Terrible refund process.. The airline says 7-14days for refund to be completed. Don't believe that. All agents are going to ask the customers to wait and wait and wait and wait... Horrible experience.

Bought a ticket from Taiwan back to Malaysia as I saw air asia X flight has opened. I used the AAX e voucher, ended up voucher was used, but remaining balance can't be paid by any bank cards, no matter it's a credit card or debit card. Keep popping out saying can't process my payment. Asked the AVA, and finally they manage to send me REAL HUMAN, which called as Allstars, and he/she helped to check my booking number and gave me, and i told her/him my situation as i can't pay the remainings, and they replied," it should worked". Then he told me or else, go to the nearest air asia office to deal with the problem.
Book flight via an App and system error. I end up have double booking. Tried to ask for refund but the problem flight still not cancel. My case status is assigned and I don’t know when they will cancel the flight and give my money back. No way to talk to a human and really hard to deal with the bot.

I have been able to use out travel voucher on an Air AsiaX flight from Perth to Kuala Lumpur (issued from travel credit due to Covid 19); following their instructions I applied the voucher code, but now I am unable to pay the balance of the booking - none of my payment methods is accepted. I feel that they offered up the travel voucher but do not want to honour it. I was able to book an internal Malaysian Air Asia flight (can only use the voucher on international flights) and was able to pay for it using the same credit card I tried to use for the international flight. Very frustrating and no one to get support or answers from. AVA chat is useless.

They are now saying I cannot use my credit as the airline I have selected is not AirAsia... How am I meant to use the credit? AirAsia is not letting customers use the credit unless it is with their airline but yet advertise other airline options on their website... We can't even use out credit to book a flight out of Australia! Anyone having the same issue?!

I am from Czech Republic (Europe) and I always received same message "unable to process your payment" no matter which card I chose. Then I installed VPN client in my mobile phone, set my location to any EU country and suddenly the payment was successfull. It works with phone, tablet as well as laptop. I think that the airasia website/app checks your IP address and if you are located in Asian country then it expects payment from local cards. Just make sure that you connect via VPN client to non-asian country and it will work.

Purchased a AirAsia flight ticket before 30 June 2021, So AirAsia credited the amount back to our registered AirAsia account due to the flight affected by covid and cancelled. During 23 July 2020, a post was share by AirAsia, AirAsia extends Credit Account validity to 3 years — airasia newsroom. In this post, it mentioned the credit amount will be last for 3 years and no further action is needed. Have try to log into my AirAsia account, the expiry date of the credit shows at June 2023. But without further notice, our account credit was expired on May 2022, tried to search for their hotline, FB messenger and WhatsApp, only bot replied, and no option related to credit amount issue. Went to Airport counter, but the reply was “you need to go through online channel to report”, and there have no details on where is the “online channel”. This problem was drag from May 2022 until now and we have no way to get our data back. Need help with this issue

I took more than 100 flights (i am a Gold Member this not included my company purchase) from Air Asia and only 3 times takeoff (except in the morning first flight) on said time and twice landed as said. this is why i am writing as I think Air Asia is practicing a bad habit of making money. 1) you have confirm delay only after customer made the payment and they notice during flight status checking. (just book my flight to Penang on 29 August at 1.17pm and and check my flight status at 1.23 pm after check in and found delay by 40 min.) this means you have preplan your delay 3 days a head purposely. 2) you have never bother to inform you customer earlier on the delay during booking itself. 3) Since the aviation law says its ok to have 2 hours delay, you take advantage to cheat your customer and make money. How can you improve? 1) be transparent - if you forecast you delay to merge the flight, so beat it. inform your customer, at least they can plan their travel plan. 2) inform your delay in big red. customer like me always be happy see and replan our plans. 3) Aviation law said 2 hours is for real emergency or trouble on the plane, so don't make use gap on making money. i believe more people will love to be on time. There are no contact addresses or hotlines! Avoid booking through AirAsia / KIWI.COM - I have been waiting for a refund of my airfare for over 3 months. -- Perhatian. Air Asia has gone and changed my departure from 16-21 to 17-22. This has resulted in my losing one nights paid accommodation and an extra night which I'll have to buy another nights room. What will the Chubb insurance policy I bought do for me and my accommodation losses? I've thought of requesting a refund and purchasing the flight again which would be through Pal Airlines as they are flying the same routes in the same original days. I don't understand how Air Asia and Pal just flip the flights back and forth to each other, it looks like a trick they're using.
Anne : I want to use credits to to pay for an Air Asia flight in India. When I try to use my credit at the payment page it says it can only be used for Air Asia flights. It is an AA flight. Magmoz : My credit account was cancelled on the 11.07.22. No email to inform of this. Even though I am certain that the credit expiry date was September 2022. Could not use the credit as no flights are scheduled from Melbourne. Communicating with Air Asia is extremely difficult. Hey, mine is the same. They have converted my credit account to a travel voucher (5yrs validity). I received my travel voucher in email. You might want to check!

My credit points expired, due to covid travelling was restricted. So I request to please return back my credit points as the amount is huge.

AA has early expired our credit, without giving us any notice or notification. The credit is supposed to be expired in 2023! Lately, AA is so desperate for money by giving fake promise about flight timing to their customers. If you have bought any flight ticket with AA recently, by the time comes close to the flight date, AA will re-schedule your flight to a very unfavorable timing (eg. 4am / 5am), else they will give you an option to change your flight to a better timing (eg. 10am), with an extremely ridiculous extra charge. You basically can buy another flight ticket with the extra charge cost. AA is trying so hard to destroy their long-built legacy. I was the loyal customer of AA for the past 10 years, but AA has successfully disappointed their customers. I will never use AA in the future. Guys, please think twice before you buy with AA.
