Hi, I'm a bit confused about Ryanair..I was traveling with my husband and 18 months old daughter from Manchester to Riga international airport and took pushchair and travel cot with us..I hadn't any problems in Manchester airport but when I should come back from Riga the girl in check in desk told me that I need to pay for travel cot because it's only one item per baby but even on ticket was written two items..(she explained 2items is only if I have pram who is going together with car seat like 2in1 travel system).after 15 minutes conversation (she even called to some office and they said the same its only one item) she let us go with travel cot without paying but told for next time remember it's only one item...is there are different rules for Ryanair in different airports or Riga international airport is special one? Thanks

Guest : Guest : Thanks for this info in how to log on the old style. I was in a blind panic this morning trying to check in my 14yr old daughters info and wouldn't allow me due to the change on their website not allowing the date of birth before 2004 for a child. 👍 Ferg : I went here www.seatguru.com/airlines/Ryanair/checki... The check in link takes you to the old style check in that works just fine. Have tried and successfully got my pdf. Hope this helps.[/QOUTE Thanks for this site worked first time Hi - old website wouldn't let me select date after 2000. Was able to check 12 year old in at the airport check in at Manchester yesterday with no extra charges. I had managed to get through to webchat and they said do at airport for no extra charge which turned out to be the case. Phew!

Guest : Just joining this thread - booked child via skyscanner and ticket for adult and therefore can't check in as born after 2000. Has anyone actually flown yet? What's the situation at the airport if we 1 - lie and enter 2000 2 - try to fix at check in Very frustrating dealing with Ryanair. I think I'll try twitter next. UPDATE - got through on the web chat. Operator said 'don't worry, you can sort out at check in for free' which turned out to be the case so all OK and no extra charge yesterday when we flew.

I agree the website at Ryanair is the worst I have ever used - I cannot go on to look at any flights let alone book anything - they must loose so much business. Please change the ryan air website back to what it was or change it to being like easyjet. This website is so difficult to use. One very unhappy customer

Thought it was just me. An awful site Guest : This website used to be reasonably good but since it's been updated its a nightmare. From selecting the departure airport is poor but the dates are something else, it takes ages to page through and even then it very frequently will come up with a different return date when you sel ect go. But if you to change it then you have to start fr om scratch again. All very frustrating so going to Easyjet instead as their website is still easy to use.

I don't mind flying with Ryanair, it is what it is and expect nothing. My only problem is with the new website, whoever designed it should be sacked. It doesn't work, I give up and end up using my phone to book. Come on Ryanair sort it out.......

Online check in is extremely consumer unfriendly with this airline - very inefficient and unreliable. After much time consuming annoyance you learn that you have been timed out. At best you may end up with a boarding pass but the barcode being displayed on an iPad screen is omitted from the printed version. This means more hassle at the airport in having to sort it out with Ryanair staff in order to proceed through security. I've learnt my lesson. Norwegian Air are far easier to deal with and their price structure is just as attractive.

This is crazy in the 21C for Ryan air to neglect fixing the check in page! They are well aware that there is a major problem with the page. It keeps crashing and freezing. Can't enter dates, can't continue. I have had numerous problems checking in online. Is this to frustrate passengers so they'll just pay extra at the airport? Really...what gives? Why does Ryan air make passengers check in anyway? Cray cray....

You can access the old website through legacy.ryanair.com Guest : Well done ryanair, after this new website was installed it is impossible to swiftly book tickets as per the old website, full of faults, won't take dates correctly reverts back to March....nope I want to fly in October......seems to work okay on app on iPhone but not on iPad......don't trust it at all therefore my 3rd set of flights booked this year with the competitor easyjet . Ryanair £0 Easyjet £1400 booked 2 people for 3 return journeys. Always used Ryanair for last 12 years but until they WAKE UP and sort out website then they are obviously not losing enough money. Which surprises me as I cannot be the only frustrated individual. Previous webpage was great, easy to navigate etc, why spoil it.

Have spent past two hours on the chat help line waiting patiently- same problem - the website says I'm timed out. Am stuck in rural france borrowing friends PC and they have had me clearing all his browser history and downloading chrome - embarrassing but friend being patient. Still no further forward so back to chat to ask if I can check in at airport and they want 45 euros from each of us despite knowing I have spent past 2 hours trying to fix.

When I tried to get on line to check in I got a repeated message that my email address that the company had just used to inform was invalid!! It seems that Ryanair have screwed up their website?

We tried to book a return flight to Alicante last night and the payment card won't go through on the Ryanair Website. We checked again this morning and the price on the same flight and dates had gone up £50.00, this time the same payment card went through. I have just checked the flight price again this afternoon and the price for the same flights has come down £25.00. Is there someone at Ryanair constantly checking web use and putting the prices of their flights up and down?
