put myself through? Booked with Ryanair again only this time I made a mistake and left my middle name out when checking in? I couldn't sleep when realised and phoned to get through to a nice lady who could hardly understand me or I her but who reassured me that it is fine so long as my first and last name were correct? Although reassured I still couldn't settle and notice the live chat option on Ryanair website so thought give it ago? Again was reassured and I am now finally at ease? If a fault was made it was mine, nothing to do with Ryanair, best airline out there, can't fault them and for coming up with that ingenious idea for live chat I commend you. I just hope it all goes well, as I said it will be my own fault if not but had to write and praise Ryanair for their initiatives, world class.

Apparently, Ryanair class a child as aged 0-11 therefore your grandson would be classed as an adult on both flights.
