Dont kid yourselves. I have been waiting almost 12 months for a refund. Ryanair make it next to impossible to contact them, and even when they acknowledge the debt due wont bother to pay it.

Guest : Hi all, I had my flight cancelled for a trip to a Spain. Part payed with a voucher, part cash I have had an email saying that they will refund the cash and the voucher is now null and void? Why? Anyone else had this? It was perfectly valid to travel on if they didn’t cancel my flight, this is illegal... exactly the same has happened to us. Refunded £3.94 which we paid extra but voucher null and void. Flight cancelled but offered us the following day which we cant do. Should be flying 8th May but will still be in lockdown!

Have you tried a chargeback or section 75? Did you pay by debit or credit card? Ryanair cancelled flights MAY 4th 2021to Crete, I applied for cash refund, within 7 working days, no refund yet ,they are complete shysters, impossible to contact them in any way they advertise, Phone never answers Chat Bot completely useless, Live chat , non existent. Although they are required by law to refund their customers, they get away with not doing so, anybody got any advice on how to get refund out of them???

After a year of waiting Ryanair have extended ny voucher for another 9 months, so I applied for a cash refund. After putting in the correct email address and booking reference it now says "Unfortunately the information entered does not match the information provided at the time of booking" Is this another delaying tactic from Ryanair?.

I had flights booked for 18 May 21, Ryanair changed flights to 17 May 21 which was unacceptable, I changed them to 16 May 21 and had to pay £160 extra, two days later Ryanair changed them back to the 18 May I asked for a refund for extra money I had paid but they have said there is no refund as it a different flight to original, this seem like a money making scam from Ryanair. How is this fair

My flight from Stockholm to Dusseldorf was cancelled 1/3 2020. After filing EU 261 claim and providing passport documentation + bank details I got an email from Ryan Air 23/3 saying payment had been authorized, and that I should allow up to 28 days for the payment to be completed. Customer service does not give you any information what so ever, since apparently they are not authorized to contact claims department. Very convenient. Sort of a joke at this point. How is this legal?

My partner and I were due to fly out to Portugal on December 13, but cancelled due to the state of emergency there. We're both pensioners who were expected to travel to a country that has Covid 19 just as bad as us. Ryanair have no heart. Their CEO is a modern Robin Hood who robs the poor to make the rich richer. Try Jet2.

I have been contacted via a comment on Facebook by people claiming to be from Ryanairs social media team who will help me with my refund. Gave them my booking ref. They now want email, passenger details, last 4 digits of my card. I refused and asked them to email me via my registered email. They say social media team cant access emails. All sounds very dodgy

Guest Caroline wood : We cannot travel abroad on Saturday 14th Nov 2020 due to lock down rules. To change to later date its a change over fee and when you put the new price its hundreds of pounds more but, when I for example do a new booking the price is the same of my original price and Ryan Air charging myself and husband double. I will never book with Ryan Air again and we are contacting national newspapers.[/QOUT We are in same boat. Our flight in November is still being run despite fact government have banned holiday travel and hence you can't get insurance so you can't go. Saw a newspaper article suggesting to take Ryanair to small claims court. Considering this as have lost nearly £500

Our fligth on 18th August 2020 was delayed by 7 hours due to a technical fault. I filled in the EU261 compensation form a few days later. After about 2 weeks I got an email from Ryanair saying they had received my claim. On the Ryanair website it says they will pay compensation within 10 days. Due to Covid 19 I obviously knew this was gonna take longer. I gave it 1 month before I contacted their customer service just to be told to wait a little longer. I gave it another 2 weeks before contacting them again. The customer agent told me I was sent an email the previous week about my claim. This was untrue. When I told him so, he fobbed me off saying he escalated the case and I should be contacted within 48h by the compensation department. Again a week later after no response I contacted them again and was told to wait at least 2 more weeks and that the case was escalated again. I still have not heard from Ryanair until today. It has been 3 months since my delayed flight now. Anyone had any similar experience since the start of the pandemic? Any suggestions how to take this further or just be patient.

Guest : Please note Ryanair tell you that you can change flights for free in July and August but this is a LIE....in the small print (terms and conditions) you have to re book a WEEK in advance . This is different from the public information which says you can rebook up to 2 hours in advance of the flight. We have lost 200 pounds. You are packed like sardines on their flights and they let on a man who was sweating profusely and ended up being sick all over the plane. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS Yes i agree with you . its week in advance.. not clear on the site it says any flights booked between those dates . complete robbery

I have tried to re book for my flight which is still apparently running. The website shows a flight fee of £34.99 yet when i try and change its now £81. it wont confirm either if im being charged a change fee until i confirm the booking . My flight is in 7days . So until i click confirm i dont know what i will be charged. probably more than the original flight. Surely this is wrong as we cannot go or face a fine of £200 . Has anyone had their flight cancelled as yet?

Been trying for a refund for 6 weeks for a flight cancelled by Ryanair. They sent e mail offering voucher which I refused and opted for cash refund. I have written several e mails which I have had no response se to at all. Even tried filling the on line refund form in which when I complete ad go to submit a message comes up saying not able to process yet again later. Now very frustrated as the booking was for myself and two other people who are wanting their money back!!

If Ryanair say they do not recognise the information you submitted its probably because you booked with a travel agent and that agent created a fictitious e-mail address for you....a so-called screen scraper. They do this to try and prevent you from having direct contact with airlines. Having said that, the travel agent is obliged to tell you what e-mail address they used for you. Try and find it among the correspondence with the agent and resubmit your request to Ryanair quoting that fictitious address

British Airways has cancelled all flights to Pisa, Italy, for December (and November) 2020. I am considering Ryanair for Christmas tickets. I saw that if I book for December and then I need to change (for example because I need to quarantine once in Italy) I need to pay change fee for booking a new flight for the future. Do you know what happens if it is Ryanair who cancels the flights? Do they offer a refund or only vouchers? Thanks.
