Hi. I booked a flight using my big member account for a friend (im nit included on the flight). However, the flight has been cancelled and was converted to a credit account then was put to my big member account. Can I use the credit account to book my own flight or can it only be used for the passengers of the original flight?

I was given a credit amount balance due to a canceled flight but it's a total fraud as I am unable to either check or use it. Please resolve the matter immediately or I will raise the issue to a higher authority.

I have the same problem with my credit account. There is no option to use the credit account. Whats the use of crediting if we cant use it Guest : The credit account balance is not reflected when I login to my account. However the annoying AVA shows there is balance. But when i try to book a domestic flight, there is no payment option to use my credit balance. Knowing that there are so many people facing the same issue and yet Air Asia does nothing to resolve them is just frustrating. Wish there was a straight forward way of getting my hard earned money back. P.S: Never booking a flight again with Air Asia! Ever!

Flights cancelled by AirAsia due to pandemic, opted for refund. That was July 2020. Contacted them numerous times once navigating through the CHATBOT and “service” on WhatsApp. The Allstars lie and promise and claim they will escalate or expedite your claim, which are just words they’ve been told to use. I provided my bank/card details and they said they would refund me within 8 - 12 weeks…that came and went. Then they lied and said I hadn’t provided the swift code, so I sent a screenshot to disprove their claim. The words expedite and escalate came up again… one Allstar called me “dear” which just added insult to injury and proved that their staff are just so undertrained and incompetent but they’re only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to this shoddy “airline”. There’s only one other company in the world who I have encountered that are as useless and as crooked and that is Etisalat in the UAE. They make my blood boil. Airasia are number two. The worst crooks you could ever deal with. Still waiting for my refund. I used a debit card not a credit card and this was my downfall but I will use my bank to try to investigate.

Guest : Hello! After more than a year at least I heard from Airasia saying they would pay my refund. I received an email asking for my bank details, which is strange as I am meant to be paid to the same account I used for buying the tickets. My experience with this company is so bad that I am afraid this may be an scam. Any one got the same email? Thanks. I got the same email and it is just a stalling technique to make you think they will actually refund you, mine has never arrived and they refuse to provide proof of payment being made by them so my bank can trace

I requested for a travel fund last year as a refund, I got the right amount of credits after 3 weeks. Its been a year since then but now checking my credits got deducted! I didnt book any flights since Covid. Worst thing is there's no way to call them or talk to them via phone. Just the stupid chat bot! I also asked a travel fund as a refund in Cebupac but didnt have any issues. I also got it after 3days.

Guest : The issue I have with them is that I cannot use the Credits! Really frustrating. Last year my flight got chanceled by AirAsia X and I get credits instead of a refund. I now want to book another flight with A X so I can use the credit account. I have read the manual and followed it step by step. With the very last step, the payment, there should be an option to use the credit account. But there isn't. Is anyone familiar with this issue and has succeeded in using their credit account? Now I noticed something strange though. I open the website - www.airasia.com/en/gb - where I am logged in and my credits are visible. When I search for a flight another website opens - flybeyond.airasia.com/en/ - where I am not logged in and where I cannot log in with my airasia credentials. I have used the exact same login details, but no account according to the website. So I made another account and opened a complete new account with my current emailadres. I come to the conclusion that those are two different websites. The account with my credits are not recognized on the flybeyond.airasia.com/en/ website where all flights are listed. I am really stick here. Really strange. Me too. I have just tried booking a flight to Australia using the so-called credit account with the steps suggested on their website. However, there is no payment option with credit account. very frustrating and now the credit is stuck in the account.

AirAsia cancelled a 2020 flight to India on which I was booked, had paid. FOURTEEN TIMES I have requested a refund. They claimed it was possible within two yeathe first request. However they just kept me hanging on for more than a year. Now they put up a tremendously complicated series of demands - it was so long ago that I can’t remember details anymore. I strongly commend every cognitively competent person to avoid AirAsia like the plague.

However, I sent it to them but no response. It is all a big scam for wasting time not to pay you back.

I received a very unsatisfactory response to the queries pertaining to the unlimited pass RM499 which AirAsia state that they will not be extending the expiry date of 30th June 2021. Below is the * statement from AirAsia. " credits may be reinstated for future bookings with AAX at its discretion" I believe most of us " the creditors" are looking forward to have our credits reinstated for future bookings with exactly the same conditions as stated when we first purchase them and will not be expecting a "refund"....however we are extremely disappointed that Air Asia is using the statement " credits may be reinstated" which not only sounded like a scam from a big corporation like yours whom we Malaysians has been supporting throughout the last 2 decades......but it looks like we are all taken for a ride and made into " fools". " credits may be reinstated for future bookings with AAX at its discretion" We will not be made into ' fools " and will not be taking it lying down if our credits are not reinstated.....because we are very confident Air Asia will rebound in due course. We were the ones who supported AirAsia when it first launched and will continue to do so. It will be a gross injustice and a betrayal if we the common folks are being cheated. We will not be accepting this lying down and will be taking relevant actions.

Suggest to show back credit account summary at our profile page. Make it eligible to use our credit to purchase the air asia food, health or other groceries. Or else, the best, let customers to refund the credit account money back to their bank account. It's the best option to let ur customer to continuously support air asia.
