Been trying all day to book a flight, site retains my latest destination 'search', date defaults to a date I do not want, when I click on the flights I want, a box opens and states words to the effect of 'booking process too slow, timed out' (I have pretty speedy fingers and I know exactly what flights I want, I note that the initial date default is: - XX/XX/2 - ie the year is simply 2 not 2016?? Phoned twice, first person told me try in 2 hours, second person (who I had real problems understanding(told me to delete browsing history and cookies, I told her I was not going to delete all my cookies! Deleted browsing history and 'Ryanair cookie, result - Zilch! problem still there. Have sent an e-mail, I wonder if I will get a reply

I am having the same problem - it shows all flights unavailable - funny it works fine on my tablet but not on my pc - I've done every techie thing they said to do and I still have problems. I do not have any problems with any other website or anything on my computer. Went on chatline and they said nothing wrong with their site which there is obviously. You would think it would be in their interest to sort it out - it was only because I live near Stansted that I went with them and bothered to book in on my small tablet otherwise I would have gone with another airline. Life is too short really for websites that don't work. Come on Mr O'Leary get your techies to sort this out

unable to check in on line, Live chat site down as well, unable to answer check queries on phone, cannot find any way to find out what will happen and will I be charged for checking in at the airport. Last time with Ryanair, will happily pay more for a professional service

I am also having the same problem when trying to check in online, when entering the year on 'Expiry Date' the date and month shifts back. Then, the months of January and February disappear from the list menu and the dates 1 to 8 from the date menu so, I am unable to enter the correct data. Live chatting with Ryanair I was told it was a browser problem and to use Google Chrome ( which I was using already) They didn't resolved my problem and the lines are now closed. I have tried checking in on a Macbook Pro, Ipad, iphone and a PC and the encounter the same problem. This is very annoying. Need to check in before the afternoon. I have used Ryanair in numerous occasions and this has never happened before.

Using iPad to check in. Click on dob and it comes up as passport. Page won't move up. Helpline suggested using google chrome but got same result. Booked and checked in to an Easyjet flight in less than 2 minutes. There is a serious problem with this new website.

How many more flights are to be endangered by Ryanair's policy of letting all on board regardless of their level of inspiration. Are there not safeguards in place to protect the sensible majority?

Thanks Keith for that - did you Really just click on the Union flag and it just got sorted? What was the "Union Flag &" you said? Is that something more that you clicked or was it just the Union Flag button? Hope all your probs are over now! Keith : After trying for over an hour to check in this Saturday evening, the web page for "check in" suddenly became live & allowed me to print out my boarding passes for Tuesday 3rd March. The only thing I changed during my 85 minutes was to click on the Irish tricolor & change it for the Union Flag & literally seconds letter after tapping the 3 choice screen for retrieving my flight info I could suddenly see Stansted as my departure air[port which had not been there prior to this time. Good Luck & Safe Journeys to everyone who has been struggling. Regards, Keith

Guest : System appears to be up & running after 90 minutes of trying this evening. Try changing Irish Tricolor for Union Flag top right hand corner. Not sure if that's what helped me or whether it was it just coincidence. Good Luck Everyone. Their new website is APPALLING - its slow, clunky, difficult to navigate and normally doesn't perform actions requested, despite internet drop-outs on it. This is disgraceful to former loyal flyers with Ryanair and should be addressed ASAP!

Gordon : New website stinks, that wee Irish git needs to get a grip and sort things out before he loses all his customers. Agree completely. I've used Ryanair faithfully for 12 years as a bus to get me to/from my son & grandsons when they lived in Spain, also for trips to sort out my boat in France and flats in Spain lately. Recently have found the new website almost impossible to use, so resort to searching on the old site for flights, then trying laboriously to book them on the new one. I deplore this so-called "beta" site and hope Mr O'Leary reconsiders as IT DOESN'T WORK

Once you've actually managed to book yr flight the email you get doesn't give any details whatsoever! Unbelievable. I used to print mine off to remind me to check-in later, but now have to laboriously trawl back thru new-site to manage my booking and eventually screen-save it! Ridiculous. Ryanair have made a TREMENDOUS error in commissioning this clunky and disastrous piece of work. They have served their frequent fliers very badly and deserve to lose not thousands but millions of revenue through this complete and utter BODGE.

Try using the old Ryanair site (now on Google) for searching for flights - much easier. Then unfortunately (having written down all chosen flight details) you have to use the new site to actually book it. I found that out a week ago when frustrated beyond rage at the new site! I have yet to check in, as that is only available a week before I go and after reading these posts I'm dreading it.

I have just given up for the second frustrating session of trying to book on Ryanair. I have used them for years to go back and forth to France and Spain but today I have booked Easyjet even though it's not as convenient for me. Why have they done this - what was wrong with the old website? Easyjet was very expensive - they must be cashing in on the Ryanair debacle!

Guest : check in is impossible on ryanairs website. I logged in to my account and was able to see my flight, but no way to check it in. I have to travel in less than 5 hours. This is ridiculous. Having exactly same problem right now except can't even get past first page on check-in. Website took 30 minutes to provide me with To and From boxes and now just will not move onto next page. It's now 5.30am. Does it work only office hours?

SOLUTION - SOLUTION - SOLUTION First of all, go on the goole and find the link to talk to a LIVE CHAT SUPPORT AGENT from Ryan air, they are helpful. They will be able to find the issue and help you out. In my case, it was the fact that i paid with a CANADIAN CREDIT CARD, the fraud departement put a 0,01 euro outstanding amount on my account. The support agent told me to go to the airport to the check in desk and present my credit card so they confirm it is mine. Then they will print my boarding pass no fee. Have a safe trip everyone.

Ryanair's new website seems to have decided where I want to travel from in spite of the fact that there are three airports equidistant from my home and if I stick with the option forced upon me the website times out in a couple of seconds. What's going on?

Guest : I am going to fly in Ryanair and I will bring two cases of 20 KG each. Does anyone knows if I can bring one with 30 KG and the other with 10 Kg or the maximum is 20 for each? Or it only matters the total weight? In my experience with two bags of total weight 30 Kg's, because one was wieghing 17 Kg's and the other 13 Kg's, we were made to transfer 2 Kg's from the heavy one to the other.

All I can get is a little airplane flying round and round in circles on my screen, no access what so ever on any of my devices, and the one time I did get onto the site, it kept defaulting me to travel fr om all London airports, (I live in Belfast). Had enough now - it's easyjet for me (even though they have lim ited flight paths) Mr O'Leary you need to sack whoever commissioned your new site!!!!

We could not check in online as we had no phone service while on a recent trip. When we got to the airport to check in, we were charged £80 as we hadn't booked in in line. That was more than the original flights booked. Staff were appauling, Swearing and making noise all through a night flight. We will not be flying with ryan air again

I am in the process of claiming reimbursement of €320 demanded from me at Tours airport on the 8th. February for two "name changes". This was because or family names had been abbreviated by Ryanair's delinquent new website. I am giving them the opportunity to apologise for ruining our trip, and to settle my claim honourably. We are not asking for money from them, we simply want them to return our own money, taken from us under duress. I will reserve judgement on their company until after things are finalised. I know by reading the messages posted on this website that very many people are experiencing a full range of website problems with Ryanair. I would be very interested to hear directly from anyone who has experienced the same problem. If Ryanair do not do the honourable thing by reimbursing us, it will be less expensive if a group of us hire a law firm, than doing it individually. You can contact me on roddersman@gmail.com

Ryanair on-line check in is a nightmare, I travel with them about 6 times a year ( I have a house in France ) - each time of day or night I try to check in I have the same problem, the screen freezes and it takes an age to enter the details. I dread using their system it is SO infuriating. It is not my IPad as I have no other issues with different sites. Please Mr O'leary fix this for our sanity sake, I for one dread using your site.
