Hi, I'm a student at the University of Chester. I'm looking for customers that have flown with Ryanair to complete a quick survey to help with my dissertation. It will take around 5 minutes and would be a massive help for me. The link is survey.zohopublic.com/zs/aGyPls Thank you! Katie.

Hi, I know I'm swimming against the tide here but I just had a great experience with the Ryanair online chat support. For some reason it wouldn't accept that one of my kids wasn't an adult and wouldn't let me check him in. I figured this was a typical scam to make me pay the €70 to check in at the airport (which in itself is outrageous if you think about it), but I contacted their online support and a friendly lady fixed it for me in minutes - even rearranged our seats to sit us together. I know they've got a way to go yet before we can call them a truly customer-oriented business, but if this is a glimpse of things to come, I'm cautiously optimistic...

I am trying to check in online and, although it has allowed me to add baggage and pay for my seats, the "Check in Now" button does not go to the page it is supposed to and kills all the links on the page I am currently on. I've tried phoning but I am in an endless queue. Col

got to the point of despair with Ryan despite using them for a few years without an issue ,they have really poor customer service , which would if improved save them from poor feedback .I actually went to the service desk days before flying ,to ask for advice . I needed a interpreter almost and clearly ,the staff despite there best pathetic efforts .Had no idea about customer focus or "going the extra mile " to deal with clients , unlike some of the more well respected companies . Seems they have become really complacent . Its a shame a compnay which is basically living on the edge of folding up keep up the facade of a total quality manged compnay rant over watch this space lets hope they invest in qualitystaff

I will never book a flight with Ryan Air again. I couldnt access boarding pass, cant get thro to anyone who makes sense, cant access car hire details, cant access car parking. AND they charged me for a credit card when I used a debit card. I also had a childish service operator on line who was too rude, considering the problem lay with Ryan Air

V Cooper : This morning I could not print boarding passes for a journey on Tuesday. I tried every which way.....UNTIL...... I CAVED IN ......and paid for 'selected' seats. suddenly, I could access the correct page and print off the required passes. Of course,no one to answer calls on a Sunday, unless I pay a £ per minute on a special line Here we go Ryanair........'the cheapest airline'........that's if you don't include the many extras which seem to be vital if you want to have the pleasure of travelling with them😞 Yep! They have done this to me too!

You cannot now get free seating on Ryanair unless you book online 7 days in advance, it is often difficult to book and print the return flight during this period of time. You therefore must book earlier than the seven days and for that you will be charged! No choice! You will also notice that the cost of seating will be the same in Euros or Pounds; 5.99 Euros is NOT 5.99 Pounds!! More little tricks from Ryanair!

Good God this airline sucks. The website says children are 2-11. My son is 14. The entire family is traveling. I can't check ANYONE in online, because it won't accept my 14 year old sons credentials. No explanation given at booking that this was a problem. No spot anywhere not the website saying what to do. Looks like it is "forcing" me to check ALL 5 MEMBERS in at the airport for 70 pounds each simply because they refuse to check a 14 year old in online. The email customer service forms just sends back a link to the very page where the answer wasn't found in the first place. Its like this airline screws with its passengers for its own personal shits and giggles. Never flying this * airline again. Never. Once is plenty. By the time all the ridiculous fees are added in (and we paid-- for assigned seats, baggage, priority boarding etc) the cost comes out to what we would have paid on a normal airline with normal baggage and normal airports and normal check in procedures.

Last year we booked flights from East Midlands to tenerife for June 2015 we've travelled on the same flight for about the last 4 years 06:45 take off. It has just come to my attention that this flight is no longer scheduled & Ryanair now only have 1 flight a day 13:40 from east midlands to tenerife instead of 2/3 a day. The return flight was 12:00 it is now 18:55, we booked the flights due to good flight times but are now stuck with not so good flight times due to no other flights available

I have just checked in online for a flight on the 12th March 2015 choosing the free allocated seats option. My return flights are on the 19th of March 2015 (a week later). I am unable to check in for the return flights until the morning I leave i.e. on the 12th March 2015. I cannot get access to and therefore cannot print my outbound boarding passes. I assume this is because I cannot complete my check in procedure for the return flights until the 12th March. I have not flown with Ryanair for a few years now is this a new ploy by them to get you to pay for allocated seating? I assume so!! I would like to know before I ring their contact number, which I guess they would like me to do so they can make some more money? Thanks

I wolud like to change the new date 04.05.2015 on 08.05.2015 (Friday), because of many others reservation I have made ( like train reservations, overnights ) that I can not change any more. For the same reason, I would like to change the new date of the fligth from Bergamo(BGY) to Wroclaw(WRO) ( proposed by Ryanair ) from 11.05.2015 on 15.05.2015(Friday). This is the most shady airline with all these additional fees! At the end I can say I would prefer to spend more with another airline instead of being mislead with a cheaper price and then surprised with additional fees and the headache of being allowed a maximum check-in bag weight of under the 50 lbs you get with every airline in creation! I am pissed!

why don't Ryan Air just add the seating charges to the flight, you are almost forced to pay for a seat for your return journey as you cannot print off your boarding card before you go unless you pay for a seat, seems to me its just another way of making money. I thought the owner was trying to be nice to customers now. Ha Ha

Hello... I have made reservation of my kids but both kids are under 16 (my daughter 15 years and son 12 years). their flight is from Paphos (Cyprus) to London (Stansted) on 20th Dec, 2014 and return 8th January, 2015. I cant check-in online as because of under age and they cant travel alone. As Ryanair people said that they need one adult reservation number so they will connect my kids with them so they may travel. So, I need help from anyone who is travelling from Paphos (Cyprus) to London (Stansted) on 20th December via Ryanair. can any one help me in this regard. I will be very much thankful for this help. Yesterday I tried to book a Ryanair flight fr om Santander to Seville. The process is lengthy and finally completed the credit card info and proceeded to book the flight. A message appeared that the credit card was declined. This happened three times and with two credit cards. I tried to phone (from Canada) only to discover that customer service has lim ited hours. Tried again today with the same result. Finally spoke to customer service and after lengthy conversation covering several topics was advised that the Ryanair site doesn't work with Internet Explorer and I should change my browser. Enquiring about a phone booking I was advised that it would be very costly. Customer service?

I live in France and would like to fly to the UK to collect my grandson from the airport and get on the return flight (back on the plane I have just arrived on), is this possible. I could check in online before I left for both outbound and inbound trips, but is there enough time to go through passport control, get my grandson from his mother, go through passport control again and get to departures in time?? What is the turnaround for a Ryanair plane? Has anyone else attempted this? Thank you.

Rudi Sels : Ryanair steels the money of their customers, the marketing machine of cheapness is rude on every moment a customer makes a mistake the fine them a steel money out of their pockets - this by being smartly unreachable, I am disgusted about the rules they generalize towards the only goal robe you !I think the word is steal!

Hal Adams : I use Ryanair frequently. Until this evening, I could not say a word against them. They always gave me what it said on the tin. This morning, a mail arrived - 25% off all travel in January! I booked a sheaf of trips! Did I get the discount? Heck no! My fault though, did I really think Leary would give money away - c'mon, leopards do not change their spots! I Booked lots of the same online with no problems.

Recently had to use Ryanair to visit relatives in Crete, as they were the only option. If they are the only option next time we'll be going by boat from Athens. I've never before come across an airline with so many rules and regulations designed to impose financial penalties on what are laughingly referred to as customers. Advertised return flights were £334 from Leeds Bradford to Chania. By the time we had paid extra for our suitcases, priority boarding and seats with extra legroom, the price was £459. Then I made the fatal mistake of buying a bouzouki in Crete. They refused to allow me to take it in the cabin and stow it in the overhead lockers, like Easyjet and other operators would have done. I was charged 60 Euro and made to have it placed in the hold, wh ere it miraculously survived, apart from the odd dent here and there. I wrote a complaint, but was advised that because I had failed to comply with their Terms and Conditions, then their staff had applied the correct procedure, and so be it. The original £334 "bargain" flight therefore cost us £507, and a slightly bashed bouzouki. Next year we're going back to Greece, but fortunately it's to Corfu with Thomas Cook.

I have flown to most european countries but my trip to Dublin was the first horror vacation in my life. The service desk of ryan air was appropriately at area 13 and the plane at the even more suitable gate 113 and whole Dublin was fitly decorated for halloween. I missed my flight. I was waiting for the message board at the entrance to show the gates like those at every other airport i have been to. So i waited until i began to worry because a flight from an other airline showed canceled. Once behind the security check the horror began: gate closed. I ran to the most far off gate of the airport. The plane and stair was still in place, but the attendant i found couldn't do anything for me, he even thought i was trying to argue and focusing my anger on him, while it was disbelieve and feeling of horror. The woman behind the service desk was coldhearted, stared with cold eyes, had no consideration at all and was laughing and joking with a coworker, while my companions were very emotional. I guess all the bad luck of the irish was al along coming down on me: -earlier at the hotel the booking of my room was untraceable, -i witnessed two fire calamities -two schoolgirls were almost overrun by a bus a few feet away -an expensive electronic device broke -i was overcharged at a restaurant -my car got "bruised" -my throat is still sore days later because of the running at the airport, kerosene fumes? and had to pay almost the same amount for the rebooking as for the initial tickets, an extra day for a room and an extra day for car parking. A bit of empathy would have been welcome even when i was emotional and in disbelieve that there was no audio announcement from Ryanair although i did hear those from Airlingus and the message board didn't showed any required information, but i wasn't mad at her. All i can think of her now is that she resembles a figure of halloween. Too bad because i liked the irish( some girls were stunningly beautiful and seemingly fragile like finest porcelain and the men i met were helpful), the food, the architecture, Dublin as a whole and would have gone back again and who knows, again.

Ryanair advertise you can complain by fax but very carefully ensure that they do not publish the fax number. This is part of a deliberate policy to make it difficult for people making bona fide claims.

I just wanted to say that in 11 years of flying to France (Bergerac) with Ryanair, we have had one occasion where a flight was diverted to Limoges. My wife flies back regularly to the UK, a minimum of ten return flights per year. That doesn't count the odd occasion when I fly, no more than one return flight per year, if that. Nor does it include when friends and family visit. The last time that I flew, I had to go into London for a day. The train journey cost me more than the return leg of the flight. If you look at the conditions, luggage sizes etc and abide by the rules, you have excellent value for money. I have nothing to do with the company apart from being a satisfied customer. You get what you pay for. I get annoyed with those that moan about service. That isn't what you are paying for. You are paying to go from A to B in the cheapest way possible, otherwise you wouldn't be looking at Ryanair. You have a choice, you can always find another route.
