I couldn't receive the OTP message since last week and ended up needing to wait after several attempts, I can't check in and log in through the phone app and am unable to log in online as well. Air Asia, please fix the problem, my flight is next week.

I was looking to purchase an Air Asia ticket Sydney to Phnom Penh with a transit stop in Kuala Lumpur. The booking details say "External.Thru" for which I am charged $A40. Does anyone know what this means? Is this the same as FlyThru or does this mean i have to self-transfer (i.e. go passport control pickup baggage and re-check in)? The Customer Support bot is useless and there does not seem to be a phone number.

Tracy Fell : I booked Air Asia flights & a hotel package through Agoda. The booking has been confirmed however I can’t find the booking on my Air Asia account in order to pre-book my check-in luggage. Where I put in the airline reference code P9RJNA it says there is no booking? DOES YOUR FLIGHT GO ON?

I have been trying to book flights for 3 days in a row.. Same error every time. Happens after selecting no insurance. Very annoying cannot purchase any flights.

I am unable to add on baggage weight and also unable to get any help at all from airasia. Theres actually no customer service staff. How can i get actual help with adding on baggage weight?

How the * do you contact air asia. I've tried to find multiple emails none of them send. The phone numbers just ring to a message that hangs up on you? Their bot won't direct you to talk to someone so you can't find any information if you lost your itinerary or anything. Contact me air asia

Guest : Anyone having trouble paying for their flight on Air Asia ? We go through the whole process and it won’t accept the payment. It’s not the different credit cards , we’ve checked I had same problem and investigated it with manager of my bank. Problem is that you see and accept different amount of money (in my case was 130 USD), but bank got request for different amount (in my case 141 USD). As amounts are different bank refuse this request and send them some code of mistake. And I don't have idea why AirAsia request different amount what wasn't accept.

An Airline with a Gotcha agenda to fleece I booked carrier Air Asia for a round trip flight from Bangkok to Phuket for a golf trip with the boys. Since in Trip.com website, Air Asia only allows 7kg carry-on luggage (no frills), I thought I definitely need to buy an extra 20kg baggage option to accommodate my golf bag (THERE WAS NO SPORTS EQUIPMENT OPTION TO CHOOSE FROM IN TRIP.COM). With that said, when I checked in at DMK, I got the "Gotcha" treatment. I will need to pay for my golf bag separately because it cannot go under my 20kg baggage option. I explained it to the check-in counter representative that how can Air Asia NOT offering this option or make it clear to customers in their affiliated website (trip.com)? The only reply from the Air Asia representative was to please direct my complaint in social media. Judging from his reply, I guess he has seen these instances just way too often....I proceeded to ask for exchange for the 20kg baggage option with their so-called sports equipment option (willing to pay the difference), and I got the gotcha response. Not able to do that! Determined not to let this ruin my trip, I then went to pay at the Air Asia counter for the golf bag. The lady there, while sympathetic, was also telling me to direct my complaint in social media ( I guess it's their standard response because it seems to me that they are also tired from this type of argument) I am writing this to warn other future passengers about this airline and their so-called "smart-ass" business practice to achieve their bottom line! If these MBA top executives are so savvy, they should maybe take some lesson from sales/customer service. I am now a disgruntled customer who will now avoid using Air Asia in any mean necessary. Shame on Air Asia and also some blame needed to be shared by trip.com too. Watch Out!!!!!

For anyone having log in issue with OTP on AirAsia just put in any random OTP and should work. Just worked for me on 28/7/2023

No sure if this helps but I put 123456 as the OTP and bypassed the stupid verification. I can use the app normally now. Guest : NO OTP FROM ASIA FOR OVER ONE WEEK CAUSES COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY STRESS. I’ve checked ALL my settings!

I tried using BO for assistance and his response made no sense to me. Is there another way to make a reservation? i am getting same OTP problem, waited 24 hrs retired still no use. looks like it is an useless app.

Been trying to book ticket for almost a week using airasia app and through a laptop, pick the cheapest deal thru airasia SNAP which includes flight and hotel. After key-in the details and proceed to the next page then pop-up "uh ah! Something went wrong page". I have been retrying at least 20 times and still the same "ua ah! Something went wrong page" appeared. AIRASIA IS THIS A SCAM?

Airasia is very unfair and unprofessional. I have witnessed a clear case of scam. I booked an international flight for 3 passengers along with add-ons of baggage. I paid extra fro baggage. They cancelled the my baggage after two days and stayed "the full amount that was charged to your original payment method will be refunded.This will take 14 working days”. It's been more than a month. Now the tickets booking is confirmed the baggage is confirmed. We booked a new ticket due to the message we got from airasia. Now they are not allowing us to cancel our tickets because of their mistakes and wrong message. This is clear scam. My booking number is 10011754447. i have travelled across the globe. I am witnessing this scam for the first time. If you have cancelled my baggage you must give me provision of cancelling with full refund due to mistake at your end. I have made 100s of attempt to compliant and address my issue but the chat bot Bo have no option to address my concerns. Extremely painful experience. I am traveling with my elderly dad. Our vacations is ruined because of this issue and caused us mental harrassment. This is really serious concern.
