Ryanair on-line check in is a nightmare, I travel with them about 6 times a year ( I have a house in France ) - each time of day or night I try to check in I have the same problem, the screen freezes and it takes an age to enter the details. I dread using their system it is SO infuriating. It is not my IPad as I have no other issues with different sites. Please Mr O'leary fix this for our sanity sake, I for one dread using your site. The "new" Ryanair site is incredibly slower and much less user friendly compared to the previous version...who are the brilliant consultants ? It is so slow that I switch more often to EasyJet... Sorry.

Tried to book ticket to Rga. Have done done so times before. Can't do it now .Am running Linux. Have found out this is a problem across other Linux/ Unix based systems, eg Android and Apple. Perhaps Mr O' Leary should think to replace the untrained monkeys he must use to run his IT. Joe. ------- Got German Wings ticket!

HI we to morrow on - reservation number JLQJXP. we checked in online & printed passes for outward journey ok. However we wanted to add a bag on return flight -it was calculated etc but the "Continue" button would not activate. Then we tried to just check in online for return flight & print passes (without adding baggage) again "Continue" button would not activate. So we've been unable to check in for return flight !!! Please advise. Telephone 353876187968

I have flown Ryanair for years but have to say that your website is now so bad, it's practically unusable. I can't do a search for flights on the new system, let alone book one. Please sort it out.

Guest : I have been trying to book a flight in June to Spain for the past 3 days and I cannot get past the 'continue' stage!!! It is really annoying. What the heck is going on?? I am surprised they have any customers at all!! Please get it sorted Chris This is my exact same problem!! Tried 4 different browsers, very frustrating!!!

I have tried 4 different browsers including IE, MS Edge, Firefox and Chrome. Everytime I go to fill in my contact details it will not let you continue to payment. There is no way around this, I even set up an account with Ryan air to see if it would auto-complete the form after selecting the flight I want from Skyscanner and it still doesn't work!!

Every time Ryanair change the website it is worse than before. It is now bordering on unusable. How can a company depending on web sales get it so badly wrong. I'm going to Easy Jet, can book it in two minutes.

I noticed Ryanair allows every person to book up to 3 pieces of luggage for a fee and that children are half price. What is to stop someone from booking all their luggage under the child's name for half the cost? Has anyone tried this?

Guest : I had exactly the same problem as a poster below, the website abbreviated my husbands surname to just the first 3 letters although it kept the full name for the other 3 of us - I had to pay £110 as a name change fee. I am now trying to check in, have entered all our details but it just freezes at the point where seats should be allocated. We encountered the same problem yesterday (13th Feb) but fortunately they reprinted the boarding pass for free after a long wait. It was a really long two-barrelled name and we wondered if the surname field couldn't take all the letters!

Cant check my 13 year old son in on the passenger details page as the year options only go up to the year 2000 for date of birth details. The booking page states children are only up to the age of 12. Ryan Air need to fix this website coding error soon.

Get it sorted ryanair, what a shambles - new website definately not user friendly that's when it's working. Or is it just another money making scam 'save this booking' 5euros per person

This website used to be reasonably good but since it's been updated its a nightmare. From selecting the departure airport is poor but the dates are something else, it takes ages to page through and even then it very frequently will come up with a different return date when you sel ect go. But if you to change it then you have to start fr om scratch again. All very frustrating so going to Easyjet instead as their website is still easy to use.

What the hell is happening with the Ryanair page ? I want to book a ticket for April, but the furthest it would let me go is 26th of March. There isn't to many Airlines flying to the country I need to go, but Ryanair seems to be th worst of them and the new page is absolutely rubbish. Why do they always have to fix something what is not broken !!!!!!!

If so, please keep me posted on your progress. I feel so strongly about this blatant profiteering approach by Ryanair that I am prepared to take my case to the bitter end. Even if the so say name changes were necessary, to charge such an exhorbitant amount is totally unjustified. Do you think that Ryanair deliberately build in a feature to their website in order to screw up a few clients at random to boost their failing profitability ? Also, remember when oil prices went very high, we were charged a "fuel supplement" ? Have we seen discounted prices now oil prices are at an all time low ? Not a bit of it, the massive fuel savings are going straight into their pockets .

This new website is totally not user friendly. It jumps about all over the place, shows you prices of flights but won't display when they are! Totally impossible to book a flight at all. Having to use another airline - dearer but at least I can get to where I need to be Buck up ryanair

I give up. Don't they want any business? When is someone in Ryanair realise how * the new website is? Its hard to navigate, you need to know the exact name of the airport or you cant get any further. They must be losing thousands of passengers a day who just cant be bothered with it. WAKE UP RYANAIR. YOUR WEBSITE IS RUBBISH.

Stephen James : Your new web site is a real stress for me and a problem for you. My first fault is that when booking it jumps my date to 2020 when obviously the flights are not available. For checkin it won't take me to my booking page but to a grey page with shadow boxes on it. Please get your new site developers to sought out the problems they have caused. Guest : Cannot check in for flight. Keeps throwing me out of page. Must be costing you a lot of business.

I have just flown Ryanair, Tours ( France ) to Stansted. At Tours airport I was obliged to pay a 320 euro fee for two name changes. My boarding passes had abbreviated our surnames from MANNERS & MULLER to MA & MU ! As it was I had great difficulty checking in on line. My first of many attempts kept printing out our boarding cards with no bar code. I had to drive 15 km's to print out on another computer and printer setup. I was told it was my fault that I didn't notice the name error, when at the time I was congratulating myself on printing the barcode. When I return home, I will be claiming compensation, and keep you all informed of progress.
