I booked a flight to phuket during september 2020 which was cancelled due to pandemic and I got refund as credit account balance. Now the flight cost to phuket from MAA(same origin point as before) is 4 times more. Hence decided to do a domestic trip with that balance but not able to use it for any domestic flights.

AirAsia is the most convenience low cost i ever tried when its cancel, I can choose free reschedule or refund full into credit account , AVA is quite easy to use, I just follow the instruction and done. be smart guys
It happened to me today. My flight booking with other airline using the Airasia App unfortunately failed but the payment was successful. I've received the email stated that the refund is automatically initiated. How long would it takes? In what ways the refund will be credited? Is it going to be credited in the Airasia's credit account or is there any other option? I hope to get the clarification asap as i am in need of that money. AVA is not helping at all. Guest : “Credit account” option is not displayed for me to select in the payment processing page. But the credit is shown when I check for it at “my account” and of course it’s not expired yet... I had this problem too

The email from airasia states that "we'll automatically refund any payment that was charged to you." how long will it take for this refund to take place? or do we need to file or raise a refund request for this? hope we are not the one experiencing this. However i have something to change in the payment process and the process got stucked, then i ended up not getting the chance to use my money in my credit account (latest) as it seemed that the credit account money was stated '0' amount, yet the booking amount to be pay was return to its normal price. Since i was in rush, i have no choice and just paid for the booking. So how can i get my credit account amount back? I still want to use it for my booking in future. have you settle this? Because I experience same case with you. I cant use it for my purchases.

Min : Unable to retrieve booking even on the app. Booking was already paid but i wasnt able to locate the booking. Same issue here. Booked an international flight last week on the (new?) AirAsia website. The payment went through and it was confirmed. The next day, the booking completely disappeared on my account. No updates on whether it was cancelled or refunded. Nothing. It was just gone. AVA is no help at all. After multiple back and forth messages, I was finally able to connect to an agent -- NO HELP EITHER. They took no liability in my issue and kept repeating that, unless it was specifically an AirAsia airline flight, they cannot help. Currently in the process of contacting the airlines directly. No luck so far. They say that I still need the e-ticket number of the missing bookings (these are not the same as the booking number), which AirAsia did not provide.

ReplyI am trying to book online in Air Asia and was planning on using my credit account. But it says on the payment page that the credit account option is temporarily unavailable. How do I resolve this?
AirAsia Phone Number 1-888-589-1015 : My credit account balance is missing from my large AirAsia membership account. Later I found out that my people suffered from the same problem. It is a kind of open money theft. All together filing a court case on the same issue. If there are any government PROs, go big as it is a million dollar AirAsia scam. I am experiencing the same thing.

Friends fact is forget your hard earned money paid to AirAsia because these bunch of scammers only intend to take money from customer and provide nothing back nether refund nor service. Time to boycott AirAsia completely.!!!

Yes I had the same issue...after a long wait and trying over multiple days finally got past ava to an agent and they mentioned the credit shell cam only be used for flights operated by airasia and the original country airasia with which the ticket was booked. Unfortunately I can't even book the same original route as they are not operating on that sector....somyes these airasia bastartds are sitting with interest free customers money.
We want a full refund for all cancelled flight due to the pandemic. We are not doing business with airasia X. We are just customers whom Airasia made money from us. We will do a mass boycott of all Airasia products incl. Airasia Cab, food delivery, etc.
