The error message is either your booking is not linked or My apology to inform you this, but at the moment we will only give the credits to the travelling guest OR to the person who had paid the booking. Chat with me again if you reached out to the persons I mentioned beforehand !. Don't have any phone numbers to call in australia and this AVA is useless.

Guest : I found a solution! Go to your flight, manage your booking. There’s a field under de your name that says: big ID Click on that field, but in your email address and a number will show up. I have tried almost every day for the past two months to contact Air Asia staff so that I can have a refund issued to me for a cancellation of two airplane tickets due to covid-19. Recently they allowed you to progress on their AVA chat box and then go into a queue to speak to a representative. After an hour or two of waiting in queue the window cancels the session. This has happened every single time over a month, more than 30 times to me. I just wanted a refund and to talk to a representative. Their Twitter account also does not respond. Has anyone received a refund since February 2020?
Air asia cancelled my flight and ask me to chat with AVA for credit account. The problem is I still cannot get credit account coz they said im not the traveller or the one who paid the fare using air asia big. But im the one who buy the ticket using my id my email..what the problem??

By the way today in my booking I found that I have to pay a $4.23 a sum that wasn't there a day before. So check your booking for this kind of tricks.
stupid AirAsia screwed up big time and refuse to refund cancelled flight as ava cannot process further. however, credit into big account is already more than a week and still ava says it's new. means that in the future, if this covid drags on, you're going to see the airline refuse to refund anything after your credit expires.

Finding it extremely difficult to get the credit on flights AirAsia cancelled. Booking agent had to provide me with their ID and now "My Cases" is nowehre to be found on the BIG Loyalty website.

I am coming to this page in order to describe my horrendous experience with AVA and in consequence the Allstar service. When going through the comments, I understand that the majority, if not all, of your customers experience the same problems even if the majority of your current customers understand the situation: lack of transparency, change of conditions without properly informing, not refunding even when confirmed and worst of all not being able to properly talk to anybody ...definitely NOT a showcase of how customer service and care should be ! It might be clear that low-cost definitely NOT means min. standard quality. These current customers, including myself, will think twice before becoming your future customer. CC. The Star

Guest We four families have booked the tickets. It is around one lac rupees altogether. The flight got cancelled and now it is becoming a problem to get the refund. We have been trying to get the refund since so many days but of no use. I have seen so many people posting their opinions and the problems faced by them. Despite knowing this can't we take any action against them. It would be good if some human being instead of a robot from airasia would respond to this and solve the problem.

update:- the credit account page shows up when i access their site from a non chrome browser. seems like its not working in chrome. by the way cancellation was done by them due to covid-19 and its very sad that i couldnt get a refund to my bank. Anyway im happy that they at least credited the amount as credit to my airasia account
when i asked for a refund to my bank account they said they can only give credit to airasias credit account. it took a very long time to get hold of a live agent online.the chat robot decides whether to get you connected with a live agent or not. luckily it gave me a link.to chat with a real human. I quoted their website saying I'm eligible for a refund then they are telling me to check their updated terms which is saying only credit to account is available. What i learned here is that they can update their terms anytime and screw their own customer. Feeling helpless i asked them to credit to my account and now i received the email saying my account has been credited. Even though it says credited i have no way to confirm it because the website's credit account page isn't loading. It is really weird to not load only the credit account page while the rest of the website is working fine. i hope i will manage to load it today
That AVA thing sure is not helping at all!! I wonder who had that idea to change the cs with a robot. Like, seriously??!! You can never make a human being to communicated with a robot! It's make me even more frustrated with this current situation!!
I had a stop over flight (KL stop over) and they cancelled the flight when they decided to block the border. Even though you would be isolated to the transfers terminal, i thought ok, fair enough. So then i booked another flight direct between Bangkok and Australia, thinking no problem, it bypasses Malaysia. This was an expensive flight, which i was also informed had been cancelled. I was lucky to have funds to then buy another Thai Airways flight home and made it. But it seems the website was accepting flight bookings when they knew they would be cancelling flights, as i checked some time after all flights where cancelled, same routes, and after they called to advise. Anyone actually get a refund or credit yet? I have a feeling that that money is lost forever.
Having same problem here, can't get case check to load. Guess I'll give them benefit of doubt that's it's very busy right now.
