I booked my return ticket just today and i bought their promo fare from macau to manila. I dont know if this is part of their strategy because I am really sure that I have entered the correct date of my departure which is July 8. so when I processed the payment and stuff, I received an email confirming my flight and it is showing here that my flight will be on july 30. I was really shocked when I saw it so I checked my account from them and yeah it is really showing their that my departure will be at july 30. I tried to call them but it was already close same as their chat. Now I need to pay another fee to change my booking date. such a pain to the nth degree times infinity. it's hassle and of course instead of saving a lot by purchasing their promo, it turns our that i'll be spending more for this.
Experienced a lot of problems with AirAsia homepage. the tickets i wanted changed priced many times. when finally I decided to buy them I could lot logon into my account. When i finally logged in I could now buy the tickets because some ERROR 500 blabla was popping up! When finally their system was very "nice" to me I managed to buy the ticket (after 3 or 4 hours of vain attempts) I was so exhausted that i mistyped my email! What a hell!. Their "customer service" in korea sucks. noone picks up the phone. it is always on buzy mode. have been trying for two days so far with no results... Filled in their e-form (which also took me another two hours because it didn seem to work properly). So far no result! What a hell...... I know it is a low cost but at least a MINIMUM of basis services should be covered i think...

I have never been as rudely treated as I have been with this 2-Bit excuse for an airline. I wanted to redeem some Big points (I have over 12,000 points) and the computer kept shutting me down. I received no assistance from the Thai 'Help Center', either. The system simply will not respond after 6 hours of attempts. I have booked on line with Nok Air, and will probably continue ... Air Asia is a cheap bunch of unprofessional airline wanna bees. If you don't take me seriously - wait until I decide to go public you have 24 hours to respond - explain your sorry business practices, or be held to account. Robert W. Thanks for the tip about changing my password in order to manage my booking, I would still be in that eternal loop of frustration. Never booked with Air Asia before and so far I am very unimpressed. Confirmation email but no itinerary, tried calling a call centre for confirmation that 5 seats have been successfully booked because the confirmed email doesn't even tellyou this, no response. Eventually spoke to an extremely patronising man who couldn't help because they only help long haul passengers?!!!!! Turns out no call centre in Singapore, can call Indonesia, guess what, no reply! Joined the Air Asia 'club' waited several days to be granted access but still couldn't look at my itinerary. Thank goodness I found this thread! I hope the Check in and flight are better than the booking process....
Beijing - no group check so they use Baggage Drop. If you have no luggage and just need a document check you have to wait through 50-100 pax. One and a half hours. Chinese efficiency plus AirAsia = Rubbish Airline
Worst airline call centre ever and the ask page is even worse, for an airline like air asia its embarrasing the services are so bad for the call center and when its their fault for cancelling flights we have to search high and low to contact them. I suggest fire all your call centre staff and do it more professionally and do better service for everyone. I fly air asia almost all the time and made many bookings for family and friends for my wedding and even company but the airline cancelled flights to jb from jakarta at their whim and fancy. is there a 0 grade, thats what they are.

it is my first time to ride in an airplane,AIR ASIA for i have to attend a wedding of my tito,when we got back, cebu to manila our flight was delayed 10:40 is the time for our departure and it was move to 12:30...We have to make sure that we should be on manila at 2;00 pm for our departure manila to davao...The plane land at 2:05,when we got already at the check in area, they will not accomodate us anymore because according to them the plane had already depart....So we ask immediately mr. miller belmonte the officer incharge to give us accomodation,our scheduled was move to may 14, at 2pm. what embarassed me was ,we ask for the medical assistance for my aunt 's condition and my cousin who is pregnant,but he refused to offer his help.....what kind of person he is,all we want is his consideration.....Air Asia please give your action on this matter....

I am a first time customer with Air Asia and I have experience the worst customer service ever with Air Asia and it's contracting partner the WINTREX TRAVEL CORPORATION. I booked a flight online worth Php 6,202.00 and decided to pay electronically with a debit card because the online reservation granted was only 30 minutes. Unfortunately, the Dragonpay account was not approving the payment because the third party approval is still on pending. So I opted to communicate with the nearest Air Asia reservation and ticketing outlet near my office. The location was near the SM Department store beside the SMX Convention Center. First, I informed the staff that I have an existing booking online and wanted to pay through them. Maria Liza Mabaet, a ticketing agent with an arrogant and authoritative tone of voice states that it's not at all possible because it was reserved online under Dragonpay and there is no way to do it unless I call Air Asia directly. I then inquired if it's possible to get the lowest fares based on the reservation I made online. Maria, then started to provide a quotation based on the dates advised but with a rate higher than what I have requested. I asked the agent to put the correct titles on the ticket out of respect for the person I was with. The agent did not state the hidden charges unless it was pointed out to them. At this point my ticket was now expensive and rose to an amount of Php 6286.80 plus Php 694.40 for booking through them. My partner and I decided to continue with the reservation due to the fact that we are already in front of an Air Asia representative. I also added that the seats be placed at window seats away fr om the wings. Nothing was reviewed and neither was a signature asked to confirm if everything was correct. Because my partner was in a rush, we left the ticketing outlet. Upon reviewing, the agent failed to do the following: • did not identify themselves as contracted travel agents from WINTREX TRAVEL CORPORATION • give courtesy and respect to the customer being serviced • provide the right fare and provide flight details • ask for email address to link reservation made to the Air Asia online account • provide any policies and procedures regarding check in and baggage • provide information on how to check RELOC within the Air Asia website. So I went back to the Air Asia Ticketing outlet and requested for more information on the PAID ticket. Adding insult to injury, Luke Sambat, the current team lead was not paying attention to how his agents were servicing customers, wh ereas I was given arrogance when I asked why certain things were not provided upon booking . Maria Liza Mabaet, the servicing agent then started to state loudly that she feels abused with how I conducted myself when I demanded for the information which was supposed to have been done right and provided by them in the first place. I pointed out that I paid as a customer and this is my right and that they are in a business of providing quality customer service. I left the ticketing office insulted with minor things resolved like the title change and providing the details on the seat assignment and nothing more. I still can not see my bookings online. I am at an awe and motivated to share my experience to unsuspecting customers to show how Air Asia represent the airline.

BEWARE THE AIR ASIA ONLINE BAG SCAM. We flew Phuket to Chiang Mai. At checkin, I got dinged nearly $60CAD ($50US) for a 20kg bag. When I regained consciousness, I asked the friendly desk person how we could avoid / lessen the charge on the return flight. He cheerily suggested we check in online, and 'pre-register' the bag at the same time. The savings would be 'significant'. So today, before our return flight, I did just that. Got all of us checked in online no problem. But when it came to pre-registering my bag, the system froze me out. The drop down menu didn't drop, nothing. Even after multiple attempts. We got to the airport, I told the check-in person my dilemma, got the cow in the pasture stare, and got dinged the FULL AMOUNT again. Hey, I said, I tried to do the right thing and register the bag online LIKE YOU TOLD ME. Your system didn't work. Same cow in the pasture stare. I repeated my story to the person taking the cash. Same stare. I guess they'd rather have us tell the world nasty news, rather than fix their website or give a bit of leeway to people who are struggling to work within their system. Oh well, spread the news, folks.
Both legs of my trip on AirAsia next month got "early retimed" (rescheduled). I received an email notification which promised I could either: (1) choose another flight on the same day (which actually is not an option because there is no such other flight offered on the same day); OR (2) receive a credit shell. So I filled out the online form to request a credit shell for each leg of the trip. Result: My request was granted for the return leg, but rejected for the 'to' leg. ??? So I filled out the online form again for the credit shell. I did this several times and my request was rejected every time with no reason or explanation. Even though I stated my problem clearly and politely. Is there an actual human on the other end? So I tried the AirAsia live chat. The queue was quite long each time (up to 3 hours), and each time, shortly before my turn, I got an error message saying the service is currently unavailable. I don't want to assume that they're avoiding my case, but I can't seem to find a solution and I've noticed that I'm not the only one. I've had no response on the e-form I submitted. I'm not located near a sales counter. I can't afford to make long-distance calls, esp as I'd expect to be put on hold. Very strange.

I need to check in thru manage my booking, but it keeps looping onto the same login page whenever i login correct credentials. Seems all pages under "booking" are having the same issue. Fix this, or you gonna lose more clients. My friends are supposed to book a flight online but hesitated when i told them this booking problem.
