Hi...We are flying with Ryanair to Corfu on 13th July...On our return we need a pre flight Covid test (to be taken in Corfu)...Can anyone confirm that Ryanair will accept an Antigen Covid Test, to get back into the UK ? Thanks anyone, for your thoughts... Cheers !

We have had our return flights to Spain cancelled and have been offered voucher or refund. Will we get the costs of the outbound flights refunded too?

I have rebooked our Airbnb from August this year to August 2022, however when i go to change the flights to next year, I can only change as far as October this year!...Is Ryanair going to make me cancel and loose all my money? They were already changed from 2020 to this year, so O thought I could do it again

Has anyone flown from Dublin to Uk this week since they introduced new 10 day quarantine? I booked return flights from edinburgh 11-19 June but didn’t get the outgoing flight, ended up flying with a different airline a bit earlier so have been here 10 days and shouldn’t need the test etc. Now got an email saying need negative test and passenger locator form for flight on Saturday back to UK presumably because Ryanair thinks ive been here less than 10 days due to outgoing flight. Will they be able to see I didn’t take outgoing flight? How are they differentiating between people in the country 10 days or less and those just flying to edinburgh either living in Ireland/been here for longer than 10 days? Anyone experienced this?

Guest : Steve : I am still waiting for my refund since March 2020! I received an email in Feb saying that it had now been approved to be refunded and still nothing! Hi I have also been waiting for a refund since March 2020, despite sending countless emails I have not heard anything, this is the third time I have had trouble with Ryanair what a disgraceful airline and I would advise anyone to try to find a different carrier.

Having rearranged flights due to Covid which was easy and straightforward I am now having problems trying to rearrange parking booked for Stansted airport through Ryanair. The old entry and exit details are clearly on my rearranged flight booking but I can't change them online. I went through the Ryanair helpbot after messages sent to the email Ryanair provides on the website kept bouncing back. Tried ringing the operator but they require a parking booking reference which I don't have as non sent by Ryanair. Looks like £88 down the drain. Lesson here is book parking direct because otherwise both parties deny responsibility and nothing gets resolved.

We are in the exact same boat. Ryanair said we could change to next however the change fee would be £950 on top of the £870 for last year which was carried to this year. Making the flights over £1700. We are now resigned to losing it all. Just want to feel safe, Ryanair are just robbing * who couldn’t care less

Hi, i need some advice please. My sister has booked to go away this month to spain with ryanair flight has been booked since before pandemic), however since spain went to an amber country they are wanting to change their flight to next year as they cant afford to self isolate when returning because they are self employed, also they feel its much safer flying next year. My mother in law spoke to Ryanair this morning who advised they could only change the flight to this year. My sister has children so they can only go away in the school holidays which means the next holiday would be October which they cant do. i have searched the ryanair website and no where does it state when changing dates it had to be with in that same year the original booking was made. is this right?? has any one else had issues or advise u can offer? this is my sisters first holiday in many years and she just wants it to be safe and special for her family!

I checked with government website before I booked a flight to Kerry for tomorrow re the length of time left on my passport. They say I do not need to have six months validity left. The passport just needs to be valid for the length of the journey, which is is. Ryanair website says 6 months validity is needed to fly to any EU country. Can they refuse me in the flight? The website allowed me to check in and print viurding passes.

Reply

It's now impossible to use the online claims form for a refund for cancelled flights. Sneakily, they keep rejecting the name of the person who booked, even though the name is a simple one.

Waiting in the check in queue today for RyanAir flight from Bordeaux to Stansted. Flying with a non-related minor so no alternative but to check in at desk. All forms and COVID required docs in place. Queue is moving slowly. There are around 15 people behind us. We are next at the desk when the check in person comes up to us and tells us that the flight is now closed! Needless to say that an enormous fuss was kicked up which resulted in a mad dash through security and passport. Fortunately we made the flight - returning for university finals and school - so necessary travel under current rules. No-one boarded behind us - shocking service, lack of comma and client awareness.

Has anyone recently travelled from Shannon airport to the UK, do you need a negative PCR to board the flight, I've had no luck on Ryanair web chat or with the department of foreign affairs. UK government say no PCRs are needed but I've heard rumours that Ryanair are asking for a PCR anyway. Any advice greatly appreciated

Guest : I found my flights from Stansted to Faro (return) using Skyscanner. I clicked on the link which took me to the Ryanair website, booked the flights, some luggage, seats and all was well, seemingly. 24 hours later I received an email from Ryanair saying as I had used an unauthorised Online Travel Agent I had to report to the Ryanair desk at Stansted to check documentation etc. I tried to check-in online yesterday and it would not work. A Ryanair agent in an online chat said I could not check-in online as I had booked through a 3rd party and that I would have to check-in at the airport (for free). This seems crazy as all my booking details are on the Ryanair website and Skyscanner have told me that I should be able to check-in online. Anyone else experienced this issue? I shall be taking it up with Ryanair.9z006

Hey folks. I have booked flights for Malaga next week through the much maligned Ryanair. We own a property over there but i have now read somewhere that Ryanair are refusing to allow people to board the aircraft without good reason. Apparently buying and selling property is not deemed as a good enough reason..!! Does anyone wish to comment. The flights were booked less than a week ago.

Hi, we booked flights with Ryanair last year for a 2020 holiday to Spain, due to COVID, we moved the flights to this year, at a cost of £90 each...3 of us travelling, so £270. We have decided not to travel abroad this year, and they want another £90 each for moving the flights again. To move the flights takes minutes on your computer...total rip-off. Has anyone got any suggestions how to get a refund, or stop this "cycle". Many Thanks

Hello. I am due to fly from Ireland to Scotland in a few days. Scottish government website states I do not need a pre-departure COVID test or to quarantine on arrival. I called Ryanair just to double check this information and ask if I would be denied boarding without one. The "customer service advisor" stated that I should follow the government guidelines but then said I should take a test just incase. I know Ryanair have a partnership with Randox for COVID testing and I do not want to give them 90 euros for a COVID test which I don't need. Has anybody flown with Ryanair recently? Can anybody clarify? Thanks in advance :)

Got a refund for cancelled flights between Marrakech and Dublin but less £40! Their online chatbot system suggests it is because of the varying exchange rate as the flight originated in Morocco. However the flight was initially quoted in local currency (Dirhams) but then changed by the Ryanair booking system to a quote in Sterling! I paid in sterling via visa card which showed it was not a foreign exchange transaction. The refund was in sterling to the same visa card. Questions... where has the £40 gone? Would Ryanair have refunded more in sterling had the rate gone the other way?

I am due to fly to Tenerife from Stansted same day. Ryanair tell me flight if going, and won’t be cancelled unless border is closed. I was hoping to get a refund as I can’t rebook before 31 October but they won’t offer me a credit note or anything. I don’t understand how they can be operating flights to countries not accepting uk tourists?! Guest : Have a flight booked East Midlands to Malaga 21st. May. I'm told Spain is not accepting visitors from UK till June. Ryanair say flight is still on. Might be my shortest visit yet!!

Just applied for my Ryanair refund. They didn't make the form easy. Here is how I (think) I managed it. When inputting my email, I left a space at the start, then once I had the email typed in, I backspaced it one. For the booking reference, I left only the first letter in capslock and everything else lower case. It says my request is being processed and will be returned within 7 days. This might work for some others also
