Here is a tip. Try their backup webpage at booking2.airasia.com this resolved the problem with payments

Tried to book PNH-DMK today, all went fine until payment. For some reason the system can't add the credit card charge so the return message is incomplete payment. Problem persists both in Chrome and Edge browsers. Once I even got th emessage 'double booking suspected'. But so far no confirmaton or rejection emails.

Its been a week and whenever u try to book tickets, it brings you to a page that says forbidden access. I know you have given another url to book but I refuse to book my trip with you because this kind of technical difficulties that last for a week or more inspires NO confidence. Why would I book and pay money to risk losing my booking in your technical chaos? I think you are losing a lot of customers this week and I don't know why it's still not fixed. If you don't care to even announce it and assure people then i rather not book with you. Bad timing, coz ppl like me are booking for the upcoming Hari raya travels.

Same for me, did 4 times the same payment on saturday, sunday and tried again today but nothing works on the AirAsia website nor or the app, although I have an account etc. Its a scandal really, and Tony Fernandes should really take the poor website situation seriously. This is really damaging to the company credibility for years now!

For an airlines that depends solely on online bookings and the server is down for so many days !! What is happening? I can't even check for flights, it says i have no permission to the site!! Unbelievable! I wonder if Airasia management is taking this seriously ??

I have tried to make a booking several times and it is not working. Trying to fly from gold coast to penang. and then penang to kl. Everytime I try and book, it just says passenger info not complete even though all the fields are complete!!

Hey im in the midst of booking my ticket on airasia, and during the security part where they asked to enter the moving character, i couldnt read it after refreshed several times. Is there a problem with it?

Airasia website doesnt work - cant accept any cards, if you phone them they offer to book over the phone for a fee of 225 BHT. It their new pages which are problems, they dont tell you they can fix their Chrome or IE/EDge issues, instead telling you porkies like too many people are using the website??? - try again later.. Anyway it work in Firefox and did manage to complete the booking!!! Air Asia need to improve not only their website but also customer service too.

I could not have the payment went thru using online payment by US credit card. After hitting "PRCHASE" it is keeping the circle thinking for very long time. I have to refresh the page then enter my credit card again, same problems occur. I did not get it go through successfully so no booking/itinerary number shown. I carefully check my bank online, nothing charged or pending.

Horrible site! tried to book many times and the security image has no characters in it. tried multiple browsers - same issue. Had to call and book through the service center at an increased price. This airline goes out of its way to make fliers want to fly other airlines. What a shame as I find the staff themselves, once on the plane, to be excellent - it is just everything else about this airline that is an absolute disaster. If I had another carrier option I would take it in a moment. The call-service agent even suggested I book on Bangkok Airways to chi which I promptly told her I would have there been seats available for this last moment booking need. There is a reason people are willing to spend 2-4x the price on other another carriers to not have to deal with AirAsia. Only thing worse than the site is KLIA2 - the worlds worst aiport. They forgot that passengers may actually want/need to fly in and out of the airport instead of just shop when they built that ergonomically challenged monstority.

Cant´t book online, Visa depit or credit payment not working. There is just white blank page after payment, sometimes it says there is a bug. Would like to fly with AirAsia but seems impossible. Gonna try Lion Air next time.
